Wha... Wait... "A"??!?
A. One. Left out of the headline - because that would take a whole letter to specify! - and elucidated in the article. Yoink! Good news, a pause on a single shipment, but don't think we've lost our minds and intend to stop. And, giving me more Duck Soup flashbacks, the stated reason is that the BIG bombs kill too many people too fast.
"Good!" says the Rufus T. Firefly that lives in my brain. "Freedonia can't be concerned with putting these miserable people out of their misery! Let 'em suffer! Why, if it's precision you're after, we'll round 'em up and stab 'em to death with our knitting needles!"
Is that actually the reason? No. Pretty darn sure it's the protests and the election.
And Sanders is right there, in that political sweet spot he's allowed to occupy because he's a progressive who'll fall in line when the chips are down, saying this shit needs to stop but willing to call a genocide a "horrific war" for the optics. He's playing to stay in the room and keep doing the "harm reduction," but you'll forgive me for finding the strategy sickening under the circumstances.
"We're losing votes!" says Rufus T. Firefly. "Deploy the decoys and blow the Progressive Call!"
Harpo blows a kazoo that somehow goes, "UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE! SOCIAL JUSTICE! PEACE ON EARTH! NO NUKES!"
"Hey, boss, that sounds pretty good," says Chicolini. "Are we gonna do any of that?"
"What? Pfft! No!" Firefly brandishes a blunderbuss. "Just look busy and wait for a few leftists to land. We'll blow 'em away!"
Chicolini rubs his paws together. "Oh, boss, we're gonna eat like kings!"
"Shut your mouth! Filthy monarchist! We're gonna eat like Liberal Democrats with no accountability!" Aside, "Hand me my crown!"
All postmodern absurdity aside, it's the protests and the election. If you're visible (and if you're allowed, because some campuses are clearing out "outside agitators" who don't like genocides but lack a student ID) PLEASE STAY VISIBLE. MAKE NOISE. And I thank you from the bottom of my distant, sick, invisible heart.

I uh... Did not tell you that I'm sipping for one more Firefly clan member. I don't think you'll be able to guess (though I wouldn't be surprised if you were able to as well, as I'm pretty sure he'd be the next most simpable clan member).
Actually, you know what? Go ahead and look away from this ask and spend some time trying to guess who I'm talking about. And if/when you do answer this, I want you to be honest with me on whether or not you got it.
...

......................
You're back? Ok. The one that I've been fantazing about next to Baby and Mama is....
Rufus 'RJ' Junior.
He- HE IS SO DAMN HUGE HANNAH!!! AND STRONG!!!! HE LIFTED A WHOLE ASS MAN ABOVE HIS HEAD AND THREW HIM IN A COFFIN!! Holy fucking shit that is H O T. And- And- he's a hunter??? Or at least that's what I'm gathering with his hunting rifle, bear skin, and hiding in the bushes. I mean, the Firefly's had to get all those taxidermy animals from somewhere, and I doubt they bought them. So I'm also gonna say he knows how to build a campfire (😏😏😏)
Rufus also has a deep voice?? He barely speaks in the movie (which gives him the 'silent sexy character' point that Patchy Stabbinton has), but when he does, HOLY MOLY it does something to me. Especially when he told Jerry "Get in."!?!? Yes sir, I will climb in your bed- I MEAN that coffin- Unless you'd be willing to put me in there yourself~?
Brooooooo, he barely gets screen time. Tiny got more screen time than he did. But I feel like I'm in love with this behemoth of a man, too. And with your fanfiction, i feel like i was falling in love with Foxy before I even saw the third movie- and I did. Why are all these Firefly's so damn hot, Hannah!?!? 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Omg those 😏😏😏😏 faces at building a campfire!!!! XDDD You know I agree XD Hunters 💕💕😏 XD
AND AH! RUFUS!!! YOU'RE SO RIGHT ABOUT HIM! I didn't guess him 😅 I guessed Foxy 😅😅😅 BUT YES. Do you remember that one poll I made that was, like, 'Best kisser in the Firefly family?' Well I picked Foxy- but it was between him and Rufus XD He just seems very... in control XD He's definitely without sympathy for their victims but I don't think he's as insane as the rest of the family XD
Rufus is absolutely the next most simpable Firefly XDD If I wasn't going to work right now I would get more into it!!!! But I'm begging you- if y o u happen to have thoughts about this hunter- please do share XD !!!!!
Oh
Man.
All the members of this family are gorgeous no doubt XD Rob Zombie set us up for disaster XDD
(And- side note- in Devils Rejects he's played by TYLER MANE!?? HAVE YOU SEEN THE SIZE OF THAT MAN?? THATS RZ'S MICHAEL MYERS. HOLY MOLY)

Harpo Marx, Chico Marx, Zeppo Marx, and Groucho Marx in Duck Soup (Leo McCarey, 1933) Cast: Groucho Marx, Harpo Marx, Chico Marx, Zeppo Marx, Margaret Dumont, Louis Calhern, Raquel Torres, Edgar Kennedy, Edmund Breese, Leonid Kinskey, Charles Middleton. Screenplay: Bert Kalmar, Harry Ruby, Arthur Sheekman, Nat Perrin. Cinematography: Henry Sharp. Art direction: Hans Dreier, Wiard Ihnen. Film editing: LeRoy Stone. Music: John Leipold; songs by Bert Kalmar, Harry Ruby. The best of the Marx Brothers' movies, largely because it's nonstop nonsense. There are no breaks for a harp solo by Harpo or cute piano playing by Chico. There's no "real-life" romantic subplot like the ones Irving Thalberg inserted into the movies the Marxes made when they moved over to MGM. (This was the last movie they made at Paramount.) The songs are all excuses for goofy production numbers. This is the one with Harpo and Chico running a peanut stand and tormenting Edgar Kennedy as the lemonade seller. This is the one with the mirror routine involving Groucho and Harpo (and eventually Chico) in nightshirts and nightcaps. This is the one in which Groucho (aka Rufus T. Firefly) exhorts the troops with "Remember, you're fighting for this woman's honor, which is probably more than she ever did." (The temptation to quote is irresistible.) The woman in question is, of course, Margaret Dumont, sailing stately through the turbulent sea of Groucho's puns, insults, and double entendres. For once she has a match in enduring the brothers with aplomb: Louis Calhern takes everything they can dish out and keeps plowing ahead. Duck Soup was not particularly well-received at the time, but it has grown in favor since the sentimentality that weighed down later films like A Night at the Opera (Sam Wood, 1935) and A Day at the Races (Wood, 1937) has gone out of style. If I had to pick the funniest film ever made, and thank god I don't, it might be this one.
