This is the entire exchange, with the context to why Blake was ‘calling out’ Bruce in the first place.

Batman is not brushing RWBY off and telling them to go away so Bruce can fix the problems they dragged to Gotham the way he did in the TMNT movie. Bruce just doesn’t want to rely on a temporary superpower that could affect how he assesses and conducts hazardous situations in the future.

Blake then acts like Bruce told them to piss off and leave him alone to brood, when that isn’t what he said at all.

The problem has nothing to do with it being a woman to call out Batman’s ‘lone wolf’ attitude, the problem has everything to do with the fact that this comic is just plain trash.

So if the version of RWBY in RWBY/JL are actually their V8 selves, just displaced in time and the JL are all sixteen, that implies that Weiss, Blake and Yang are all older than than the League. 

Kinda backed up by Yang calling Clark “kid”.

How would you feel if Whitley appeared in the upcoming RWBY Justice League movie I personally would love that especially if they gave him a role similar to what he had in volume 8 but I acknowledge that it's very unlikely outside of maybe a cameo since we know Jacque is going to be in the movie

I'd be happy if he appeared and I have reason to believe he'll be in a scene or two, but making him a part of the actual plot probably isn't in the cards. They've already got 7 JL heroes and 7 RWBY main characters to juggle, plus any human antagonists they may throw in and the RWBY side characters they'll have to put in like Ozpin and maybe Glynda, so adding more characters in for any amount of plot relevance seems like a bad idea. Whitley also isn't a combatant, so his main usage would be his technological skills, ability to be the "man in the chair", so to speak, his access to SDC resources, and his knowledge of Atlas and its systems - roles that are all mostly covered by Weiss, Batman, and Cyborg or irrelevant to a plot that seems to be set in Vale.

I do think that he will appear, though, as there are scenes taking place at Schnee Manor shown in the trailer involving attacking Grimm; it would be odd to not have him appear at least briefly for a few lines as Weiss resolves that situation. Whether he'll doing anything relevant is questionable, but a situation like Ice Queendom where he gets cameos and a small scene with Weiss would be expected and appreciated.

...But hey Whitley can meet Batman, how awesome might that be, Batley for the win-

The Justice League crossover movie trying to hype up Grimm as some genuine threat that terrifies the League because 'they're soulless murder monsters" is the most hilarious shit to me.

Sure, Grimm would horrific for the guys who regularly deal with Vandal Savage, the immortal caveman constantly seeking to upend society to remold in his own image; Brainiac the unfeeling alien who shrinks cities to put in bottles and destroying the rest of the planet to make his snowglobe collection more valuable; and Darkseid, the embodiment of evil running a planet-wide fascist regime seeking to strip the free will of every being in the universe, who also has a virtually endless army of soulless murder monsters.

And then, despite desperately trying to make Grimm seem really scary, the movie still treats them like completely disposable cannon fodder our heroes effortlessly mow through.

I recall when they first announced the RWBY/JL comic I had a friend who loves RWBY but doesn't read comics ask me how I thought Cass would get along with Team RWBY. I said she more than likely wouldn't. He suggested she and Blake might vibe, what with her being the quiet one and that actually made me laugh out loud, because the first place my brain went with it was: Cass: "So uhh... what do you do for fun?" Blake: "I read books." Cass: "Welp, I tried. You all saw me."
