Oda wanted to ask if she was alright, but he already knew the answer. Shirusu would just smile and insist she was fine. She wasn’t. That much was obvious.

He was starting to hate those words: “I’m fine.”

“Hey,” he said, resting a hand on her shoulder. “If you ever want to just talk, I’m a great listener.”

Shirusu gave him a puzzled look, head tilting to the side. “What?”

“If you want to just talk about whatever is on your mind,” Oda said. “I’ll listen. I promise.” He was a great listener.

Shirusu’s puzzled look only deepened. She didn’t understand.

“What?” she repeated.

2: Quelles différences entre 音読み (onyomi) et 訓読み (kunyomi)

Bonjour !

Aujourd’hui, je vous présenter 音読み et 訓読み.

Quand j’ai fait le live d’instagram, j’ai eu cet question et je pouvais pas expliquer très bien, Alors je vous explique sur ici profonds.

D’abord,

音読み ; c’est lié de la Chine.

訓読み : c’est lié du Japon,

Si on peut imaginer facilment le sens quand on entends le kanji, c’est à lie du JAPON alros ça veut dire que 訓読み.

Au contraire, si c’est difficile d’imaguner quand on entends le kanji,c’est à lié de LA CHINE alors c’est 音読み.

Mais je crois que c’est un peu dur d’imqiner...

Alros. c’est plus facile de faire les exsicise !

ADA ends up in Shirusu’s house. Hilarity ensues

Shirusu hosts regular Tokusatsu shows/movie nights and everyone is invited. The reactions are wide and varied.

Namely, Chuuya shows up to every single one, no questions asked and How Dare Anyone Interrupt. It's very serious business.

Dazai shows up the most afterwards, mostly because of Chuuya, but also to poke holes in the flaw logic and to be shush by Shirusu and Chuuya.

Oda would like to show up more often but his kids have him utterly trapped by watching the shows with THEM instead. Sometimes though he can get all of them together to watch.

Ranpo thinks they're fun if very boring. The action is neat, the storyline is not.

Yosano is here for the kaiju movies only the kaiju movies.

Kunikida complains but secretly is adding a few of those moves into his fighting style. He absolutely has his own Sentai Pose.

Atsushi tries to show up as much as possible, but schoolwork makes that hard, plus he's living with Oda's kids so he's seen a bunch of episodes.

Kyouka and Fukuzawa show up the least, just due to timing issues primarily.

There is absolutely a ranking system over which series is better, how bad can it be and cosplay. So much cosplay. Shirusu has a goal to get everyone in the office into a sentai outfit and so help her, she will achieve this. Everyone meanwhile bickers over what color they would be.

Ya heard about mbti’s, what about enneagrams for Shirusu.

Also, I’m curious how other ADA members react to the truth about Shirusu other than the ones we saw on-screen like Kunikida, Yosano, etc.

-googles enneagrams- i legit got no idea what this but if this article is to believed, Shirusu is a Helper which is deeply ironic. Like I cannot even begin to describe how ironic this is.

As for how everyone reacted to the truth about Shirusu being from another world: with grace, dignity and acceptance.

Yosano: -thinking about how she would like to grab Shirusu by the shoulders and shake her because WHO hurt her-

Yosano: -dealing with the knowledge that even if she wanted kill and revive the one responsible for hurting Shirusu, they're in a whole another dimension-

Yosano: -outwardly- huh, that explains some things.

Fukuzawa: it's fine. -has heard weirder-

Kunikida: How accurate was my fictional self? Did he embody the ideals correctly?!

Tanizaki: That's... honestly a little scary? I'm a fictional character? How much do you know about me?

Shirusu: I arguably know the least about you, Tanizaki-kun.

Naomi: WAIT! THAT MEANS NII-SAN ISN'T A MAIN CHARACTER?!

Atsushi: wow i'm so important to Nee-san, I'm a main character!

Chuuya: so... like are you secretly some -waves-

Shirusu: some what...?

Chuuya: criminal hot-shot? Work for the yakuza? You realize you're kinda weird for getting involved with PM?

Shirusu: excuse me! -sputtering- You have Dazai to blame for that!

Shirusu: Everyone... is taking this a lot better than I thought they would.

Ranpo: You're in a world where Ability users are constantly breaking the suspension of disbelief. Atsushi turns into a tiger. Yosano can heal anyone from death. Chuuya can manipulate gravity. What makes you think we weren't going to believe you?

Shirusu: I mean... it's another dimension?

Ranpo: How is that any different going into one of Poe's books?

Shirusu: -opens mouth, closes mouth-

Ranpo: You would have saved yourself a lot of trouble if you had just come out with that.

Dazai: it's for the best she didn't though. PM would have kidnapped her.

Atsushi was getting taller.

The realization hit as Shirusu followed Atsushi up the stairs. His larger stride had him heading up the stairs at a faster pace than she, practically stepping two steps at a time. Everyone's coffee orders from downstairs held steady in his grasp.

He was growing, so it wasn’t really a surprise.

“Coffee!” Dazai cheerfully chirped as he opened the door, eagerly grabbing his cup from Atsushi’s carrier.

What was a surprise was that Atsushi and Dazai were now looking each other straight in the eyes.

It was...strange. In a good way. If Shirusu had to guess a potential consequence of rescuing Atsushi from the orphanage early, the idea that he was growing taller, taller than Dazai, was never one she would have considered. It wasn’t strange to consider, a healthier environment, proper food, and no longer suffering under the director’s abuse had Atsushi brimming with both confidence and energy.

“Careful, Dazai-san,” Atsushi gently scolded as he stepped into the office. The wide smile on his face betrayed any seriousness with his scolding.

“Need help, Shirusu-san?” Tanizaki asked as she crossed the threshold.

“I got it,” Shirusu said with a small smile, handing him his order.

He was going to have a heart attack. For someone who claimed to be normal and not interested in causing chaos, Shirusu always seemed to end up right in the thicket of things.

“Odasaku?” Dazai asked, looking at him curiously.

Oda sighed. “Shirusu-san is in trouble.”

“What,” Chuuya said flatly.

“Wait, she’s still around? Shibusawa’s fog is supposed to swallow any non-Ability Users,” Dazai said. He placed his hand to his chin, deep in thought. “Is it because she’s from another world? I supposed she might register as unusual in comparison. Our baseline isn’t her baseline.” He continued to mutter spinning theories before the full consequences of what Oda said hit him.

“Wait!” Dazai yelped, “What kind of trouble?!”

Just out of curiosity, what MBTI is Shirusu from pull out your pen and write down your memory is in your opinion?

Excellent question, anon! Never considered it before today.

Based on this chart, Shirusu is ISFJ.

And fits "warm, considerate, gentle, responsible, pragmatic, thorough. Devoted caretakers who enjoy being helpful to others" description.

It just... comes back to bite her. A lot. (It's a small wonder she hasn't shifted away from that.)

Shirusu jumped, startled by Natsume’s sudden transformation back.

Natsume leaned forward, his gaze growing sharper.

“As expected,” he said, “you’re not even surprised by my Ability. I’m aware of your ‘future’ knowledge in the form of a book you read from your original dimension, but you hadn’t mentioned anything about me. I wasn’t sure if you knew about my Ability.”

Well… considering Natsume’s only appearances in the series thus far had been either flashbacks or that brief section in the Cannibalism Arc, Shirusu hadn’t felt like it was worth mentioning. Natsume was still a character of considerable mystery, much like Dostoevsky. Just because Natsume was frequently mentioned and had shown up a couple times, Shirusu was in the dark as far as his motives and reasoning. Hell, she couldn’t even say she had a good grasp on his personality.

“You… show up like once?” she weakly explained as she got to her feet, brushing off her gray skirt and jacket.

Natsume harrumphed. He tapped his cane against the ground, casting his gaze out over the city, still blanketed in fog.

“You’re a strange girl,” he said. “Ruining my carefully maintained balance.”

Shirusu swallowed tightly. “What?”

Do you have any voice headcanons for Shirusu? As in, if Shirusu were to be voiced by a seiyuu, what best seiyuu do you would fit her? You can also include english voice headcanon as well.

I gotta level with you, anon, I'm *terrible* at VA/Seiyuus. I don't watch enough anime/pay enough attention to tell you quite honestly xD

Dazai blinked at the text message.

Ranpo: Go talk to her.

Talk to who? Shirusu? Couldn’t be Yosano because Dazai had left her office where Chuuya was still resting. He saw Haruno and the rest of the office staff carrying on with their paperwork. He stepped into the main office area and by the conference room, Ranpo was waiting.

“Ranpo-san?” Dazai asked.

Ranpo flashed him an irritated look. “I do not have the time nor the emotional capability for this.”

Uh… emotional capability? Dazai really hoped Ranpo wasn’t suggesting Dazai did.

“I will be blunt because I don’t have the time or patience and she doesn’t need that right now,” Ranpo continued. He slapped Dazai on the arm. “So tag, you’re it.”

He shoved Dazai into the room.

Chapter Text

“So what are we looking for today?” Oda asked.

Shirusu examined the carrot. “It’s starting to cool off,” she said. Autumn was here and there was a slight chill in the air. “So I was thinking of something simple as zosui today.”

She didn’t mention she was a little tired and didn’t want to spend too long in the supermarket today.

A simple, easy to cook meal sounded perfect and since zosui used a lot of leftovers, Shirusu was simply here to pick up the few ingredients that would make the meal a little more hearty. Also the beef was on sale here so that could be tomorrow night’s dinner.

Oda nodded and held out the basket he was holding onto for her to place the carrot in.

“Did you want to stay for dinner?” Shirusu asked. “I mean it’s just zosui-”

“I will never turn down your cooking,” Oda said.

Shirusu laughed lightly. “It’s not that special. I think your cooking is better.”

“You made it, Shirusu,” Oda said softly. “It tastes wonderful, even something as simple as zosui.”

Her cheeks burned as she ducked her head. “Is that so?”

So I just realized this but I’ve noticed that Shirusu doesn’t put much effort on finding a way home. Is there part of her that doesn’t want to go home because her home life is actually pretty bad?

“Why didn’t you go back to college?” Atsushi asked. “I know you didn’t have the proper paperwork being… you know.” ‘From another world’ he didn’t say.

He waved his hands, trying to grasp at the concept. “You say it all the time. You were an average, normal person before you came here. You had a normal life, one that wasn’t filled with Abilities and dealing with criminals like Port Mafia or all the other weird things. Why did you stay? Even if you did care for us and wanted to help you, why didn’t you return to the parts of your normal life, like going back to college?”

“I can’t,” Shirusu said instantly.

She sounded so sure, so confident. Atsushi didn’t know how she knew.

“Why not?” Atsushi asked.

“I can’t,” Shirusu said, frustrated. She blew out a breath. “I just… I can’t.”

“Ohanashi-san.”

Shirusu turned around.

Standing there was Akutagawa.

“Shirusu?” Oda said on the phone.

Shirusu swallowed tightly.

What was it about this scene? The moon in the backdrop and Akutagawa standing there, his features shadowed. Moonlight reflected in his eyes, a crawling sensation of danger.

Port Mafia’s Mad Dog.

“I gotta go,” Shirusu said into the phone.

“Don’t hang–”
