santiago is fuming as he makes his way down the hall, unsuspecting guards parting to either side like the red sea as he moves through them.  " what are you all standing around for ? get to your posts, "  he snaps over his shoulder as he walks, & the sound of chainmail fills the area as the crowd scrambles. he shakes his head in exasperation, pushing through the entrance to the guards' dressing room. the entire room falls silent, guards turning to stand at attention in various states of dress & readiness, some scrambling to get their armor on so they can about-face as he passes. " BENOÎT ! " his voice is loud & thunderous through the space — nearly all of the guards flinch at the sound of it. he stops in the middle of the room, surveying all of the guards as he searches for the one in question, finding him in the back of the fray. santiago huffs, making a beeline for him.  " come with me. "  he gives him no time to gather himself, simply grabbing the younger's upper arm & all but dragging him out into the hallway. he turns to face him, then, expression stern & furious.  " what is this i'm hearing about you telling off a guest ? are you mad ? "  he makes an incredulous face, raising his eyebrows.  " have you forgotten that your purpose here is to guard the guests, not insult them ? "

Welterbe (auf)gespürt und (er)fahren - F - Abteikirche Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe

Die Abteikirche Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe in der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine beherbergt Meisterwerke biblischer Wandmalereien aus dem Ende des 11. oder Anfang des 12. Jahrhunderts. Als „Romanische Sixtinische Kapelle“ steht sie seit 1983 auf der UNESCO-Welterbeliste. Die ursprüngliche Abtei wurde während der karolingischen Ära von Saint Benoît d'Aniane unter dem Schutz von Karl dem Großen gegründet, später zerstört und im 11. Jahrhundert wieder aufgebaut. Die Bilder an den Wänden und Decken sind thematisch gegliedert und in allen Teilen der Kirche sichtbar. Ein erster Bilderzyklus um und über dem Kirchenportal beschreibt die Apokalypse in eindrucksvollen Szenen. Eine zweite Reihe biblischer Themen ist an der Decke des 17 m hohen und 42 m langen Tonnengewölbes des Mittelschiffs verteilt. Auf der oberen Tribüne der Vorhalle ist die Passion Christi mit Szenen der Märtyrer zu sehen, im Chor und Querhaus Heiligenbilder und die Geschichte der Heiligen Savin und Cyprian an den Wänden der Krypta. Die Wandmalereien der Abtei Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe stellen ein außergewöhnliches Ensemble mittelalterlicher Bildsprache dar und dokumentieren den Höhepunkt dieser Kunstform. Hier geht es zum Einführungsvideo. Von Bourges fahre ich drei Stunden über Land bis zum Städtchen Saint-Savin. Die Straßenbäume werden langsam bunt, die Ernte ist größtenteils eingebracht und auch in Saint-Savin herrscht sonntägliche Ruhe, auf dem Besucherparkplatz der Abtei stehen wenige Autos.

Umso erstaunter bin ich, als ich zum Eingang gehe und zu meinem Ticket ein Tablet mit modernster Präsentation des Welterbes in die Hand bekomme. Ich kann die Dauer meines Rundganges wählen, danach richten sich der Weg und die zugehörigen Erläuterungen. Ich trete in die Kirche ein und bin förmlich sprachlos.

Hell und farbenfroh präsentiert sich das Mittelschiff. In meiner Präsentation werden die Geschichte der Heiligen, der Mönche und die der Abtei erläutert. Danach werden die Fresken detailliert beschrieben und ich schaue mir den Turm zu Babel oder die Arche Noah genau an.

Später erfahre ich, wie die Abtei vergessen, fast zerstört und schließlich von dem als Schriftsteller bekannten Prosper Mérimée während seiner Tätigkeit als Oberster Denkmalsschützer unter Louis-Philippe I. vor dem Verfall gerettet wurde.

Auch ein Blick in die Krypta ist möglich und begeistert begebe ich mich noch auf einen Rundgang um das Kloster.

Ich gehe durch den Klostergarten zum Fluss und auf der Brücke begegne ich zum ersten Mal dem Schild für den Camino nach Santiago de Compostela, dem Welterbe, dem ich an vielen Orten durch Spanien folgen werde.

Resümee

Die Abtei Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe gehört zu den Überraschungen auf meiner Welterbetour. Nicht nur die Klosterkirche mit ihrer wunderbaren Bemalung, sondern deren perfekte, interessante und kurzweilige Präsentation machten meinen Besuch zu einem bleibenden Erlebnis. Und dass es lohnt, die Gegend um Saint-Savin zu besuchen, zeigt sich beim weiterfahren. Es geht durch wunderschöne Landschaft, Weiden, Hügel und kleine Dörfer, begleitet von fröhlicher französischer Musik direkt in das Anbaugebiet des Weins für den Cognac.

Jeder der kleinen Orte hat eine eigene Kelterei und Brennerei. Ein kleines historisches Dörfchen heißt Le Petit Bordeaux und an Cognac vorbei biege ich auf die Atlantikroute ein. Meinen Abend verbringe ich bereits am Atlantik mit Blick auf den Leuchtturm von Cordouan.

Cafayate y Mendoza

La route de Salta à Cafayate était magnifique, pendant une heure, la route passe entre un canyon de montagnes rouge sang (La Quebrada de las Conchas) que j'ai re fais le lendemain à vélo. 57 km de vélo avec le vent de face c'était sportif mais trop chouette et super beau. L'hostel dans lequel j'étais était super mignon, on s'y sentait super bien. J'ai revu Julie et Thomas, un couple de français qui était dans mon auberge à Tilcara. On a passé de bonnes soirées autour de fromage de chèvre et de bon vins rouges et blancs de la région. J'étais bien dans cette toute petite ville avec la nature tout autour. C'était un peu le même genre que Tilcara du coup j'ai réussi à dépasser l'état un peu dépressif qui a suivi les aux revoir de Tilcara.

Après 4 jours j'ai pris le bus avec Julie et Thomas pour aller à Mendoza (mon premier long trajet : 20h de bus. Heureusement qu'il sont vraiment confortable ces bus et que c'était de nuit. Le lendemain est tout de même une journée de pâtée). Mendoza, grande ville (petite diraient les Argentins habitants à Buenos Aires mais ville tout de même moi je dis). Julie et Thomas devaient enchaîné avec un troisième bus pour aller à Santiago mais la frontière était fermée pendant 2 jours du coup de manière imprévue, j'ai passé deux super journées avec eux, à flâner dans les rues, à manger et à jouer aux cartes. Après deux jours les voilà enfin partis pour Santiago. Entre temps j'apprends une très mauvaise nouvelle de Bruxelles qui me questionne sérieusement sur le fait de rentrer. Après longue réflexion je prends la difficile décision de ne pas rentrer.

Me voilà à chercher à manger seule, le coeur brisé par la nouvelle dans les rues vides (dimanche) à chercher désespérément quelque chose pour remplir mon estomac. Heureusement que les empanadas existent quand même (chausson fourré à la viande généralement). Je cherche un endroit où m'asseoir et vlà t-il pas que je vois Benoît et Fanny (couple avec qui j'avais fais une randonnée à Sucre un mois plus tôt). C'était un beau signe, car même quand on a l'impression d'être seule et qu'on commence à broyer du noir, crac on re rencontre quelqu'un, on fait de nouvelles connaissances, on découvre un superbe spot. Cela me rappelle que tout est passager, les émotions arrivent et repartent aussi vites qu'elles sont arrivées. Sauf qu'en voyage elles paraissent encore plus intenses. Benoît et Fanny s'en vont eux aussi pour Santiago et je fais la rencontre d'Élodie avec qui j'ai pas mal de points en commun et eu de chouettes partages. C'est fou comme les rencontres sont beaucoup plus faciles, les discussions plus profondes et les séparations plus intenses quand on voyage. Est-ce le fait de savoir que nous n'avons pas beaucoup de temps ou du fait que nous vivons plus ou moins tous les mêmes choses, que nous ne nous jugeons pas et que nous perdons pas de temps avec un tas de manières et de futilités ?

Me voilà à présent dans le bus pour Santiago, les paysages sont magnifiques, nous venons de traverser les Andes enneigées. Suite au prochain numéro.

Vinci Airports esperava ofertas de outros competidores por Salvador

O diretor de desenvolvimento de negócios da Vinci Airports, Benoît Trochu, afirmou que a companhia esperava que outros competidores fizessem ofertas pelo aeroporto de Salvador, uma vez que o terminal é atrativo em termos de turismo e de viagens corporativas. No entanto, o executivo ponderou que a instalação de um hub no Nordeste não é a prioridade das companhias aéreas brasileiras neste momento.

"Estamos num ponto em que as aéreas do Brasil estão lidando com um excesso de oferta", disse Trochu, em conversa com jornalistas "Não é mais prioridade estabelecer um hub (em Salvador ou Fortaleza), mas claro que é algo que podemos olhar no futuro".

Este é o primeiro aeroporto que será administrado pela francesa no Brasil. Na América Latina, a companhia arrematou, em 2015, a concessão do aeroporto de Santiago, no Chile, e, em 2016, os aeroportos da República Dominicana, com exceção do terminal de Punta Cana.

Questionado quanto ao estabelecimento de parcerias para a execução das obras relacionadas ao aeroporto de Salvador, Trochu destacou que a Vinci possui uma companhia interna de construção, porém mais voltada para serviços no setor de energia. "Não é exatamente o foco que precisamos, mas eles podem ajudar nas obras do aeroporto", disse. Segundo o executivo, caso a Vinci opte por não usar essa companhia interna, a alternativa seria contratar um parceiro brasileiro.
