[distant future pixane angst]

The dim space between us felt like a mile, but as we stared into each other’s eyes I swear I could read his thoughts exactly. His somber expression remained stuck on mine as I opened my mouth to speak, but my lips wouldn’t move. A number of different words crossed my mind, but as I tried to justify speaking any of them, there was simply no combination worth expressing. My vocal processors simply descended into hysterical laughter as my hands rose to grip my forehead.

“Will you please speak to me,” Zane pleaded, taking a step closer.

“No! It’s no use!” I insisted, my desperation still mixed with laughter. “Because I know exactly how this is going to play out! You’re going to leave through that door, and step through that portal and I’m never going to see you again. And no matter how much I yell at you, how earnestly I plead with you, there is nothing I can do that will convince you not to!”

His chest retreated, his hands gripping his newly dawned satchel.

“So just go.” I sighed. “Go be the self sacrificial hero. Take the suicide mission. It’s practically already done, so just do it!”

“Pixal,” He took his steps deliberately, very carefully taking my hands into his. “Somebody has to do this.”

“Why does it have to be you?” I demanded.

“Because it’s my job.”

“It doesn’t have to be.”

“But it is,” he pressed. “Look, you don’t need to worry about me, I’ve already come to terms with-”

“I know!” I broke away from him again. “But I haven’t, Zane! I’m not okay with this! You’re the only thing I still have!” My eyes strayed to the monastery around us. “There’s no one else left. If you leave, It’s only me up here.”

His hands reached toward me again. “Which is why I need you to stay-”

“Don’t-” I jolted back. “...patronize me.” He let me take a few steps away again, my arms firmly crossing. “Like you haven’t left me alone to deal with things myself hundreds of times before.”

“What else would you have me do?!” Zane asked, the first hint of frustration entering his tone.

“Let someone else do it!” I turned back to face him.

“I can’t force this on anyone else.” His eyes were so earnest. So open. It hurt me more than anything else ever had.

“Of course not!” I backed away, my emotions again sending me into hysteria. “Because I’m not a good enough reason for you to stay!” The tears finally collapsed onto my cheeks, his arms quickly surrounding me despite the distance I had attempted to put between us.

“Of course you are,” he whispered in my ear, my head now resting on his shoulder. “I love you. I love you more and more every single day, you are the best reason I could ever have to stay.”

The pain in his voice only served to strain my breaths further. He pulled back ever so slightly, his fingertips cradling my cheek.

“But this isn’t about me.” His icy blue eyes were layered behind tears of his own now. “This isn’t about us. It can’t be.”

His words were true, but my mind refused to process them.

His hands once again slid down to meet mine. “Pixal, you are the strongest person I know.”

My head instinctively began to shake. “I’m not strong enough for this.”

“You’re going to do so many amazing things once I’m gone.” His grip got tighter.

“I can’t-”

“I know our souls will find each other again someday.”

I couldn’t look him in the eyes anymore, my vision now completely drowned.

“You should go.”

“I’m not leaving you while you’re so unsettled,” he insisted.

“It’s only going to get more difficult the longer you wait.” I closed my eyes in defiance. “Just go already.”

There was a moment of stillness before I felt his lips grace my forehead. “Thank you for sharing your life with me.”

My eyelids grew tighter as more tears slipped through. There was another still moment before his touch fully receded and his footsteps slowly left the room. My eyes remained closed for several more minutes, refusing to open up to a reality without him. I could almost imagine that he was still there, that I would turn around and he would still be waiting in the doorway.

But when my eyes finally opened, and the tears finally faded, I was only met with his absence.

The doorway was empty. The monastery was empty. My heart was empty. The only thing he had left behind was a cold chill in the air.

He was gone.

And I had let him go.

Meme for my au of Sensei G returning a couple months after the end of season 10 (His good and evil sides got reunited or some shit. Took a while after the resurrection and splitting of his soul)

He's held at gun point by literally everyone.... for obvious reasons of everyone thinking emperor Garmadon is playing some sick twisted deception on them Nd especially Lloyd.

He got back and nearly got blasted back to his prison cell or to the Departed Realm once again.

Kai is literally on fire and ready to make some Oni barbecue.

Nya is ready to drown him in the saltiest water known to mankind.

Jay is one second away from releasing millions of volts.

Cole be lifting a mountain and throwing it at the Resurrected man.

Zane is making an ice coffin for him already.

Pixal is unleashing all of her new gun installments.

Lloyd is conflicted because goddamn, he was starting to come to terms with the fact that his dad is long gone and dead and that the only way he can see him again is if he dies and goes to the departed realm.

tbh I don't believe any of the ninja are white except for Jay but it's only his bio mom who was white

for my hcs personally its

cole - Romani

Nya + Kai - Chinese/Filipino

Lloyd - Japanese/Chinese (plus Oni and dragon obviously)

Zane - Black/Indian

Jay - Chinese/White

Wu + Garmadon - Fully Oni/dragon hybrids but their human forms are Japanese/Chinese

Pixal - Vietnamese

Misako- Japanese

I mean technically Zane and Pixal don't have races but they still have the features and when they use their cloaking device (Pixal has one but doesn't use it often if at all) those are the features they have ☝️🤓

I know that Ninjago is kinda of a mix of multiple cultures from both Asia and Europe like Oni come from Japan, the Yin/Yang engagement Jay and Nya had and the Festival in the 8th season is Chinese, the style of the monestary and some other places are also Japanese, the Dragons in the show are of the western + eastern variety and also a lot of things in the show are a lot like western culture too.

My Zane and Pixal being the sensei Wu and sensei Garmadon of a future gen idea just keeps growing on me...

Zane as a successor to Wu make so much sense, cuz he has the most insanely bazaar past making it really easy for him to keep Wu level secrets. Like, you just know in a sequel show, attackers from the never realm would show up, and he would have to go "I should have told you this years ago, but I was actually an evil warlord for like 60 years in another realm. I guess that really came back to bite me, huh? Guess you gotta fight these guys now!"

I love the S11 designs simply because they’re all distinct

I was initially going to wait until I finished the pre-designs as well but I am impatient sooOooooooo, also going to do individual refs for each of the ninja because my brain needs a guide to follow

Jay - 5’6

Kai (minus the hair) - 5’8

Lloyd - 5’8.5 (Idk just a lil taller than Kai. Personally I think it’s the Dragoni genes that progressively make him taller. I think post-merge he becomes taller than Nya.)

Nya - 5’9

Cole - 6’2

Wu - 6’3 (Minus the hat and horns)

Pixal - 6’4

Zane - 6’5

My thoughts on Dragons Rising S1-S2P1!

⚠️ POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD, TREAD LIGHTLY ⚠️

1. Arin is literally SO Autism coded I swear and you cannot tell me otherwise. It literally pissed me off so bad how that master dragon was treating him. He's a smart boy, he learns quick too!! But sometimes he gets stuck and held back by his own self. He needs a lot of patience when it comes to his training!! Stressing him out is not doing wonders for him grgrgrg. (I say this as a certified Autistic person)

2. The ninja are literally experiencing the Zane effect. His curse his spreading. My evidence?

Lloyd - Visions - Zane used to have many visions that all came true and they often caused him to wake in a startled state.

Jay - 100% no memory, plus it seems likely that he may turn to the dark side, if only temporary. - Do I really have to say it? Ice, fucking, Emperor.

Kai - Gets stuck in another dimension. - Oh ehm gee, Zane with the ice emperor arc.

3. My god, when Nya saw that fake vision of Jay not remembering her and she said she realize it was fake because there was no possible way he could forget her... it literally broke my heart. Like girl, I am sorry. I am so so sorry. You're love for him is so sweet but...it might seem a little crazy what I'm about to tell you...

4. Cole and Geo are so fucking gay, it's so sweet. They're so cute!!! I love them so much I can't 😭

5. Lloyd my poor poor boy. The visions just utterly terrorizing him was so devastating to watch. I felt so bad for him. I'm glad he managed to find peace with it, if somewhat.

6. What happens if Kai comes across the other four of the Forbidden Five?? What are the gonna do to him?? Please for the love of god-

7. Still waiting for a Cole v. Jay showdown. I need it and I need it now.

8. I miss Wu, Pixal, and Skylor!! And Dareth. Give Zane and Kai their girlfriends back istg. And like, maybe actually do Kailor justice for real this time?? Just sayin. And don't you DARE say Wu is dead, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT. I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL BUILT ON DENIAL, JUST YOU WATCH.

9. Hear me out on this first Forbidden Five dude, PLEASE I BEG OF YOU-

10. I think it would be kinda silly if one of the Ninja actually got stuck with a wolf mask on while the gong thing was set off, and something bad actually happened with it?? More conflict and angst and drama please, make my heart bleed.

11. What are ya'lls theories on Jay so far after S2P1? I wanna hear em!!

Small doodle + headcanon jumpscare FT. PIXAL Wu and PIXAL are very often left alone to their own devices when the ninja go on missions, and so they've grown to get to know each other better, after a bit of awkward shuffling around each other because they've barely been able to properly talk, after a while they start bonding in ways the ninja didn't PIXAL helps Wu with trying to make food, teaching him of mechanics, sometimes secretly even riding the vehicles around the forest, the two can also sometimes just spend their days in comfortable silence, reading a book and talking about it later on. Due to this PIXAL has learned a few secrets of Wu that he hasn't even told the ninja, one of those things is his more draconic side, she gives him comfort in a way that makes him sure that she wont judge him for his antics [there's a certain pressure around the ninja, since he's the closest with them] One of the things PIXAL has found Wu to enjoy is sunbathing [its a dragon thing], so sometimes if he needs it, she goes accompany him to the side of the mountain, of course having her own cooling system as she reads a book in the peace of his company
