I've always had great experiences there reaching out to write a wanted connection and always been made to feel welcome. So you can't go wrong.

there are definitely some people who are down and willing to kill their tributes! and while we definitely have a plan in place, not every tribute can survive. as we are halfway to full tribute capacity, and people continue to fill out those slots, i strongly strongly advise not to bring a tribute you're going to be too passionate about. we will never ever ever kill your character without your consent, but also know there's only so much we can do! this is a hunger games rp and unfortunately not everyone can live! we will, of course, be killing off all unapplied tributes/npc tributes first ((:

Redesigned a D&D-adjacent character of mine, Fennik Glenwey. He's a fey-touched stormsinger bard, which translates to "sparky, snarky, and exceptionally cheerful for someone who couldn't logic his way out of a paper bag."

When I redesigned him, the intent was to bring in both a jester theme and autumnal colors, since he's from an Fall-themed court.

hey! i'm super niche when it comes to groups so i'm going to rec the ones i've seen/joined.

i've been on @eventiderpg for 7 months today (happy anniversary blue!!) and it's a huge rec if you're into thg.

as for period rps! lately i've been in an asoiaf kick so that's what i'm been looking for. i've recently joined @swordshq which is run by another lovely admin and will be opening this week.

there's also @gloryfms whose admins are wonderful people! i haven't the time to join it but i trust them to make it really interesting (hope it's okay to shoutout you guys!)

Perdition is a town in limbo, existing between its bygone era of industry and the looming threat of economic decay. In the 1900s, it was a prosperous mining town, the Perot mine delivering deposits of gold and silver ore. In the 1950s, the United States government operated a uranium mine and mill spurred by the Atomic Energy Commission and the Red Scare of the Cold War. Signs warning off trespassers, warning of radiation, litter the outlands around the town. Perditioners have become familiar with passing degrees of strangeness, a vague generational knowledge of local oddities. Maybe it has something to do with the radioactive spill in the 90’s. Maybe it has something to do with the shadowy government agency that’s back in town bearing the mantle of 'ATLAS'.

Maybe there’s something in the water. Maybe there’s something in the mines.

You knew who’d been here their whole life, and who moved here — and why. You had always managed to remain in the background, the definition of a wallflower. No one ever knew you were there, while they spilled their guts. You were the first to know about a teenage pregnancy in high school, simply because you were quiet while the mom-to-be reacted to her positive test, just one stall over. Somehow, though, you’d landed the attention of the star quarterback. They were enraptured by the cat-and-mouse game you’d played — you feigning hard to get, and them doing anything to win you over. Despite everyone’s shock and surprise, you’d not only made it to the altar, but your marriage had been a happy one. At least, until you caught them in the midst of cheating on you. Never one to be embarrassed, you promised to keep the secret of their affair, if they moved out and let you and your children remain in your family home. You still remember the day they were set to move out; it all happened in a blur. You’d taken your children out for ice cream to distract them, and timed your arrival back home with when you knew your soon to be former spouse would be long gone. So, when you came home and saw their car still in the driveway, you were perplexed, if not a little annoyed. Nothing could’ve prepared you to have come home and found them deceased in the foyer. Neighbors say the scream you let out was unlike any they’d ever heard. Everyone was surprised when the police showed up, and arrested you for a crime you hadn’t committed. No matter how hard you fought and begged and pleaded, nothing worked. It wasn’t until new evidence was uncovered, some 10 years into your sentence, that you were released from prison with nothing more than a plastic bag containing the clothes you were wearing when you were first incarcerated. Now, you’re “free,” or so you’ve been told, but there’s no freedom in trying to rebuild your life as an innocent person, in a town where everyone thinks you’re guilty.
