Promised update. I'll start with what I've learned about my personal situation

We sprung our ambush against the Absolute Radiance members and, after more than a bit of unpleasantness, got information out of them.

If it weren't for Sato and the gang finding me and preventing me from going solo, I probably would've been on an altar with a knife in my chest being sacrificed to their god.

As for why me specifically, I learned that this is not the first time the Radiance have tried to summon their god. They failed obviously since the world hadn't ended. But they learned the reason why they failed was because it takes a specific kind of soul to become their deity's herald.

A soul that is naturally of Keter, the Crown. And my identity as one has already been revealed a long time ago after one of the lesser angels expressed their curiosity over it in the only way they know how - loudly.

Natural Keters are rare. According to Sephirot theory, Keter is the furthest Sephirot from the mortal realm.

I just didn't realize how rare until my discussion with the Templars. One in millions, maybe in a billion. So there's maybe a range between 8000 and 8 of us in the entire world. And guess who's publicly known for being a said Crown.

The good news is I don't have to go hunting for these assholes. They're already gunning for me.

Though I think the Templars and the Nameless Cult have called dibs after discovering some of their hideouts. I haven't seen most of the Nameless Cult for a few days, and those that come back are usually bloodied and exhausted.
