when i first got in periodfcnetwork, the owner told me they'd be taking some time off from the internet. we haven't spoken much ever since - - i hope they are doing well - - so i've been taking care of the blog by myself for a while now. i was awkward to ask for help because i didn't want to impose on anyone but i think it's about time so...i'm searching for someone to help around @periodfcnetwork.
the network blog has over 2k posts, and the directory hasn't been updated in months (the last time i did it, when i took over, it took me several months to add fcs and tidy up to a page that now amonts to 500+ fcs) and i don't have the time, the energy or an efficient computer to do it again by myself. that said, you'd basically be in charge of updating the directory page though i've also been considering adding more specifics to the reblogs (particularly the time period/era the resource portrays).
requirements include: knowing basic html (for updating the pages), having the time to do so and an active tumblr account and/or discord so we can talk and we keep each other on the loop.

Antiquity f x f prompts I've been into lately:
- You've just been married off to a powerful warrior queen in the north. It's an arranged political marriage that has caused some scandal. You've never laid eyes on the queen or her country until you arrive to be wed. You find she's aloof, temperamental, and unused to the nuances of courtship and romance, though she has the capacity to be fiercely protective (and fiercely jealous).
- You're a young noblewoman who has taken to frequenting the only lesbian brothel in the kingdom. You had hoped it would be a place to get your sapphic desires out of your system, but instead you find yourself falling deeper and deeper into those same desires, struggling to justify your secret life to yourself and to those who are closest to you.
- When your reputation for keeping the company of women threatens your noble family's standing, they send you to a secluded isles where "women like you" are left to pursue their supposedly aberrant desires. There, you find dozens of women living openly sapphic lives, spending most of their time drinking wine, bathing in the sea, wandering the forests and mountains, writing poetry and making art, and experiencing the full range of love, desire, and heartbreak.

The iron chains weighed her down, there was only so long she could hide, so long she could run a dye through her hair to hide her Targaryen heritage yet someone she thought a friend sold that secret and lost their life before her eyes, a broken promise of freedom wasted. Her identity didn't stop them roughing her up or tossing her around along the way, with every hit the pain that would radiate through her body was unimaginable, she learnt that from experience the first couple times and obeyed every command on their long ride to wherever they were going to take her.
There was a group of them by the end of the raid, all linked together by chains, marching along horses for days without food or water until they came to a camp, larger than any she had seen. Daenerys knew those banners like the rest of the women with her, a few of them already shedding tears for what was to come. Of all the places she could have been, it was here, she was tossed to the floor with the rest of the women, waiting for the horrors to come.
