“I look ridiculous!” Serena exclaimed as she looked into the mirror. Betsy and Kelly were helping her get ready for the wedding.
Betsy sighed, “S, you look fine.” That only ended up making Serena’s blood boil, crumbling her fists. Serena turned around in fury, “Fine? Fine! Fine? Fiiiiiiineee!” She yelled, making Kelly and Betsy’s eyes widen. Never been more glad to not believe in marriage. Betsy thought.
Serena scoffed, “I don’t want fine! I want flashing! Flashing! Fla—“ Kelly cut her off, “Flashing. Yes, I know.” She shook her head, "S, you look gorgeous. And when Trevor sees you, he won’t notice any other women in the room." That cracked a smile out of Serena. “Thank you.”
"Auntie ‘Rena?" Serena turned around to see little Jonah holding out a flower. "Awwww." She lifted the five year old boy into her arms. "Thank you honey." The brunette exhaled, "I can do this. Time to go get married."

My main T9S opinions
-I’m a full time Nikki, Gwen, & Jay stan and want them all to be happy.
-I also like Leia and Sherri but they’re not my faves.
-I love Red and Kitty as characters, but that doesn’t mean I support the actors who play them.
-Nate gets on my nerves a lot but I don’t really hate him per se. I just think he needs to grow up.
-Ozzie is my least favorite out of the main kids
-Serena and Trevor were amazing guest characters that deserved more than to be used as a plot device

“Ha! I win again!” Serena jumped when hitting a strike. She and Trevor were playing in the bowling alley together. So far it was 39 - 39 and they had been in a tie for several minutes until now.
Trevor playfully groaned, “Damn it! At least not I know who not play against in the field.” He loved hanging out with Serena, whether it was playing sports, getting ice cream, or hanging out.”
Serena smirked, “There really was no way to win this." That earned a chuckle out of Trevor. “Cocky much?” He teased. “Always.” Serena responded, equally as playful. She chuckled softly, gazing into eyes. She couldn’t help but get lost in them. The way they were so beautiful and brown. How shiny they were.
Trevor moved in closer, staring back at Serena. She was so beautiful. Easily the most beautiful woman to exist. Her chestnut brown hair, her dark brown eyes. And her lips looked so…full and soft.
Serena also moved closer, meeting halfway. Their lips went in closer, about to kiss until…
*whistles*
The pair sighed, turning to see Darline and Lydia standing right near them. “As sweet as this is, there are other people waiting for their turn. So if you guys are done then…”
Serena smiled, looking at Trevor. He nodded in agreement and turn back at the couple. “We’re done.” The athletes replied in unison.

Serena: Oh fuck! There’s tons of people there. What do we do?
Kelly: I have one of my nuclear balls. I just need to throw on the ground, everyone will faint, and then grab the stereo.
*Betsy and Serena looked appalled at Kelly’s suggestion*
Kelly (scoffs): Fine, if you want to be basic then
Betsy (smiling): I got an idea. Wait here.
*She ran up to the front of the stage*
Jake: And studies show th-
Betsy: Sorry Jacob. But I need the mic and the stage. Now.
*Jake walked off, looking confused*
Betsy (yelling): Attention please!
Donna, to Kelso: Is that Betsy?
Betsy: So there has been a chemical…uh you guys should probably run.
*Hyde and Jackie just looked confused*
Betsy: If you guys won’t leave, I’m taking my top off…with the bra!
Kelso (horrified): No, she won’t be doing that!
Kelso (mouths to Betsy): What are you doing?
Betsy (mouths to Kelso): Helping a friend.
Betsy: The offer still stands.
Kelso: No, it doesn’t and if you so much as ever beg, I’ll shoot you with my gun until you die!

I have some headcanons here. But basically, Serena is a very confident woman who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. She doesn’t exactly have the best track record with men and has gotten burned until Trevor. But that doesn’t stop her from putting herself out there. She stays at her mom’s house for one week and her dad’s for the week after and repeat. They both love and adore her and would always be by her side. Despite growing up an only child, she’s never felt like one because Kelly and Betsy were like her sisters. Serena works super hard and very serious when it comes to soccer and won’t let anyone’s (*cough* Ryland) sexist opinions on girls playing sports deter her from her.

-she's a soccer pro and wants to be a soccer player in the WPSL
-she doesn't exactly have the best track record with men (being the backup sort of thing)
-she’s had a crush on Jay since middle school and despite her other crushes, he was her one obsession
-similar to Betsy, she’s super confident and outgoing
-she loves Kelly and Betsy like they’re her sisters
-she always tries to stop her grandma from coming onto minors but it never works
-losing her grandfather was really hard on her since they had such a close bond
-her parents are divorced so she goes back and forth with staying at her mom and dad’s house
-they got divorced when she was 12 years old
-it was hard on her at first but eventually knew that their love for her would never change
-on one of her dates with Trevor, he’d give her his jacket and she’d wear it every day
-she has a great relationship with her teammates as well (except for Jo lol)
-she’s always hated Ryland but him stealing the clothes from the girls’ locker room along with being a terrible bf to Kelly made him enemy no. 1 to her

Saw @einsteinsugly’s post about the kids from her verse and I kinda wanna do mine.
Layla Quinn Kelso - She's very kind and sweet but gets vicious on Halloween. (her and Betsy have a yearly prank off)
Trevor Nicholas Canton - Confident and self assured. He's also very smart and gets straight A's in school. He's basically what Finn Hudson tried to be but failed miserably. He's also on the football team.
Alisha Amira Callesti - Kind, intelligent, and minds her business. Despite being Jo's best friend, she doesn't agree to her meanness and ways of torture and does the right thing by them.
Jared Michael Kwan - He's a very reserved and introverted person despite being besties with the very extroverted Jo Mitchell. He loves being on the computer and playing video games with his friends. Similar to Alisha, he doesn't agree with Jo's methods of torture. He's also a very loyal person to the people he cares about.
Joanna "Jo" Star Mitchell - She's a lot similar to Jackie, being like a 'queen bee with a heart of gold'. She cares a lot of about what people think of her and tries to maintain a certain image of having this shiny, lavish, and rich life. But she has a lot of pain, anger, and resentment deep down that she doesn't show.
Ryland Clifford Barnes - He's basically early seasons Kelso and Nate, except with little to no redeeming qualities. He acts like some sort of god but is really just an arrogant douchebag. He's a terrible boyfriend and has no qualms about having sex with other women, despite being with Kelly. He also has no problem bragging to his teammates about his sexcapades and hitting on other women. He barely listens to, let alone respects Kelly as an individual. Alisha even broke up with him during freshman year because he kept trying to touch her boob without consent. He also doesn’t believe girls can play sports and has tried sabotaging the girls’ sport teams several times.
Mikayla Annapoorni Burke - She’s a very intelligent person and super supportive of her friends. Not to mention, super chill and easy going. Similar to Aneesa from nhie.
Sharon Michelle Adams - Sharon is very thought driven person and tends to prioritize logic over emotion. But she is very loyal and cares a lot about the people she loves.
Sarah Paige Mitchell - Sarah is a very sweet girl who cares deeply about other people’s emotions. She’s wise beyond her years and can be pretty stubborn at times. Sarah is also a good listener and supportive friend.
Etienne Marshall - I haven’t thought much for Etienne but I feel like similar to Ozzie, he can be brutally honest and into acquired tastes but at the same time, wears his heart on his sleeve more often.
Ridge Pinciotti - He’s very laid back and enjoys partying and having fun. Unlike Kristie, Delilah, and Mitch, he doesn’t really care for monogamy nor being in a serious relationship. He can see the appeal and is supportive of his friends but he’s not super into that. Some of the girls he hooks up with try to change his mind but it never works. He’s a bachelor and buddy at heart.
Raquelle "Kelly" Michelle Shaland - She’s a very bubbly and happy girl who enjoys chemistry and doing experiments. Kelly may come off as shallow at times, but isn’t even remotely close to shallow. She’s also a very forgiving person (too forgiving sometimes) and tends to have a hard time figuring out who she is on her own.
Mitchum Eduardo Pinciotti - He can be pretty mischievous and do some childish antics but truly has a good heart. He claims to not do relationships and tries to be bachelor-like just like Ridge but fails (I.e. Lilah)
Delilah Reed - She’s a lot similar to Kristie, with being rebellious and outgoing, yet still having a soft heart. But her, it’s kinda at a different extent. For my followers that watch degrassi, Kris would be like Spinner Mason and Delilah would be like Jay Hogart.
Serena Marotti - She’s very outgoing and comfortable with her sexuality. She’s also a part of the soccer team and wants to an athlete in the future and get into Stanford. She doesn’t exactly have the best track record with guys but it doesn’t stop her from being able to open her heart and leave her guard down.
Gwendolyn "Gwen" Patricia Runck - Same as canon
Nathaniel "Nate" Glenn Runck - Same as canon but he matures a lot when he starts hanging with Sarah.

Elizabeth "Betsy" Victoria Kelso - She’s super blunt and outgoing. Betsy doesn’t take any shit and will be anyone’s worst nightmare if they hurt her and/or the people she loves. She’s part of the dance team and has been dreaming of being one since she saw Angelina Ballerina (let’s pretend there was a version that came out in the eighties). Similar to Serena and her other friends hitting on Jay, Jay’s friends often hit on her as well. Betsy also has a thing for rebels lol.
