Superman: I dated a mermaid.
Wonder Woman: I had a mermaid stalker once who competed for my affection with Steve.
Wonder Girl/Donna Troy: I *think* I dated a mermaid. Not sure. It may have been me. It's all very unclear.
Batman: I once hallucinated that I was dating a mermaid after a boat I was on exploded and a mermaid saved my life by surgically transforming my lower half into that of a fish. I thought I would be trapped underwater for my whole life.
Superman and Wonder Woman: ........
Dick Grayson: I wish I had a mermaid girlfriend.
Wally West: Shut up! You got enough girlfriends already!

Because of the whole live action thing, I was watching Bambi II tonight and I forget that the films are based off of the book. But I love how the 2nd movie goes into more of the book. (about Bambi learning about mortality and shit, learning to be the next Prince, Ronno, whatever)
But from the first film, when I see people praising animation in Disney stuff, I never see this scene get brought up. The music and animation put together has always given me absolute chills.
Another scene that should be mentioned from the movie is the April Showers scene.
both terrified and amazed me as a kid 👍(april showers halfway through)

closed starter for @thedeerdevil
location: enchanted forest
After her first venture into the human world had in all honesty scared her a bit, Melanie decided she needed to start slow. Perhaps jumping right into the heart of town had been a mistake, so many changes had occurred over the past hundred fifty something years, it was a bit overwhelming to see it so vastly different from the town she had once known. The forest, however, felt much safer. Nothing much could be all that different with nature, after all. And now that she was already dead, she had no need to fear the spirits and beasts that lurked within the trees. Her wardrobe was still outdated as she walked in her white go-go boots and a halter dress she had claimed her own after the last owners of the manor had fled without any of their belongings. But Melanie hardly minded right now, knowing she wasn’t going to be seeing anyone in the foliage as she roamed. Or at least, that was what she had assumed until a loud bang was heard followed by another and then a third. Spinning on her heels, her eyes widened ever so slightly as she saw a man with a gun very obviously hunting. Before she had a chance to hide though, he seemed to have spotted her and thankfully did not shoot but rather just yelled out what was she doing here. Not that the bullets would have harmed her, but it would have been a bit awkward explaining why she wasn’t bleeding after being shot. “Hello, I - I was simply going for a walk through the trees,” she calls out her answer, frowning ever so slightly as the man chose to come closer towards her rather than just continue about his business. “I did not mean to startle you, sir. I know how much concentration it takes to hunt, I’m sorry for the distraction.” Hunting had never been part of Melanie’s life, but she knew the importance of it - of providing food for your family and others throughout town.
