To date, I think this is still probably the most difficult space to furnish. No flat surfaces, large space, and only 30 slots (with sub).

Like the other ‘apartments’, this is one of the few player houses that has, IMO, the optimal item count/floor space ratio; this room’s 100 item slots (of which I used 98) is really generous, as opposed to the stingy 30 slots allocated to the similarly-sized Saint Delyn Penthouse.

I used mostly Altmer items, with a few Breton things and some shinies for flavour.

A while back we arranged a house furnishing contest with theme "Argonian Tenant" and since the Murkmire lake manor release is around the corner this could be a good time to share some pictures from the contest for some argonian inspiration! ESO gave out 100k gold just for logging in last month... I didn’t want to bank it (b/c there’s already 5 million sitting there) so I’m going to try to recreate the load screen for the Saint Delyn Penthouse player housing in Vivec, which looks like this: (Image scummed from the always useful UESP, natch.):

In contrast to that glorious assemblage, ‘my’ Saint Delyn Penthouse is an empty room, apart from one of the torchière-type lighting fixtures, which was there when Esme moved in; thusly:

I’ve made a spreadsheet with my best-guesses at what each of the furnishings/objet are, and I’m adding another 100K gold to the budget, since Great House furnishings and plans seem to be on the spendy side, judging from the research I’ve done so far on Tamriel Trade Center... while I can craft a couple of things with my already available assets, most of it is going to be store bought, else it’ll be a project that drags on and on and on and on, rather than done and over ASAP.

Oh, and with ESO+ there’s a 30 item limit for the space; by my count there are slightly more items than that in the image, so I’ll probably omit the books (piled at left, and open on the table) since those appear to be Crown store exclusive and I’m sure as heck not gonna spend ‘real money’ because that would be really stupid.

And now I’m off to visit every guild trader in the game. *hangs “Gone Shoppin’” sign on the virtual door*
