Since I got a simple Halloween cloak, a fancy trim is needed to make it extra special! Hope to take pictures when the holiday gets near.

I can finally show this off! A local quilt club I was in hosted a Crumb Quilt Challenge & I entered a crumb quilt inspired vest garment. I didn’t win, but honestly the true prize is the experience.
Heading off to the club’s Christmas potluck wearing this number! 😁

Currently making cord wraps this morning. They can also go for as simple, quick decorations for lamps like this.

Any kind of fabric, sew-on Velcro. Some quilting here and there.

Currently attempting to upcycle a too small buttoned-up shirt into a bigger layering vest. The sleeves are repurposed as panels for the sides, soon to be sewn together. We shall see how it goes…

Give me all of your standard sized bandannas & I will turn them into 4-patchwork headwear/neckwear! This is the same accessory btw.

First attempt to make oven mitts from a fabric panel & it’s not bad. With the apron to match, I’m a bit more festive this Halloween. 🎃 Also, before anyone can point out, yes, I do need a haircut. 😆

Fun fact: A couple of years ago was my first attempt to make an apron from a fabric panel & made a green bandana to match. Low-key costuming for the win!

‪Preparations are complete (with exception of a drawstring sack for the belt) and ready for the festival tomorrow! It’s a good thing I kept a certain fabric for the bandana. A little secret about the eye patch is that the plastic one serves as an interfacing for this. ‬

‪Getting back into Pixel Patchworks with a warm up exercise of making a couple of eighth notes. I’m really glad there’s an efficient way to get all blocks cut without cutting every single pixel. Please enjoy the WIPs as well! 😊

‪Turns out I was missing a fifth petal to make the balls more circular (as seen with ball on right). I’ll know that for next time. It depends how many petals & the size for each petal in the ball’s form. Ball on left was made of 4 larger petals vs the 5 smaller petals on right. ‬

‪So, I accidentally made some fabric egg balls. Not really circular. 😆 They are at least functional for my little nephew to play with and the shape will be interesting to him. Learning experience is all that matters. ‬

‪From the last post if you guessed Link from the very first Legend of Zelda, then you are right. Kicking back old school gaming sprites! I was very fortunate that I got the perfect color fabric for this. ‬

‪The Link Pixel Patchwork was lonely, so I figured I can make a patchwork of Zelda as well. Gotta love that dress! ❤️‬

‪One of my pants got a makeover. Not only I will not expect a flood (a saying when you wear not really Capri pants because of your height) but I will also not have to worry about having fake pockets. Simply you can sew your own! 👍‬

‪I just made some Mesh Bags! Useful for carrying things to the beach sand-less and or organizing the lights and the darks the day before laundry.
Mesh is an intriguing fabric to work with. ‬

‪The famous pixelated T-Rex we all know and loved, while trying to get to the Internet when Airplane Mode is on. 😆
Happens to me a few times and brought me inspiration for the next pixel patchwork project. A practice one and seeing that doing big chucks saves time and effort. 👍‬

‪Still a WIP, but holy smokes a breakthrough! I can now do pixel patchworks a little faster than before. What would take me a month only now takes me about two weeks.
A triceratops pixel sprite from the game Super Amazing Wagon Adventure: The Wild, Wild Weird. ‬
