Wieder so ein Homofilm von Gregg Araki... Junge Homosexuelle bringen sich häufig um, weil sie meinen, den gesellschaftlichen Normen nicht gerecht werden zu können. Oder aus Liebeskummer. Es sieht noch einiges recht handgemacht aus (mit Absicht: einer der sechs jungen AußenseiterInnen dreht eine ungeliebte Videodokumentation über ihr Leben und Befinden. Auf Video!) und ist gemessen an den späteren Teenage-Armageddon-Teilen vergleichsweise realitätsnah: es tauchen keinerlei Außerindischen auf, und die Welt geht auch nicht unter. Und irgendwie ganz rührend, und traurig. Und todesmutig. So waren die Neunziger.

Christopher Nolan personal life | So different from others! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Christopher Nolan is a great director and is famous for his movies like Inception, Interstellar, and Dark Knight Trilogy. With his movies, he creates magic and dared us to question our perceptions and figure out the mysteries he presented. In this video let's know about Christopher Nolan's personal life. A British American filmmaker, born on 30 July 1970, in London and is well known for his incredible and unique movies and the way he works in detailing and researching parts that made us think differently. He had a passion for filmmaking from a very young age. But Christopher Nolan's personal life is very reserved as he didn't talk about his personal life and liked to keep it personal. At a young age, he used to watch science fiction films over and over again, studying their creation and trying to understand the magic behind them. One day when Nolan’s father lent him his Super 8 camera, and this marked the beginning of his filmmaking journey. He used his action figures as characters and created imaginative stories through stop-motion animation. He was very much influenced by Ridley Scott and Stanley Kubrick and science fiction films. Even at the age of 11, he dreamt of becoming a professional filmmaker. During his teenage years, he attended Barrow Hills, a Catholic prep school in Weybridge, Surrey. It was the time when he teamed up with his friends Adrien and Roko Belic to make films. Together, they co-directed a surreal 8mm film called "Tarantella" in 1989. But as you know no one get success so easily and so did Christopher Nolan. He faced a lot of struggles in his initial days in the film industry and despite having such a good talent no one supported him. But later, he never gave up and with Memento in 2000, he rise up like a star. He got so many academic awards for his movies like Insomnia, the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, and many more. His work on "Dunkirk" earned him two Academy Award nominations, including his first-ever nomination for Best Director, which harden his position as a highly respected filmmaker in the industry. Since then, Nolan's films consistently appear on lists of the best movies of their respective decades. In terms of his film techniques, he used so much detailing and research work while making a movie, and his coordination with actors is always cherished by the actors. As he believes that actors are a major part of films. He has co-written several of his films with his brother Jonathan, and he runs the production company Syncopy Inc. alongside his wife, Emma Thomas. Now, Nolan’s upcoming movie is Oppenheimer a biopic based on J. Robert Oppenheimer, it is his first R-rated film since Insomnia. This movie will be released on 21 July 2023 and we all are eagerly waiting for this film.
