Height Headcanons for the Finwean siblings (+ wives because I couldn't stop myself)

Note: This is meant to entertain, don't take anything said here too serious, though I will fight for my tall boy Finarfin agenda. Also if there is any form of measurements mentioned I will do the world a favour and use the metric system, sorry Americans out there

General order: Finarfin → Findis → Fingolfin → Lalwen = Fëanor

first off all all of them are tall by elvish standards

In Fëanor's humble opinion Lalwen is just the least worst sibling because they're literally the same height and he doesn't feel like she mocks him when they're standing next to eachother

Reasons why he feels the others are mocking him (even though they totally don't):

a) Finarfin and Findis are like always there when something for once is out of his reach and make the mistake of - brace yourself - offering help

b) Fingolfin is just unfortunate for being the exact same height as their father (sorry buddy but Fëanor has enough problems with you looking so much like dad and now you're also as tall as him. not. fair)

Off-topic but: Lalwen has the habit of just picking any of her siblings up and carrying them around if so desired, doesn't matter that they're taller than her

all of them find is kind of funny, even Fëanor isn't pissed because honestly he does the same thing with Nerdanel and the kids, can't blame his half sister, carrying people around is fun

honestly everyone has carried everyone over their shoulder at some point but Lalwen does it the most

Fingolfin is just like two centimetres taller than Lalwen and Fëanor in terms of actual height but his hair is just so ridiculously poofy that he seems almost as tall as Finarfin (same goes for Finwë if he isn't wearing his hair in braids)

Findis is as tall as and looks a lot like Ingwë, and while the two of them find it hilarious the royal court of Valmar (and Tirion) always has to do a double take before approaching either of them

It doesn't help that their voice range is almost the same too, yes either Findis has a very deep voice or Ingwë a surprisingly high voice

Finarfin has a hard time with about every door in Tirion due to the fact that he hits his head about everywhere he goes. Finwë had the official law for the average height of doorframes changed because of this exact reason (which proofed to be not enough once Argon had reached his full height poor guy)

honestly once he got his growth spurts he found his new personal archenemies in Tirions architecture which is exactly why he moved the Alqualondë (the Teleri have a thing for overly high doorframes and ceilings)

also Finarfin was the tallest of the Noldor until the next generation reached adulthood then he suddenly ranked fifth being the same height as his own daughter

think about it once everyone leaves he regains the title

Lalwen and Findis have the least issues with their height and Fingolfin would too if that wasn't one more thing about himself that got him hate from his older brother

Fëanor probably invented high heels at some point out of pure spite and because he wanted to be taller than Finarfin but was completely incapable of wearing them

he gifted the first fully functional pair to Anairë on her wedding day so that "she would at least be able to kiss her husband without having to stand on her tip toes" (he needed a wedding present ok? Nerdanel made him get one)

Nerdanel is tall but still not as tall as her husband (their genes combined are what gets them Maedhros, all the others turned out about their own height or a bit shorter *cough* Caranthir *cough*)

Earwen certainly inherited her uncles genes which she passes down to Galadriel but sadly her mother was beyond short and so she got a good mix in between, slightly above average height

Elemmírë is totally average in height and has a thing for tall women, good for her that Findis is, by the time they're married, the tallest woman of the Noldor

Anairë is short, like if she and Tuor would stand next to eachother he'd be slightly taller than her and that says something - she loves tall men though and with her newly acquired pair of high heels she is at least able to look her husband in the eyes

compared to a normal sized human like me they'd all be giants though. I'm talking about a more or less twenty-five centimetres difference between myself (172cm) and Anairë (ca. 197cm)

Global Warming Fraud Redux

 1/31/19.

There is a global network of thieves that have been raking in enormous amounts of money using this scam. A banking dynasty; an international criminal cartel that is intent upon bringing the entire planet under the control of their stated ‘Agenda 21’ which is the ‘New World Order’ of enslavement and depopulation. To expose their lies and explain the truth, as Matt Damon said in ‘The Martian:’ “I’m gonna have to science the shit outa this” First, dear listener; you’re going to have to let go of what you think you know: They tell you: “97% of scientists say that global warming is real and manmade carbon dioxide is the cause.”                      That is simply a lie. This 97% number is based on an on-line survey sent out ten years ago to 10,257 so-called earth scientists. Only 3,146 actually responded. From those they cherry picked 75 of them. Of those 75; 97.4% agreed with their alleged consensus about CO2 and global warming. In other words two of those 75 disagreed. Can you say “rigged statistic?” Why didn’t they just un-cherry pick those 2? Then they coulda said 100% agreed. But no: they didn’t want their scam to be too obvious. They know that most people won’t bother to check up on their lies and that’s all that’s needed. Lets start with the basic lies of their premise: 1st: They want us to think that ‘greenhouse gas’ governs the temperature on this planet ‘long term.’                        It doesn’t. 2nd: Calling CO2 a greenhouse gas at the concentration it is in our atmosphere is another lie. Granted: If our atmosphere was entirely CO2 it would have a greenhouse effect. Even if it was one of the two dominant gasses or a third; it would. But, it’s not. It’s a trace gas: of NO greenhouse effect significance at all.  The composition of Earth’s atmospheric is, in order of density, about 3/4ths Nitrogen and about 1/4th Oxygen. Then there’s humidity in varying densities and Argon at less than 1%. Those 4 gasses are just about our entire atmosphere; over 99.9% of it.  Then we have the trace gasses. Carbon Dioxide is currently just 0.04% of the air we breath. That’s a little over 400 parts per million. It’s really not worth mentioning at all except that plant life needs it and these global warming liars won’t shut up about it. They picked it for this scam they’re pushing. Calling CO2, at that concentration, a greenhouse gas is just a lie. They also harp on methane! They actually want us to believe that methane at 0.00017% is also greenhouse gas!  That’s 1.7 parts per million of our air! If you’re really gullible enough to believe that the equivalent of a mouse fart in the next room is making this planet hotter, I’ve got a bunch of bridges for sale, near you, at a great price!  Water vapor is the only real “greenhouse gas.” Its concentration changes all the time in different areas. It can be as high as 4% of our atmosphere if you’re in a boat on the ocean, at about 86 degrees, while it’s raining . It can be as low as 0.2% if you’re in a desert at 40 degrees below zero. The rest of the gasses in our atmosphere don’t have any greenhouse effect worth mentioning.   Besides: ‘greenhouse effect’ is not what they want you to believe. It’s a daily thing; it’s effect is temporary. It’s insulation that keeps the side of the planet facing the sun from bursting into flames at 4pm and the night side from freezing over at 4am. It maintains a livable temperature for the fragile life on this planet and we should be grateful for it, not fear it. Carbon dioxide most certainly doesn’t have any noticeable effect on our temperature because at 400 parts per million it’s simply too diluted to be considered a greenhouse gas. What they don’t want you to know is: Life on this planet actually needs MORE of it; a lot more. I’ll explain why in a minute. But first: lets talk about why they’re lying to us: It’s all about global domination and ‘the benjamins’: Tons of money is being wasted on this fraud by both sides of this issue. Pallets of money! Giant buildings full of it! Money that could be put to much better use REALLY helping mankind. But no: our leaders don’t give a damn about the temperature of this planet much less: ‘our’ welfare. Granted there has been a lot of money paid out to fight against this scam. The Koch Brothers and Exxon/Mobile are some of the biggest sponsors in the battle against this fraud. Hundreds of millions of dollars has been thrown at it. They want the truth to be told because they’re being screwed over royally by all the laws and regulations that have come about as a result of this fraud. This scam has been a devastating weapon against the competition in the fuel industries. But the hundreds of millions those guys have paid out to fight against these criminals is pocket change! compared to the TRILLIONS! being spread around to push this scheme for global domination. Over a 12-year period, the EPA gave its Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee members $181 million in grants in exchange for quick rubberstamp approvals of various air quality rules. They even paid the American Lung Association $20 million to support their regulations.  Michael Bloomberg, Chesapeake Energy and ten other wealthy foundations gave The Sierra Club $187 million to attack the coal industry. But those guys are just bit players! In the Obama years, the EPA, Interior Department and other federal agencies paid environmental pressure groups tens of millions in collusive, secretive sue-and-settle lawsuit payoffs on dozens of issues. During Obama’s first term: The Feds spent an estimated $150 billion on climate change and green energy subsidies.That didn’t include the 30% tax credits for wind and solar power worth 8 to 10 billion dollars a year – plus billions more from state programs that require utilities to buy expensive “green” energy.

Everything has become more expensive because they add their carbon taxes to everything! An organization calling itself the ICLEI or the ‘International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives’ founded in 1990; has stuck it’s tentacles into everything; raising the price of everything; funneling money up into the bankers’ coffers. Truly ‘trickle up economics’ at its best ever. Reagan had it backwards. At the September 2018 Global Climate Action Summit, 29 foundations pledged to give $4 billion over five years to their new: ‘Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming’ campaign.  But, that’s just chump change!    “Green” or “renewable” energy has become a trillion-dollar-plus annual industry that has spawned tens of thousands of new businesses worldwide!  The total Climate-Industrial Complex is a $2 trillion dollar per year business! Even major oil companies like Shell Energy now have green energy divisions. They’re not being hurt by this scam at all; they simply raise the price to us at the pump and in everything else we purchase. The US Government Accountability Office puts U. S. taxpayer funding alone at: $13 billion a year for climate change “science,” technology Research and Development and international assistance. With an additional $26.1 billion for climate change programs and activities provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. From 1993 through 2017 their spending on this scam totaled $179 billion. That’s $20 million a day!  Our government gives that money away like Xmas presents and the tax payers have no say in it whatsoever. 

Internationally, the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says the world must spend $2.4 TRILLION DOLLARS for the next 17 years to subsidize the transition to renewable energy. Bear in mind that $1.5 trillion per year has already been going to Climate Crisis, Inc. for research, consulting, carbon trading and renewable projects. With a 6-8% annual growth, we’re easily looking at a $2-trillion-per-year climate industry by now. But even that “falls far short” of the $5 trillion per year that they claim is actually needed. So, when I say it’s all about the benjamins and bribes are flowing like wine I’m not just whistling Dixie.The Rothschilds admit that this scam has made it far easier for them to siphon money from countries all over the world  into their central banks. After all: They have their central banks in almost every country in the world.   

Hey, you want to get in on the action? All you gotta do to get a hefty grant is say you’re studying the effects of global warming on something; anything!. “Hey, Baron Rothschild; I wanna study the effects of global warming on tan lines in Tahiti! Pay me!”   There was a documentary recently put out by scuba divers on the effects of global warming on coral. Never mind that coral actually thrives in warm water; the warmer the better! Never mind that the bleaching of coral these scuba divers took pictures of is because the sea level has dropped several feet over these past 3,000 years. Never mind that those guys got paid big time to tour the world doing what they loved to do. “Look at the videos we made of us scuba diving near the poor bleached coral off shore from the most beautiful beaches and vacation destinations in the world! Pay us!” Here’s a fun fact: Mankind’s recent contribution of CO2 to our atmosphere by burning coal and oil has actually stopped an impending apocalypse which could have killed all life on this planet.           That’s right; I said it! “What?” You gasp! “Is he daft? Now, you’ve gone too far!” Hear me out: Carbon Dioxide is a necessary gas for life to exist on this planet. At the beginning of our industrial revolution; the CO2 concentration in our atmosphere was about 280 ppm. We humans have raised that level to 400 PPM and growing. The warmistas want you to believe that’s a bad thing when it is NOT. Carbon dioxide has no effect on our climate whatsoever but plants are seriously effected by it. Without CO2 plants would die off and animals would follow close behind them. If the CO2 concentration were to drop down to 150 PPM, that is exactly what would happen: Plants would begin to suffocate. Not that long ago; It almost did happen. About 18,000 years ago, the concentration of CO2 in our atmosphere reached 180 parts per million. That’s the lowest it has ever been on this planet. Just a little bit lower and plants would start to die en masse. We animals would soon follow and bye bye life. Luckily we humans came along and started burning coal and oil. Extra CO2 was released back into our atmosphere and the crisis was averted. There have been some major occurrences in this planet’s history which prove overwhelmingly that these warmistas are liars. For example: at the end of the Jurassic Period, 145 million years ago, CO2 concentration spiked upward but temperature fell dramatically. That’s the opposite of what these liars tell us should have happened! Again, about 56 million years ago, during a period of about 100,000 years called the Eocene Thermal Maximum: temperature was likely higher than any time in the past 550 million years! But CO2 concentration had been on a downward track for the 100 million years leading up to that point. That is also not what was supposed to have happened according to the global warming liars. As for more recent examples: We learn from the ice core samples scientists have taken in Antarctica and Greenland that CO2 concentration rises after temperature rises. Those core samples tell us about the past few millions of years of fluxuating temperatures. The ice recorded the gasses in the atmosphere during the ice age. The core samples tell us about the back and forth cycles of long periods of cold followed by brief warmth then long cold again. What they reveal about CO2 is that first the temperature rises. Then, an average of 800 years later; the carbon dioxide level rises. This cycle has repeated 25 times over the past 2.5 million years. The cold periods called glaciations last approximately 90,000 years. They are separated by warm spells that last about 10,000 years. The CO2 goes up AFTER the warm spell starts. This indicates and proves that temperature rise is the CAUSE of CO2 rise, NOT the other way around. The temperature rise never comes after the CO2 rise. As the cold sets in for the next glaciation cycle; the CO2 concentration drops. It stays low during the 90,000 year cold intervals. It doesn’t go up until AFTER it warms again.

CO2 has played a major role in the history of life on this planet. 400 Million years ago there was a LOT of CO2 in our atmosphere. Plants started evolving and using it up big time. They began converting the carbon into lignin and combining it with cellulose to make strong stalks and wooden trunks for trees. Plants grew very tall as they reached for the sunlight and vast forests spread across the land. For 90 million years, as the trees died the trunks just piled up creating the great coal beds we mine today. Those happy go lucky plants and their vast forests just about depleted all the CO2 in the atmosphere and that would have ended all life on our planet. Then one day ‘white rot fungi’ evolved and produced enzymes that digested those dead trees. That brought the coal producing era to an end. Stupid fungus. But they also expelled CO2. Other CO2 expelling animals crawled out of the sea and evolved as well, but: if it weren’t for that fungus; mankind would never have evolved. It was much hotter 50 million years ago: an average of almost 30 degrees Fahrenheit hotter. Animals and plants grew huge and covered the world. So, don’t threaten me with global warming. There was no ice at the poles, back then and life flourished everywhere. Antarctica was a garden paradise. Next time some idiot says that a 2C rise, which equates to a lousy 3.6F, would cause mass extinctions and the destruction of civilization, tell them to shut the hell up. This planet started as a ball of molten rock. It’s been cooling for many millions of years. 30 million years ago glaciers began to form in Antarctica. Just 3 million years ago ice formed in the arctic circle. That was the beginning of the Pleistocene Ice Age that we are currently in. When they came up with the name, they said it ended 10,000 years ago. They were wrong. This ice age is alive and well. This planet is currently experiencing one of the coldest climates in it’s history. They don’t mention that much on your TV do they. The coming glaciation will last about 90,000 years and the northern ice cap will cover Canada and much of Northern Europe and Asia. That’s what they do. The glaciations are separated by warm periods that last about 10,000 years during which the ice melts and the oceans rise. The receding ice reveals vast expanses of land. Guess where we are now in this back and forth cycle of long cold glaciation periods separated by brief warm periods and eventually going back to long cold glaciation again. If you believe those warmista liars you’ll probably guess wrong. We are at the end of this 10,000 year warm period. It’s over. As a matter of fact we’re at year 10,500 of it. Guess what happened 500 years ago as if by clockwork. Hmm? They call it the ‘Little Ice Age.’ It started in the 1100s AD and ended in the mid 1800s. We are going into another long cold period right now. Winters have been getting progressively harsher with record breaking cold temperatures routinely being reported and record breaking snowfall. It has been reported in the news globally ever since Al Gore’s Convenient Lie film came out. It’s happening now as I write this and is going to get worse, far worse. This new ice age we’re going into may not be a ‘little ice age’ like the last one. It may very well be the big one that lasts about 90,000 years like the 25 glaciations before it. Either way; their lies about warming won’t stop the cold that’s coming.            And with it come the White Walkers. Game of Thrones reference? Anybody? I’m all alone here. But the warmistas point to the warming after the Little ice age ended in the late 1800s and they say we caused it! with our industrial revolution and our CO2 production burning coal and oil products and cows farting methane. They’re lying and they know it, or they certainly should. It’s not a secret. It’s history and science. It was much hotter before that ‘little ice age’ going back thousands of years during the iron age, the bronze age and the stone age before that. Mankind’s history as a walking erect, language speaking species is quite short compared to this planet’s long existence. Tales of the great floods as the ice melted are some of the earliest writings in existence. Lies about ‘global warming’ cannot change natural history and the cold that’s coming. If we COULD stop the next glaciation with carbon dioxide, it would be a miracle! We can’t because CO2 doesn’t do what they say it does. Greenhouse gasses can’t even slow down the coming ‘winter without end’ ahead of us. Global warming coming? It’s a lie. It’s not a mistake, it’s not a miscalculation, it’s not even a theory: it’s a lie. Or to be more specific: this warm period started over 10,000 years ago and ended about 3,000 years ago when it peaked and average temperatures have been falling.  You might want to ask: who came up with this scam? Well, remember ENRON? The smartest guys in the room? They had a scam going about sulfur dioxide: SO2. They called it acid rain. They used that scam to rip off Californians big time. They would just shut off people’s electricity to scare them into accepting higher utility bills. They had a cap and trade scam going and everything. Then, they started thinking out of the box and turned their attention to CO2 and went global with that scam. Mo money; mo money! Over in England; Margaret Thatcher went along with it. She was heavily invested in Nuclear Energy, so: she was willing to go along with anything that would slow down the competition from the coal mines.           She was really evil to those poor miners. Ya know; back in 2007 the IPCC admitted they didn’t know what they were talking about. They wrote: “we should recognize that we are dealing with a coupled nonlinear chaotic system, and therefore the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible.” Not possible for them to predict, maybe. The evidence is overwhelming clear for anyone that will look at earth history. They want us to be afraid of raising CO2 levels when what is really needed is far more of it! Even at today’s concentration of 400+ ppm; plants are relatively suffocating. The optimum level of CO2 for plant growth is about 4 or 5 times higher at 1500 to 2000 ppm. That would still be only 0.15 to 0.2% of our atmosphere. Still not green housey;  But, most plants love it that high and some even higher! Scientists in Australia, Germany and  North America tell us that we are currently witnessing an increase in plant life due to the higher levels of CO2 from our burning of the carbon based fuels.  What’s really interesting is that only half of the CO2 we are emitting is staying in the atmosphere. The rest is going into that increase in global plant biomass. They suck it up as fast as we can create it.

Originally the CO2 in our atmosphere was put there by outgassing from the Earth’s core during massive volcanic eruptions. But, during the past 150 million years there has not been enough addition of CO2 to the atmosphere to offset the gradual losses. Today, at just over 400 ppm, there are 850 billion tons of carbon as CO2 in our atmosphere. But, 500 million years ago, there was 17 times that: nearly 15 trillion tons of carbon in the atmosphere. But, that’s still less than 1% of our atmosphere! When modern life-forms evolved, they started sucking it up. About 280 million years ago the CO2 level dropped to about where we are now at about 400 PPM.  It has gone back up as high as 2000 PPM and dropped back down again when the current ice age went into full swing a few million years ago. That’s because CO2 concentration reacts to temperature change NOT the other way around, as I said. When it gets real cold, the concentration has dropped to as low as a 180 PPM. You may be wondering; “where does it go?” Well, sea water acts like a ballast for CO2, so; it mostly gets absorbed by the oceans. The oceans contain 38 trillion tons of carbon, as dissolved CO2. That’s 45 times as much as in the atmosphere.   But what’s really mind boggling! is the amount of carbon that has been sequestered from our atmosphere and turned into rocks! “What?” you gasp. That’s right; The vast majority of the CO2 that has ever been in our atmosphere has been turned into stone by marine species making shells! Those sneaky bastards evolved the ability to create armor-plating for themselves by combining carbon with calcium! IKR?

Those greedy, insensitive corals, snails, clams, crabs, oysters, lobsters; ALL those damned delicious critters have stolen 100 quadrillion tons of carbon by gobbling up all our CO2 and making shells out of it!  And that’s why we call them ‘shellfish.’ ... Because they shellfishly stole all that CO2 … I kill me!

When they die, ya see, their remains drop to the seabed and form carbonaceous rock; like limestone and chalk … and marble, oddly enough. In the process they have trapped 99.9% of all the carbon ever present in the global atmosphere! The White Cliffs of Dover, eg. are made of the calcium carbonate skeletons of tiny marine phytoplankton.  They’re gonna kill us all if they’re not stopped I tell ya! They’ve pulled 90% of the CO2 from our atmosphere just over the past 150 million years. Just 18,000 years ago, as the last glaciation was coming to an end, the CO2 in our atmosphere bottomed out at 180 ppm. That’s a very scary low amount! That’s probably the lowest concentration CO2 has ever been in our atmosphere in the history of this planet! That’s a dangerously low amount and that was just 18,000 years ago! Less than a blink of this planet’s eye during its lifetime. If it had dropped a mere 30 ppm lower, taking it down to 150 PPM; plants would have started dying en masse from suffocation! Soon after that: we animals would starve to death as well because plant life is at the bottom of the food chain! We humans are arguably at the top, though lions and crocodiles may rather aggressively argue that point; but I digress. What’s really crazy! about all this is that we humans have actually begun turning it around! by burning coal and oil! That’s right; I said it!  If you believe in divine intervention, here’s your chance to recognize! That CO2 locked up in coal was once in our atmosphere. We’re setting it free by burning it! We are feeding the plant life and they give it back to us by sacrificing themselves as salad. Not to mention they put out oxygen which makes us animals healthier. That’s right: we humans have been saving life on this planet, with our cars, diesel ships, planes, factories, coal fired power plants, rocket’s red glare; bombs bursting in air and BBQs!  About one-third of all us humans’ CO2 emissions have been discharged during the past 20 years. We’ve managed to increase the CO2 and we weren’t even trying to! That’s evolution, baby! Life on this planet needed something to happen to put CO2 back into the atmosphere and we came along with our industrial age just in the nick of time! But THOSE warmista bastards want us to think it’s a bad thing! They’re stealing money from us when they should be rewarding us! We should all be celebrating! We have been saving all life on this planet by reversing the loss of CO2! Are we dancing in the streets congratulating ourselves with fireworks and bon fires? No. We aren’t. They want us to stop saving the planet. If those fraudsters have it their way, CO2 levels will drop so low that we’ll all start dying off! Ok, you can stop panicking: If we need to, we can extract CO2 from the carbonaceous rock by converting it to lime. That’s how they make concrete. For that matter we can distill it from the sea water. The point is: we humans can save this planet if we can just get the warmistas to shut the hell up. We should aim for 2000 PPM CO2 right now! and watch the life on this planet get much better. That concentration will only be 0.2% of our atmosphere, but plants will be a heck of a lot healthier and produce far more oxygen and food in the rough times ahead during the next 90,000 or so years of ice. The truth about this planet is found in basic geology, archaeology, and European History. During the little ice age in Europe the river Thames iced over. The growing season was ruined and people starved. They were eating their own children. The rainy seasons started too soon and lasted too long. Glaciers were at their largest ever recorded.
