Day 3 @flufftober - “Wait you love me, I always have”
Shicca. Totally Canon divergent, maybe, idk lol just a quick ficlet.
Everything they set out to accomplish is complete and peace has been established throughout the cosmos. So, where do they go from here? Such questions continue to plague Shiki ever since they defeated all the villains, left mother, and returned to Rachel’s church on Miltz to celebrate. And tonight, a large ball is in full swing with all the friends and allies they’ve made in attendance, eating, drinking, and dancing the night away. Shiki couldn’t be more pleased.
When he left Granbell planet expecting to simply be Rebecca’s companion through her b-cubing adventures, neither foresaw fighting villains or leaping through time to save a universe. He also didn’t foresee… falling in love. Did he really know what love was when he first met Rebecca? Family love. Friendship love. Caring about others love. Those he understood. Romance? Nope. When the initial fuzzy feelings began, he had no idea what it meant.
But now he does.
With everyone enjoying theirselves, Shiki slips away to a balcony that overlooks the grounds of the opulent church. Now that the time functions are no more, the church will be disbanded and rebranded into something new in service of the cosmos. This means that Rebecca will be staying to help her family continue their mission of service.
As the Demon King, Shiki is also asked to continue the role of a protector in the intergalactic army, but has not yet responded. He sighs, and folds his arms on the railing, resting his chin on his forearms. He will always chose to protect, but he also doesn’t want to be separated from Rebecca or any of his friends for that matter.
Shiki hears footsteps and looks over to see Rebecca coming towards him.
“What are you doing here by yourself?” She questions. “Are you okay?”
Keeping his position resting on the balcony, “Yeah,” he smiles, “just thinking about some stuff.”
Rebecca joins him, resting her arms on the railing too. “Like what?”
“Just… tryin’ to decide what I want to do— you know, now that the mission’s over.”
“Ah,” Rebecca nods as she too looks out over the landscape. “I understand what you mean. Helping my mom is important to me, but part of me still feels like I’ll miss traveling.” She stands up straight and looks at Shiki. “Going on all the adventures and seeing all the places we’ve been together, it’s kinda sad for it to end.”
Shiki doesn’t respond immediately, simply staring out over the landscape to mull over her answer. It’s nice to know she feels similarly to him, and yet a shame. But does it have to end? He decides to throw caution to the wind. There’s only one way to make a decision, but he needs to know something first.
Shiki looks up to the sky as he speaks. “I’ll miss those too, but… have you ever… considered settling down and having what your parents have?”
“What my parents have? What do you mean?” She questions.
“You know, being married, having a kid…” Shiki stands up and faces Rebecca with a soft smile, “with the person you love.”
Rebecca’s face turns crimson. “Y-Yes, I have— I think every little girls dreams of that.”
He closes the two-step distance and takes her hand. “Me, too,” he smiles, “with you. One, maybe two kids. We could do a family show on your B-Cube channel, what do you say?”
Her eyes flash wide. “Wait! You love me?!”
“I always have.” Shiki chuckles. “I may not have always realized it, but now I do for sure. Rebecca, I’ve loved you since we met and want to spend the rest of our days growing old together.”
Moisture gathers as Rebecca’s eyes crinkle in a smile. “I love you, and wanna be with you too, Shiki.”
With that confirmation, Shiki swoops in and kisses Rebecca firmly while wrapping her in his arms. It takes her by surprise, but only nanoseconds to respond in-kind, sealing the pressure of their lips together in a heated exchange. Lingering seconds before releasing, he keeps physical contact by resting his forehead against hers. They stay like that relishing in the heat of the moment until a chorus of voices ring out in a mixture of ooh’s and ahh’s, hooting and congratulatory hollering startle them. They break apart and turn to the sounds to find the whole ballroom of guests staring at them.
Rachel and Connor are standing front and center, hand in hand, beaming. “We were wondering when you two would figure it out.”
Shiki and Rebecca’s cheeks bloom red as she protests the embarrassment. “MOM!”
Rachel chuckles as she and Conner walk up to the couple. She hugs her daughter. “I’m so blessed to have you here, and thankful you found someone special.”
Then Conner cuts in, placing a hand on Shiki’s shoulder. “I know ye’ll take good care of our Rebecca. We couldn’t have asked for a better son-in-law.”
The young couple exchange looks mixed of embarrassment, elation, and content before thanking her parents. Then suddenly, Shiki grins and scoops Rebecca up in a bridal carry. “Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have some future planning to discuss.”
“Discuss?” Rebecca squeaks from the surprise.
Shiki’s grin grows mischievously heated. “Discuss.” He repeats and takes to the air, heading for their quarters. Oh yes, they have much to talk about…

Am I missing something? Why is there so little Shicca fics, like, anywhere??? Where are y’all hiding it? Even AO3 has betrayed me. This is so weird since the manga has been going on for so long already and there seems to be big enough fandom gatheted around it. So where’s all the fics?
So sorry Anon for the late response! I’ve been dealing with some things lately…
Tbh I don’t know exactly why there’s so little shicca fics around. There could be many reasons. It may seem like there’s a fairly large fandom, many of whom have moved over from Mashima’s previous series like Fairytail, plus for ranking systems out there, it’s just difficult to ascertain how accurate they are. From western rankings I tend to see an either love it or hate it reaction. In terms of Japanese fans, the response seems to be of just an average series. According to my Japanese friends and family, Mashima’s works are less popular there than in the west.
One issue I’ve heard about is the direction Mashima is taking with Edens zero compared to Fairytail or Rave Master. Many fans are being turned off by the darker direction. For instance, in Fairytail he didn’t truly kill any character whereas in Edens zero, he is (Personally I was upset when he killed off Creed). Another issue many western fans have is the amount of unnecessary racy, sexually explicit behaviors/appearances. All the time jumping, time traveling is also frustrating at times to follow along. The space genre may not be as interesting for people as well.
Last reason I can think of is the canon space genre. Sure writers could do AU stories with Shicca, but if they’re not comfortable doing AU’s and rather stick to canon world, but then don’t like the space genre, then they may choose not to write the ship at all.
My personal opinion is, while I think Shicca is a cute ship, there’s also nothing interesting to me that makes me want to write about them 😅. With the mashima fandoms, I started with Fairytail, then read Rave Master, then now Edens Zero. I think for me, once I became comfortable writing for the Nalu ship first, because Shicca is so similar in terms of personalities, they weren’t interesting anymore and I stick to what I’m comfortable with.
It’s possible that it’s been a slow go for fan fic or art creations despite the manga being out almost 4 years now, but over time as the series goes on, hopefully more fans find it and things start to pick up 😊

Pairing: Shicca **Short comfort fic to destress after a long day.
Wiping the sweat off of his forehead, the dark-haired boy sighed in relief. He was finally able to go home after a long day at work. Shiki grabbed his bag and practically ran out of the shop, eager to spend time with his lovely girlfriend. When he finally reached their home, his heart dropped at the sight. Rebecca was sitting on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket with tissues in her hand. Her eyes were red and puffy and tear streaks was evident on her cheeks.
Shiki dropped his bag and immediately ran over to the couch to sit beside her. “Rebecca, what’s wrong?”
Rebecca sniffled and blew her nose into a tissue. “I-I’ve... been getting a lot of hate lately.”
Shiki’s eyes darkened and his fist clenched, he was ready to beat up anyone who made his girl cry. “From who?”
“This youtuber called Labilia accused me of copying of her content. Her fans have been sending me hateful messages. I-I thought I could take it, but some of them are sending me death threats,” Rebecca explained, pointing at the laptop on the coffee table. Tears started to pool into her eyes again.
“What the hell!” Shiki snarled, grabbing the laptop. He scrolled through the hateful comments on her latest video. Shiki was seething with rage. Rebecca didn’t deserve any of this. He wanted to scream at this Labilia girl. Sending her fans after Rebecca was unprofessional and sickening, and the fans who eagerly sent the hate were just as horrible. However, he was glad to see Rebecca’s fans jumping to her defense.
“What a bitch. You’ve never copied anyone! How could she do that to you?” Shiki growled, slamming his fist on the table.
Rebecca wiped away some of the tears forming in her eyes. “It’s not like the videos she posts are completely original. I don’t know why she hates me.”
Shiki closed the laptop and put it back on the table. He was angry, but Rebecca needed him right now. He also didn’t want to do anything in the heat of the moment that could damage her reputation.
“She probably feels threatened by your rising popularity,” Shiki inferred, turning to face Rebecca. He pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her tightly.
“You’re amazing, Rebecca. Don’t ever forget that. You are talented, creative, and absolutely beautiful,” Shiki assured, gently stroking her hair.
Rebecca smiled and nuzzled into his neck, sighing contently. “Thank you, Shiki. I love you so much!”
“I love you too!” Shiki planted a kiss on the top of her head.
“I don’t know what I would do without you,” Rebecca whispered, clutching his shirt.
Shiki kissed her head again. “Stay off social media for a few days and don’t worry about recording a new video. You need a break from all of this negativity.”
“But I don’t want to make my subscribers wait,” Rebecca protested.
“They’ll understand. We’re going to do something fun together to get your mind off of this!” Shiki exclaimed. He cupped her cheek, wiped away any lingering tears with his thumb, and kissed her sweetly.
Rebecca softly giggled. “You always know how to make me feel better!”
Shiki winked. “Want to play Mario Party?”
“Sure! I’m going to beat you,” Rebecca declared, causing Shiki to laugh.
“We’ll see about that,” Shiki responded, grabbing the Switch controllers. He tossed the other controller to Rebecca, feeling happy to see her get excited. He hated seeing her upset. People could be so awful. He decided to block any haters sending her DMs on her social media. He hoped that Labilia’s toxic fans would get bored and leave her alone soon. If not, then he would intervene. For now, he just wanted to focus on making Rebecca feel better.
After a fun night of playing Mario Party and eating pizza, Shiki felt Rebecca leaning against his shoulder. He turned his head to see that she had dozed off. Smiling at the adorable sight, Shiki exited the game and turned off the console. He picked up Rebecca bridal style and carried her to their bedroom.
Shiki gently placed her onto the bed and covered her with the blanket. He brushed away some some stray hair that was stuck on side of her face and leaned down to plant a chaste kiss on her lips. He changed into his pajamas and laid down on the bed, wrapping his arms around his beloved girlfriend.
“Huh? Did I fall asleep?” Rebecca asked and yawned.
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you up,” Shiki apologized.
“It’s okay,” Rebecca closed her eyes and smiled.
“Good night. I love you,” Shiki whispered.
“I love you too. Always will. Just knowing that you’re by my side, makes me feel safe,” Rebecca responded, snuggling into him.
Shiki kissed her forehead and closed his eyes, feeling content that he was able to cheer her up. Her happiness meant the world to him, and he would do whatever it takes that keep that beautiful smile on her face.

@imjustheretoseetheprivateblogs I saw your comment and although the hauntober prompts have been filled, this was the first shicca request, and technically there was still the 31st open so...
Inspired by Mashima’s Halloween shicca art:
Ever since her 18th birthday, Rebecca hated full moons. She still remembered that day perfectly as she screamed at her mother. Why didn’t you tell me?! Her mother was human, but her father whom she’d never met, had been a werecat. All the woman could say between the sobs were I’m sorry... sorry she didn’t know... sorry they didn’t know if she’d inherit the genes. Well she had, and now two years later it was still a struggle to keep living.
Everything had changed after that moment. Future goals of college, gone. A career in advertising, indefinite hold. It was difficult to find good jobs that would give her the day off every month, on a specific day, no fail because she couldn’t risk changing in front of humans. And relationships? Pfft. No way would she do what her father did to her mother, and certainly not bring a child into this world to struggle too.
She had a few friends, but none that knew about being a werecat. They just assumed Rebecca had a quirk about full moons and left it at that. Ugh! She really missed being able to socialize with people! In high school, she was popular, bubbly, a cheerleader with tons of friends. She’d dreamed of getting into advertising, maybe even becoming a social media influencer or something fun like that! Now, her life was mostly anonymous, still online, but holed up in her apartment unless she had to work. It was simply too scary to get close to people and hurt or be hurt by the sting of rejection.
Of course, the one Halloween she could have gone out despite the full moon, had to happen during a damn pandemic! All social gatherings were against the law in their city, so— no parties. Rebecca was so distraught that she’d ditched her apartment for the night and found her way to a high bluff deep in the woods, where in the far distance you could see the faint lights of the next town over. It really was a beautiful spot, quiet, serene, and perhaps because animals could sense her supernatural blood, nothing every bothered her out here.
Rebecca looks up at the large bright moon and gives it the middle finger, before pulling her legs up and wrapping her arms around them. She rests her chin on her knees. Is this really how she’ll spend the rest of her life? Miserable and alone? Maybe she should just move to some cabin way out here in the middle of nowhere...
Her ears flick back at a soft rustling sound coming from behind her. Probably just a squirrel or something... But wait?! Her nose picks up an unusual scent. Human and canine mixed together. All her extraordinary senses go on heightened alert and every hair stands up along her feline arms. Rebecca leaps to her feet, turning around just as the rustling sound stops.
A large male lands just three feet in front of her. “Hi!!”
‘Hi?!’ Rebecca’s tail flicks in irritation and her claws extended, ready for defense. “W-who are you?!” She asks the stranger. Wasn’t he scared to see a weird cat girl in the middle of a forest?! Then again, this male wasn’t exactly normal either... “What are you?”
“Name’s Shiki,” he grins, “and I’m just like you, sort of,” his head tilts as his nose sniffs the air. “Except you’re a cat and I’m a dog. Wanna be my friend?!”
Was this guy serious?! He seemed so relaxed about everything. Taller, broader in chest, and while she still held onto some human features after the change, this male was much more wolf-like in appearance. “Um. I’m Rebecca. How are you so happy? Don’t you hate being like, um a werewolf?”
“Doesn’t bother me,” he shrugs and plops down into a cross legged position. “My mom and grandpa are werewolves too, so it’s just part of the family. What about you?”
“I hate it.”
“Why?”
“Why?! Because it ruined my life, that’s why! I mean look at me! I have to hide away this ugly body from the world,” Rebecca gestures wildly at the sky, “because of that stupid full moon!”
“I don’t see an ugly body. You have a nice body.”
“What?” Her arms drop instantly but cross against her chest. She didn’t want to call him an idiot, but their definitions of beauty differed. “Where exactly are you from, Shiki, was it?”
“That town way over there,” he points to the lights.
“But that’s 15 miles away! Do you normally travel this far on these nights?”
“Not really, but two months ago I picked up on your scent and was curious to see who you were. There’s not many of us Werepeople around so I was surprised to find another so close by,” he grins, “and a pretty girl at that. Must be my lucky moon.”
This time Rebecca couldn’t hide the blush that steals away on her cheeks. Twice this guy had complimented her appearance, but she just wasn’t used to hearing such things. She’d been so focused on the loss of her human life that she targeted all of her hate and anger towards this body, which wasn’t as ugly as she wanted to believe. Plus, calling herself ugly meant she had to call Shiki ugly too and for a werewolf, he wasn’t all that bad looking. Perhaps...
Her voice softened, hesitant but hopeful, while her eyes glance towards the ground. “You really think so?”
“Heck yeah!” He bounces to his feet and grabs her hands, tail wagging like the happiest puppy in the world! “You should come meet my family! They’ll so love you!”
Rebecca’s eyes pop open wide. “N-Now?!” But, it’s late and she works in the morning, and...
“Why not?” He scoops her up against his chest. “15 minutes tops! Hold on!”
Rebecca squeals and quickly wraps her arms around his neck, gripping to the collar of his shirt as his powerful hind legs leap from the cliff. “Shiki!!! Are you crazy?!” They barely just met! And okay, it was awesome to meet someone else like her, but how did she know he wasn’t some crazed killer? How was he so sure she could trusted?
When he hits the forest floor below, he looks down at Rebecca with the widest, brightest smile to rival the moon itself that sent heart leaping. “Trust me.”
And so, she did...

Prompt: Shicca; Shiki having a nightmare, remembering his own death on World No. 29, and Rebecca trying to comfort him
Whipped it up real quick. Here you go
‘What the?’ Rebecca wakes up in a start as soon as she realizes her body was no longer in bed, but floating?! Did the ships gravitational setting break or turn off, or, ‘is it Shiki?’ She pulls herself along the ceiling, walls, anything she can use to propel herself easier to make it from her room to his next door. Surprisingly, no one else had been alerted yet.
Once Rebecca enters, she can clearly see Shiki on his own bed, but still asleep, and in the midst of a bad dream. He must be using his gravity ether in his sleep! Purple lighting covered his body as he fought an unseen enemy and that was not good! Shiki could blow a hole in the ship and do a lot of damage if he wasn’t controlled.
She springboards herself down from the ceiling and grabs hold of his bed to keep her there. Now what? If she startled him up awake he just might set of an explosion. So, Rebecca reaches out and caresses Shiki’s face, lovingly and gently sweeping her thumb against his cheek to pull his unconscious mind away from the dream situation and onto her physical touch. “Shhh,” she coos in a soft tone. “Wake up Shiki... wake up...” Slowly the dancing purple lights dim and burn out as his body goes from tense to semi-relaxed. Not yet awake, but his mind was tricked into switching dream scenes. And as he calms down, gravity returns to normal in the room.
Rebecca let’s out an exhale in relief. Things are back to normal and Shiki is still asleep. No harm, no foul, crisis averted. She tucks the blankets back over him and turns to leave.
“Becca? What are you doing in my room?”
Shiki’s unexpected voice startles her. She turns around. “I came to check on you because you were having a nightmare.”
“I was?” He sits up, his groggy mind struggles to process things. What little he could still remember from the dream is distorted and fuzzy, choppy like a staticky video screen. “Maybe? I barely know what I was dreaming.”
She moves back close to keep her voice down. “What do you remember?”
“Drakken was there. Um, we were all there.” His brows furrow in concentration. “Yeah. I think we were kneeling down cause we’d been captured...” but the deeper he delved back into the nightmare, the stronger the images or rather the emotions swept back over him. “I-It must just be a dream, cause it’s not how it all happened.”
“What do you mean?” Rebecca questions, though she had a pretty good idea where Shiki was going with this.
“I got shot in the head, then everything was going dark till the next thing I know, it switches to you and I on Red Cave playing in the water again. That’s such a weird dream. Wait,” he looks dead straight at Rebecca, “it was a dream? Right?” He knew about world 29, but she’d never told any of them exactly what happened before she leapt through time. “Had I died?!”
“Y-you might be getting images of your other lives.” She takes a seat beside him. “I don’t know how this all works, but maybe in your sleep it came through.”
“But did I die Becca? What I saw really happened?!” She silently nods her head. “Wow,” Shiki slumps a little. “I knew it had been bad enough to trigger your ether but that... that’s... I could be dead right now and that’s rattling me.”
Rebecca hugs him. “I didn’t wanna tell you what happened because we got a second chance. It’s not— worth dwelling on too much.”
“I just never considered it would ever really happen.”
“What’s important is you’re still here Shiki.” She pulls his face towards her, cradled between her palms. “We made it though that, and it’s over now so don’t be getting all sad on me.” Rebecca’s eyes crinkle and she changes her tone, “show me my Shiki’s smile. Where’s my Shiki’s smile?” Her childish voice and brightened eyes pulls out his smile. “There’s the smile we love!”
“Will you stay with me, in case the dream comes back?”
Rebecca flushes and sputters, “s-sure, if it makes you feel better.”
“Yay!” He quickly scoops her up and puts her on her side next to him, then cuddled down with his arms around her waist. “Comfy?”
‘No!’ “I’m fine.”
He pulls the blankets around her too and settles in. “Nite, Becca.”
She chuckles, “goodnight, Shiki.” This boy will be the death of her.

Something in Common
Based on an idea I got from this post that I just felt like writing after chatting with @bmarvels about it lol. It was written directly on Tumblr so please ignore any grammar mistakes 😅
Nalu/Shicca one shot crossover
🔸🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹
“You’re not gonna leave, huh?” The annoyed blonde sighs. “Try not to make a mess while I take a bath please.”
Natsu rolls his eyes, of course, he wasn’t planning to. “I’m just gonna watch some lacrimavision. How much trouble can I get in doing that?”
“Shall I remind you what happened with my last lacrimavision set?”
“No,” he slumps his shoulders. It was an accident, but she still held it against him. “I’ll behave.”
“Good.” Lucy walks away having won that round.
She’d been dying to try out a bath bomb set Cana had given her at the Holiday party. It would have been more relaxing if she was home alone, but those times were few and far between with a certain slayer practically living with her.
Once safely behind her locked bathroom door, Lucy opens up the packaging that held four colorful balls. She grabs a pinkish colored one and places the rest on the counter, then holds it close to her nose to take a whiff.
It smelled divine! Rose, Sakura, and Vanilla all mixed together in a perfect floral blend. Not overpowering like some parfums can be. It was natural, herbal in a way, and reminded her of the natural hot springs they found on True Island. Relaxing with all the girls had been so much fun. ‘I hope we’ll all see each other again...’
Lucy turns on the faucet and waits for the tub to fill with water. While she waits, she strips off her clothes and winds her hair up into a messy bun. She tests the waters periodically to make sure it’s not too hot.
As soon as the tub is half full she drops the bomb in and immediately it begins to foam. It was so pretty! And cool to watch, for the bubbling action was full of churning shades of reds, then purples, and yellows. ‘How curious,’ she wonders. The outside was only reds and white but perhaps inside were other colors.
No matter, as the scent remains the same. It’s beautiful notes filling the room, clinging to the vapors and sticking to her hair. Such a neat little bath bomb, she’ll have to ask Cana where she got them from. Lucy shuts off the water as it nears the 3/4 mark on the tub. It was time to soak and send her aches and pains to another realm.
She places one foot into the steaming waters. How interesting, it tingles, like the tickling feeling you get on your nose when you’re drinking a carbonated drink. She steps all the way inside ready to submerge herself into the aromatic cocktail.
When in a flash, the waters begin to churn on their own! Swirling into a small whirlpool. Lucy tries to get out but it’s sucking her in. “Natsu!!” She cries out once before darkness swallows her whole.
The slayer looks up from the couch towards the bedroom. “Lucy?” He’d heard the scream loud and clear, but only the one. Had she seen a bug again? He walks into the room and knocks on the bathroom door, checking the knob but finding it locked.
“Lucy are you okay in there?” Seconds tick by and with each passing his level of concern heightens. “Lucy?!” He bangs louder on the door. “Answer me!!”
But there was nothing except a deadly silence coming from within. Screw it, if she got mad about the door, he’ll fix it later. Natsu smashes it off it’s hinges and rushes inside. “Lucy?” The room was empty! Just a haze of steam to greet him and a tub full of purplish pink water as still as a grave. Even the small window in the room was closed. How did the woman disappear?! Had she drowned?!
Without thinking, he jumps into the tub ready to scan the murky water. As soon as both legs make contact, it begins to churn. Natsu leaps up to get out, but the water grabs hold of his legs and pulls him back down. “What the fu...”
Darkness envelops him so suddenly, he has no idea what just happened. He tries to light up his hands to give him some light, but nothing happens. All he can feel is a sense of weightless falling. Did a wizard just cast a spell on them?!
When Lucy tries to open her eyes, the light surrounding her seemed so bright compared to the pitch black ink she’d been falling through a moment ago. She blinks a few times to clear the gaze and allow her vision to correct itself. Wherever she was, she could feel water surrounding her lower body again. Was it a dream and she just woke up back in her tub? Her eyes find purchase once more, but what she saw stunned her.
And just as she was about to open her mouth to address the situation, Natsu appears out of thin air sitting beside her. He was flailing or fighting against an unseen foe. She grabs his arms. “Natsu, calm down!”
The man stops immediately. “Lucy?!” He couldn’t fully see her because his vision was still messed up, but her scent was recognizable. “Lucy!” He throws his arms around her. “I was so worried!”
“M-Me too,” she squeaks out from his tight hold.
“Ahem.”
A throat clearing gets their attention. Lucy pushes Natsu off of her. By now his eye sight was fully back to normal and his face turns crimson. That’s when she remembers... she was naked. Lucy covers her chest. “Look away you pervert!”
“Excuse me?” The voice starts up again. “Where did you come from?!”
Now that he knew Lucy was safe and sound, Natsu turns to the voice. He recognizes the person immediately. “Rebecca?!” He looks excitedly to Lucy, “hey it’s our space friend!”
“I can see that,” she mumbles back. “Though I don’t understand how we got here.”
“Do you?” Natsu asks the stunned B-cuber who shakes her head no.
“You tell me,” Rebecca quips. “You’re the one who dropped in on my bath.”
“Wait, does that mean we’re on that ship you told us about?” Lucy questions the other woman.
“Yeah.”
Lucy looks at Natsu, “I-I think that bath bomb created a magical portal.”
“But why would it bring us here?”
The only answer Lucy could think of was her wish shortly before getting into the bath. “I was reminiscing about True Island and relaxing with just the girls... I guess I missed it.”
“Awww,” Rebecca squeals, “I think about that too!”
“Really?! With you and Elie, it was just nice cause we have a lot in common,” Lucy thumbs at the man sitting beside her, “the guys.”
Rebecca giggles, “so true.”
Natsu just narrows his eyes at the two giggling women. Tch figures they talk about them. “I hate to break up this reunion, but how are we supposed to get home?”
At that moment, a loud bang startles the three. They all turn to the door that’s been flung open, staring at the newcomer.
“Rebecca are you okay? I heard you scream!” Shiki pans over the room. “Wait a minute, how did...” a smile taking over his expression, “it’s the Fairy friends!” The excited man jumps into the bath, gaining another shriek from everyone when a wave of water hits them.
“Shiki?! Your clothes!”
“Huh?” He looks down, “should I take them off?” He asks already tugging at his shirt.
“N-No!” A blushing Rebecca grabs his arm and just pulls him into a sitting position. “Just sit!”
Lucy giggles, “see! Things in common. But Natsu’s right, we need to figure out a way home.”
“Awww! But you guys just got here!” Shiki whines.
“Hush, you,” Rebecca scolds him. “I’m sure they have things to do back home.” She smiles at their friends. “We can drop you off on your planet.”
“Well...” Lucy looks to Natsu. “I guess a short vacation wouldn’t be such a bad thing.”
Shiki leans forward excitedly, “you guys can hang with us till we finish this mission! It’ll be fun!”
“A mission?!” Natsu grins. “Do I get to kick some ass?!”
“Hell yeah!” Shiki grins too.
Rebecca chuckles. “Meanwhile, Lucy and I can hang out. Starting now.” She looks at Shiki and Natsu. “Get out of our bath!”
“Eep!” The two men stiffen at the sound of her shrill tone. No one needed to tell them twice. Both Shiki and Natsu jump up and rush out of the room leaving the two women alone again.
Rebecca winks at Lucy, “let the relaxation commence!”
