1. Stop putting motion blur on everything. Leave it off unless you’re using it for a specific reason.

2. Stop adding too much stuff. Your job is to communicate a message clearly and not jam as much stuff in it as you can.

3. Stop creating unorganised projects.

4. Stop putting everything in 1 comp. You can easily end up with hundreds of layers. Make moments where you can make a seamless transition into a new comp.

5. Stop eyeballing. Use the align feature.

6. Stop puppet pinning everything. Use it for subtle motion.

7. Stop animating the fun stuff first.
