Okay so I know that @phantomruby (I HOPE YOU DONT MIND THE TAG AUGH) was partly to thank for this idea but I have no idea where the other part to this went but I saw this image

And decided to redraw it and if anyone knows the true creator please let me know so I can credit them 😭😭😭

Anyway here we go HFHDH

Firstly I know they all have different colors to them but believe me when I say that I used ref images and these were the colors that came out for each version 😭😭😭 I swear each Sonic has different colors to them which makes it hard choosing what colors to use when coloring him augh

Also what the HELL is his skin color it's like. so peach but so hard to work with like???????

Lastly dude when I saw the original picture I made this so fast because literally every time I think about the differences between Prime and Frontiers it literally gives me so much whiplash like. Prime is so eccentric and excited but Frontiers is so calm and serious and it makes me go???????? (NOT IN A BAD WAY ITS JUST. SO ODD AHDHDGGD) Literally how can these four be the same hedgehog it's so insane

But then this just brings me back to the fact that Sonic has so many layers to him when it comes to his character. Cuz I like to think that these four are like different parts of Sonic's personality, each one focusing on a different part of him (Though, IDW is kind of a mix of all three so yeah HDHDHDHDG) and it's just so interesting to see them come out like aaaaShhdgsgdgsGDHDG

No wait guys I get it now! They're doing it on purpose! Sega is doing it on purpose! So if someone tries to look up 'sonic x shadow' the ship won't show up, instead the game will, they're trying to erase it! Like with the conspiracy that Disney made the frozen movie so when you looked up 'disney frozen' articles about Walt's head being frozen and kept at Disney wouldn't show up and instead the movie would, it's the same thing, they're trying to do the same thing!! So despite the fact that I've literally never drawn Maria before and it's been a minute since I've drawn Shadow, the fact that these came out as good as they did is mind boggling/pos
