I can just see the guys being at the mall or out and about and Santa or the Easter Bunny is there and Davy is petrified and hyperventilating and the guys aren't sure why and then they become worried.

Yes yes yes. Okay this is pure self projection but yes Davy is terrified.

Davy is terrified of anyone dressed up, particularly in suits like the Easter Bunny (he can’t see their face and it freaks him out). He’ll subtly put as much distance between himself and the actor as possible. Until, of course, Peter wants to meet them. Davy tells the others that he’ll go get them food or finish up some shopping while they go but they protest because they want a family picture.

Davy has no choice but to go or admit he’s scared (which he of course wont do) so he goes. Hes clinging to Mike like his life depends on it and if the actor tries to speak to him (assuming at first glance that he’s the child) he’ll go stock still and not respond. If there’s space, Mike will sit next to Santa and Davy will sit on Mikes lap because he’s safe while Peter will get to sit on Santas lap. Mike is constantly rubbing his back because he’s close enough to hear that Davy’s breathing is irregular.

All holiday pictures of them meeting the Easter bunny or Santa has Davy with tearfilled eyes. Micky always jokes about it (after the fact, when Davy’s a lot calmer) but stops when he can tell it’s actually getting to Davy.

On a similar note, when Davy was a kid he would never put his teeth under the pillow, he’d always leave them in the bathroom or in his parents bed because the thought of a little magical fairy coming near his face while he slept was petrifying.

wait but I'm thinking about Jaskier who never got to really celebrate Christmas growing up because his parents thought it was stupid and just flat out told him about Santa not being real and didn't really celebrate in general

now as an adult who's finally settled and on his own with his own place he decides to do all the traditions he didn't get to when he was a kid, baking cookies and leaving some out, decorating, making a wishlist, even writing a letter to Santa
