Nakayoshi Sailor Moon Giftbag. Probably the only official merch that features Jupiter/Makoto with a cigarette in her mouth. (Upper right hand side of the Chibiusa side of the bag)

Also, look at my cheese shaped cheesecake 🧀 It seems to be a new trend, and apparently influenced by the perfect cheese featured in Tom & Jerry. I have to admit Tom & Jerry influenced by idea of cheese when I was a kid too, and I can’t live without Emmental cheese (the holes taste the best). Btw, there has been a a huge amount of new Tom & Jerry goods in the past few years and I’m loving it 💕

When I was looking at the list of Super Mimiko (スーパー・ミミ子) chapters and the periodical issues they were first published in, it was interesting to notice that the first portion of the third chapter was published as a furoku (付録) or bonus item. A lot of furoku are small toys, stationary, or another prize that was originally intended to incentivize readers to buy their own copy of the magazine rather than sharing with a friend. In this case, I assume that the Super Mimiko chapter was included as a small thin book cling wrapped to the magazine. Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン) did something similar with Act 30 which never appeared in the pages of Nakayoshi (なかよし), whose title translated to “Good Friend,” but was rather included as a slim stand-alone volume, which I include in my own collection next to the tankobon (単行本) edition of the full story and the special edition movie manga.
