AU to offer:
Megatron calls the DJD before he defects and tells them they are moving on to Phase 7 (canonly Repopulation) convincing them it's a long scheme now that the population is so low and Tarn ever obedient sees Megatron join the Lost Light and shows up informing Rodimus they are joining his quest and supplies Ultra Magnus with all the specific laws for defectors, offers some of the List as payment, and, as they've prepped, has all the DJD pass the Autobot test with flying colors.
Rodimus is petty enough to invite them on to get back at Megatron who is uncomfy and he has a type.
So now Tarn has ordered the DJD to make friends and propagate, deciding that as their leader he must have someone of equivalent rank and so goes for Rodimus who is lonely and the type to make friends through sex cue rocking Tarn's world right into Tarn being the "crazy, posessive girlfriend" and Rodimus being strangely delighted that someone wants to lock him down since he's mostly a fuck buddy not lockdown mech and may be rebounding emotionally. A little.
Megatron watching from the side horrified only spurs him on.
Background plot of DJD attempting to seduce Autobots and gleeful reporting the results and a very smug Tarn accomplishing this first. With Rodimus taking impending baby trap surprisingly well and starting a competition to baby proof the LL as part of his preparation and listening to baby books as audiobooks during shifts.
Also Rewind is trying to kill them in the background while Chromedome attempts to stop his husband from pissing off the murder death squad.
(And, wow, they just found Dominus Ambus who mysteriously lost his memory of the passed several hundred years how mysterious don't look too closely at the Pet's absence. Here Rewind your husband. This is not a cleverly planned distraction/cover up of some questionable behaviors.)
Ohhhohoh
Oh this sounds fun, this right here is a whole ass crack fic
I've only read like one or two Roditarn fics ever, and this right here provides such an interesting situation with Tarn in full "oh so it's finally time for the 'facing part of the plan!!!!!!", the DJD becoming this odd mix of autobot adjacent and yet decepticon adjacent, Megatron just being damn traumatized by this turn of events, Rodimus fucking rolling with the baby trapping and going full dad mode, Chromedome absolutely seething with barely if at all controlled rage, Rewind gets a husband back meaning he either has an ally in preventing Domey from basically committing sudoku or he has two idiot conjunxes to deal with, and possible shady shit feat. Dominus Ambus.
What the hell have you done and how do I plead that we can do so much more??

April has begun, a new month, a new start.
To celebrate the First of April, I've decided to embark on a new project. Some might say it's a little Foolish when I have so much else to do, but it must be done:
Fate: the Re-Winxed Saga!
We'll be starting off with a fixing of the reason Bloom ran away from home. I don't know about anyone else, but I always found it jarring how Bloom essentially had two sets of parents played by the same actors.
One pair were abusive a$$hats, on of whom thought their daughter was a freak, the other was basically a doormat with no opinions of their own, meanwhile the other couple were loving and “always knew she was meant for bigger things”.
So I've changed the reason behind Bloom's house burned down, and restored her artistic talents to her. There's nothing wrong with liking repairing old lamps, but we saw it once to point out how much of a “weirdo” she was, and then it was gone.
I've also added in a bit to explain how Farah found her, while maintaining Stella's OG presence in the scene.
I know there's a prequel book out (soon?) now that's supposed to fill in that blank, but I've just gone ahead with it.
Warnings for minor implications of sexual assault that never actually happened.
Here we go:
Fire\Starter
Bloom's sleep was fitful.
She felt hot in her dreams, flushed with embarrassment and rage as Mitzy's obnoxious laugh played on infinite repeat. The condemning looks from her peers, from strangers on the street, plagued her like a thousand daggers.
In the waking world Bloom's body kicked back her sheets and writhed like she was fighting off an attacker.
In her dreams Bloom saw the sweetly deceitful face of Mitzy's cousin.
Bloom was an artist, she'd been drawing since she'd been young. Her art had won some competitions, small and local, but so important to her.
Important enough that her parents had bought her a graphics tablet for her birthday when all the other kids her age were getting bikes. It was the most expensive gift they'd ever gotten her.
She'd used it frequently, making digital art now alongside the more traditional paintings and sketches. She'd gotten good enough to be asked and paid for commissions.
And that's how Mitzy had managed to sneak her cousin in, to set a trap.
Moira had commissioned Bloom to make a 'tasteful nude' in 'that old European style, you know the one?' and Bloom hadn't thought anything of it. She'd let Moira into her home, into the converted solar-turned-art studio she'd been using for almost a full year now and...
Bloom had spent every day since cursing herself for not noticing the similarities. Moira and Mitzy looked so alike when you saw them together, Bloom didn't know how she'd missed it.
Maybe it was because Moira had smiled kindly, hidden her smirk and contempt better than Mitzy ever had.
Bloom had only touched Moira once, a gentle arm on the elbow to steady her while Moira was in her under garments, but the way she'd spun that into lies of assault...
Bloom could see it perfectly in her head, Moira laying casually on the couch of Bloom's studio, skin mostly bare and a sweet smile on her face.
In her dreams it warped into a smirk, lips cracking apart until Mitzy's laugh rolled out of the gaping maw. In her dreams, Bloom set Moira on fire.
Her rage, pure and true becomes an unstoppable flame, so hot it melts the walls, melts her tormentors skin. In the dream Bloom screams her rage and the world is consumed and-
-Bloom wakes, choking. She rolls to the side and tumbles from the sweat soaked mattress to the warm wooden floors of her room. Her gasping breaths drag the scent of smoke and paint into her lungs, but she ignores the remnants of her dream and tries to calm herself.
The scent doesn't fade.
It gets stronger.
Somewhere below her on the ground floor, glasses shatter and Bloom hears a familiar whoof. She'd heard it in her father’s educational videos on fire.
Her studio is on fire.
Her house is on fire!
“MUM! DAD!” Bloom screams as loud as she can, trying to remember what she's supposed to do. She tears her pillow case off her pillow, scrambles to put her laptop, graphics tablets and her three recharge cords into it before pulling her sheet free and wrapping it around herself.
She grabs her phone on the way out.
“MUM! DAD!”
Bloom makes her way to their room down the hall, the smoke in the air thickening.
“FIRE!!”
Her parents meet her at the door, their own sheet wrapped around them both to help filter the smoke, they have a few things as well.
Together they crouch down low and make their way down stairs, Bloom's father, Mike, already on his cell phone calling for the Fire Brigade.
They're almost free and clear when her mother, Vanessa, tries to head for the family office.
Bloom calls “mum, no!” at the same time her dad says “'Nessa stop!”
But Vanessa darts away, just past the office door to grab a single box and out again, away from the spread of the fire.
Bloom feels a flicker of relief for half a second before something in the house explodes, letting out a torrent of flame in her mother's direction.
Bloom screams and flings out her hand as if she could do anything to stop what's about to happen.
For a heartbeat Bloom feels something well up inside her, something dark and powerful, and the wave of fire splits around her mother.
The trio stand, stunned, until Mike comes to his senses, “'Nessa, move!”
And they bolt to the door together, out onto the small lawn in time to see the lights of the fire trucks round the corner.
-
In the days to come, they will recover the items which remain, few as they are. Bloom's childhood book of fairy stories was somehow untouched by the flames.
Mitzy will spread a new rumour about Bloom as part of her campaign to ruin Bloom's life, saying Bloom started the fire.
The investigation will rule it an accident, suspected faulty wiring in the art studio.
But Bloom knows, with an awful certainty: Mitzy was right for once, Bloom had started the fire somehow. She knows her parents suspect it too, but they won't say anything, not even about how Bloom had made the wave of fire part.
There's an elephant in the room now, it hovers awkwardly about their family, makes every conversation feel like trying to walk through broken glass in the dark without stepping on any.
Bloom tries not to go to sleep. She only makes it a few days before she finds herself constantly drifting off. Her parents watch her with fear, telling her to sleep.
But she can't, don't they understand that? What if she starts another fire?
She leaves their motel room, takes her phone and uses some of the money she earned from her art to by a sleeping bag and some snacks. Searches the internet for a place to stay with no people and as little flammable material as possible.
She finds an old warehouse that will do the trick. She buys a small fire extinguisher on her way there.
-
Her phone tells her she's slept for two days when she wakes up with a horrific dehydration headache.
She feels a little better for the sleep, she hasn't burned down the world while unconscious. There's a public showering area in a pool several blocks away, she manages to sneak in and get clean.
Begins to feel almost human again.
-
Bloom falls into a routine, sleeping in the warehouse, showering in the public washrooms, reading everything she can find on what the internet calls 'pyrokinesis'. The scientific side, or the fringe-science side of things feels wrong somehow.
She can't explain it, but something in her knows that's not the path she's looking for.
She tries folklore and myths instead. Feels pulled towards the stories of fae and dragons.
There's an abandoned quarry not far from town, and Bloom manages to make her way there with some candles, matches and her thankfully unused fire extinguisher.
She can't conjure fire, can't put it out, can't even provoke it. She's missing something, she knows, she can feel it.
Bloom comes across some 'majick' on one of the websites she finds looking for answers. A way to call a fae and force them to answer any questions you have. Bloom scoffs but takes a screenshot before backing out to another page.
Several days later she makes the mistake of looking at social media.
She's officially a runaway at this point, and Mitzy has used her absence to establish Bloom's guilt.
“Bloom burned her house down to fake her death to avoid facing charges of assault,” is the going theory.
It makes Bloom mad enough to set her sleeping bag on fire.
The following morning she buys a new one, and some things from the list of 'spell' ingredients. She's making no progress on her own, she's desperate.
Bloom returns to the quarry, she doesn't want the smell of incense in the warehouse, just in case. She fills a small bowl with water and a piece of quartz, waits for the moon to rise over head and does her best to match the google-translate’s reading of the 'some magical European language' the spell requires.
For a moment she sits, feeling like a fool, her eyes closed. Then she feels like she's falling.
Or flying?
There's a wind but it's intangible, a forest but it's colours are vibrant in a way Bloom's never seen, like they're leaking energy.
And then there's a tug, like someone has pulled her up short, and a woman with soft, pale brown hair and kind but curious eyes.
The woman opens her mouth but Bloom jerks back in shock, and startles so hard her leg flies out to knock over the bowl, spilling the water everywhere.
Bloom stays there for several long minutes, panting like she'd run a marathon, but then a real wind blows and her damp jeans go cold against her skin. She packs everything up and runs back to the almost safety of her warehouse.
-
Bloom is awoken by the sound of the warehouse door opening and closing. She's confused for a moment before the sound of two sets of footsteps has her scrambling upright, and out of her sleeping bag.
It's the woman from Bloom's... spell? Vision?
She smiles at Bloom, and Bloom feels herself relax.
“Hello, I'm Farah Dowling,” she gestures to herself. Behind Farah, a young woman, blonde and roughly to same age and nervousness level as Bloom, clears her throat slightly, so Farah Dowling adds: “And this is Stella,” Stella waves, “we're here to help you, if you'll let us?”
Bloom knows better than to trust strangers, but this woman had been in her vision.
“You can help me?” Bloom asks, her voice sounding far smaller and unused than she was expecting.
“I'd certainly like to try,” Farah says kindly, her hand reaching out to Bloom, letting Bloom make the choice.
Bloom gathers her things and takes Farah Dowling's hand, Farah squeezes it gently, it's comforting. Bloom sobs as she realises this is the first real human contact she's had in... weeks now.
“Come on,” Farah and Stella return to the warehouse door, “Stella, if you could?”
“Yes Miss Dowling,” Stella gives Bloom a quick eyebrow wiggle, like she's about to show off, and places her hand on the door.
'She has nice hands,' Bloom thinks distantly as the large sunburst ring on Stella's finger glows golden, the light spreading out to coat the door and it's frame.
When Stella opens it, the door no longer leads outside the warehouse, but out into a verdant forest. Bloom can smell the leaf litter, there's the smell of moisture, like there's rain about to fall.
Stella steps through into the forest, holding the door open for Farah and Bloom to follow.
“Welcome to Avalon,” Stella says as she sweeps out an arm to indicate the trees around her, “home of Alfea school for Heroics and Fairies.”
“Fairies?” Bloom can feel herself smiling, excitement building. Her parents had always affectionately despaired at her life long obsession with the mythological creatures.
...her parents...
Bloom wavered.
“Can, can I just have a moment to text my parents?” Bloom looks between the two... women? Fairies? She's afraid that any second this will turn out to be a dream, or worse, real and she'll somehow throw away her chance.
“Of course,” Farah says, her voice full of understanding, “take all the time you need.”
“As long as you only need ten minutes,” Stella cuts in, “because that's how much longer I can hold this doorway open.”
Farah gives Stella a fond but exasperated look.
Bloom shakes her head, “I only need two minutes, tops.” She pulls out her phone, spends thirty seconds undoing the call blocker and sends her text before reinstalling the blocker, too scared to hear her parents reply.
What if it was “stay gone”?
“I'm ready,” Bloom says, and Farah ushers her through into Avalon.
-
[I'm OK. Sorting some things out. I Love You Both.]
Mike and Vanessa almost collapse in relief, their baby girl is alright. They tell the police to stop actively looking for Bloom, but to keep an eye out, and to tell her they miss her if she's seen.
The pray she'll come home on her own.

I know there are big detractors of enchantix. but I'm thinking about
either messing up timelines in the au so that it's really the final form (and they stay at the collwgue/university the whole time)
or making the first enchantix (the one that's a graduation mark) a fake enchantix. a totally different transformation. and true sacrifice (for anyone, no racism) is the last way.
No other options comment, please and thank yoi

I would absolutely love your thoughts on the Mermaids of Andros. I wish they were more... well fishy in appearance, fin ears, scales on their skin, ect ect. And why do they have wings like fairies but can't go on land and be something similar to fairies? I'd just love your opinions. (From one Winx Hyperfixation to another)
Hi! THANK YOU for asking!
In my AU Mermaids ARE fishier in appearance. Fin ears, scales, gills, everything check here. Smaller noses. Membranes between the fingers (those on the feet also for when they are able to separate their tail into legs) Their canon wings are here actual dorsal fins not wings (not rigid ones though but like the hand and ear membranes) here.
They are clumsy on land and need to be well hydrated (which makes Aisha/Layla admired because the girl has trained hard for her athletic skills and not only overcame her disability, she outperformed normal people!)
About fairy mermaids! Their wings becomes giants and wrap their legs. And the also get "wing/fin ears". The caudal fin looks like the wings of the fairy (changes according winx form)

Deimix,
"The opposite transformation to Believix" I said opposite but its their own form, nothing like dark/sirenix, dis/enchantix
Deimix is achieved when you make are surrounded by people afraid of fairies/witches and you consciously decide to use those emotions to your advantage. The more fear, the more people around you, the more power. It strengthens mental magic, subconscious, emotion and illusion magic.
This transformation has its origin in the Three Ancestral Witches and the War, although it is known of people who have obtained it and managed to use it for therapeutic purposes or who have even learned to use their own fears as a source of energy, which is what keeps it in limbo from entering "forbidden transformation".
As the current form of the Ancestral Witches, they are as powerful as the plot demands (like the rings of the yellow lantern in DC Comics). Daphne, as a Nymph may or no may have adquired this form (Actually, achieved it, but only use it in war times)
In witches, the eyes become a solid color, the makeup so thick and magical that it seems to float around the witches' faces. This form usually dyes their extremities the color of the witch's magic and they wears long, more or less ceremonial clothes, somewhat torn.
The fairies are covered in long garments, extraordinarily bleached by time, some color still resists in them. Most wear masks to conceal embellished features to what some consider inhumanity (eyes also one solid color). Her hands and feet are slender and delicate, reminding you of tree branches.
So, yes its basically "Daphne and the 3 Witches were in the same transformation"

WINX FANDOM: BRAINSTORMING a NEW FORM
Too much fairies transformations, help me design a FREE WITCH fan transformation (or a dual fairy-witch form) because being a witch is not being bad!!! (If that were the case, people wouldn't let a school for that exist so openly!!!)
What do you expect but never gets when the Trix get a new transformation?
Aesthetics, clothes! I'm sure you have some "must have" in mind!
What comes to your mind when you think in a witch from winx? I think in the Hex Girls from Scooby Doo!
I confess I would have liked to see them in the Gothic Harmonix. Or something related to Hecate and the triple goddess (For those who are interested in a triumvirate coven, you usually see Maiden, Mother/Lady, Crone (Personally Stormy, Darcy and Icy). More weirdly they add a fourth as the Shadow)
I had this quote is an inspo "Crone comes from crown, indicating wisdom emanating from the head; hag comes from hagio meaning holy; and witch comes from wit meaning wise"
Credits to everyone who contributes

Here's a silly confession. Growing up I thought discolored locks of hair were a sign of power among witches (the Trix, Griffin)
By that rule I-dont-remember-the-name Ederaviola? just got a power up. Also Lazuli and Rhody I guess That fits my current witch origin! Flora hc... oh my god Sky is a witch!!!

So, now that I'm being really serious with rewinxing (hahahha, I wish)... Ships!!!!! But, for real.
Only 100% sure is AishaxFlora because that was a fantasy of mine as child. I swear for all Ethereals' madness and Arcadia's underappreciated sanity I legitimately believed they create Aisha for Flora but they did not know how to make it work and for so it that their profiles said one bestie is the other. That's was my conspirancy theory as a child.
Then. I'm semiserious about Bloom x Brandon or Bloom x Stella or literally Bloom x (not Sky, and I mean almost everybody else as I include Valtor, Riven, Stormy, Darcy, Icy, Diaspro, Nereus, Palladium, et all ♡). But Brandon x Stella it's SO perfect so sweet so supportive each other since second one... I do not like that because I'm a envious hag. And I don't like Flora x Helia because Helia did not try enough.
Secondary ships I'm not gonna change are Varanda x Roxy and Arcadia x Nubia but that's all about subtext.
Onesided Mirta x Flora was a thing.
I would like more 'crack ships'. I like my Diaspro she deserves all or nothing or whatever she wants. I see most chemistry between Sky and Riven than with Bloom...
The only way to improve Timmy x Tecna is to do an ot4 with Musa and Riven (say thank ems). But I only ship Musa and Riven in the heartrouching concert episode, the comics and the live action, so...
*keep thinking outloud...*

What do you think an alternate version of enchantix gained by killing to protect would look like? 'Cause it's one thing to sacrifice but a totally different thing to kill
I think I answered that in a post a while ago. Oh well. Depends. It doesn't have a pink answer. I don't think this is the answer you are looking for anon.
There are those who believe in the death penalty and those who do not. Is abortion murder, or is it not? There are those who believe in do euthanasia and those who do not. There are those who believe that life is sacred and others who believe that if you only survive, not live, it is not worth living. That if you love someone, sometimes it's best to let them go (Or help them leave).
It is the philosophical question, is a life worth more than hundreds of people? (whether you know the person or persons or not)
Do you understand what I'm trying to say? It depends on how you see the life that it would be an achievable transformation or not. I think it is too particular to give rise to a homogeneous transformation. Taking into account people, cultures, societies, lots of factors. How knows, kill itself could be a sacrifice to get Enchantix (sacrifice of a person, of morals...)
Of course the sacrifice in Enchantix at 1st appeals to self-preservation. But on an experiential level, suicides usually want to erase specific parts of themselves, not the whole.

Rewinxing Realms - Andros
I feel like I have left things to say but ...
In Rewinxing, Andros has a solarpunk aesthetic, also markedly inspired by Otoh Gunga (the underwater city of Naboo in Star Wars).
Its current culture is based on the Victorian era (rigid clothes help merpeople move in land more stably), in its beginnings it resembled Acadia-Mesopotamia. Although it’s considered a single kingdom it is divided into two "duchies" ruled by two branches of the same family.
Andros is a planet (not too populated given its size) bigger than our sun in the Cassiopeia System, with a single sun named Utu and 8 moons. In the same System there are several planets, to be highlighted as "habitable" the planet-prison Omega, and Serenia.
Andros is covered almost entirely by water and populated mostly by merpeople. Cities are made so that several of their sectors can be flooded at will to allow more aquatic population to live in it or on the contrary, more terrestrial population.
Their cities are beautiful, and they have managed to fill even the deepest ones with light, if possible, from the surface. They even have "terrariums" with some birds which are highly esteemed on their planet because Andros onest are very resistant creatures since they move from land to land on a planet where there are hardly any.
Its citizens have made the most of the energy of the tides and later the sun to develop their culture. That the portals to the Infinite Ocean are more common in aquatic areas and therefore are not rare in Andros facilitated communication and the extension of their race not only with other planets, but with other systems. The current guardian of the Infinite Ocean is a merpeople, but she was born in ancient Hike (Magix).
On land, temperatures are usually high, with very strong winds and little rain. Under water, however, there are entire continents, although their limits do not define them as humans would. Merpeople use fauna and flora to define territories. And their own species of course is not the same native of the glaciers as of the Androsian equator.
The first merpeople quickly learned the advantages of race mixing for them, and were once the most enterprising and adventurous even though they arguably had the most limitations to it. Due to conflict InterRealms are now more closed. They still maintain good relations with the elves, the second races they contacted (1st were gigants), thanks to encounters in underground waters during cold winters on other planets.
They have a special algae fabric (kinda silk priced) that is practically waterproof and at the same time soft, their colors are naturally blue and purple and they are difficult to dye but I assure you that the Androsians have succeeded. After much trying and with the help of materials from other planets that they now cultivate on their moons. So wearing pale colors is a sign of wealth. Then there is another one with less resistance (cotton priced) that is green and quite common, and that one is impossible to dye but familiar, Aisha love its. They also export marine jewelry but are considered largely self-sufficient and the exchange is for luxuries and entertainment.
Morphix is a substance that they also export and it is what creates the bubbles in their cities. Very expensive since it is very malleable and versatile also has good tolerance to the magic-technology mix (can be done without morphix of course)

Boys hc’s feats Diaspro
Riven
Riven Cassios was born to two Omega prisoners. What surprised everyone, because staying healthy enough to carry out a pregnancy on a planet that sucks your magic is... Obviously the Rocalucce Council keeps an eye on the planet, they took him out of there because no child would pay because his parents, and he has been in foster homes, although it doesn't last long since the requirements for his adoption were more strict than most -which in the long run the Council would realize was COUNTERPRODUCTIVE for his character-. That is what Darcy detects and why the high spheres are somewhat "permissive" with him.
His mother died giving birth, it was already miraculous that she lived so long and ‘bout his father I think I'm going to kill him too, maybe. The father I assure you would be love him (he called Riven to himself Daru, his gift) thought was not his initial idea, the mother always saw him as an experiment (she was a witch who followed the Ancenstresses). Ohm, also in his blood there are dark elves and giants.
Riven surname is actually the name of the galaxy where he was born or a derivation of it, as is common for orphans. So the boy knows NOTHING about the above.
Timmy and Riven are the only specialists who have passed the full course at Fonterossa, without skips. In the end they bond about it. Timmy gives him a recommendation to work as a part-time mechanic at Magix (good boy face, he knows how to use it)
Timmy
Timeus “tshhhh, it’s Timmy.... i’m not my grandfather” fulfills the physique requisits as much as any other specialist, but it is true that his physique and abilities, adapted to the distance, give him a more "feline" air.
He is also the one who wakes up at night and moves silently, scaringthe rest of the squad if they wake up unexpectedly.
His glasses are for both sight and Aura Vision. His parents are rich enough to pay for an operation, but since he would have to wear glasses for his ability anyway, why? Practical guy.
And the glasses make people look down on him, something that when his self-esteem is high and he’s being rational and cunning he knows it’s wonderful, although many others times may hurt. He is mostly leprechaum with something human.
Nex
Nex is still a Paladin born in Lymphea and with blood of literally ALL races. He adapts well to any planet, although not its people at first. His race mix makes his face “charismatic”, like always draw attention even if people don’t know very well why they are draw.
His ability is Delay Sleep. It allows him to hold over his need to sleep for days without going crazy or losing physical capacity or needing many days to recover (he can stay awake for 5 or more days, sleep 8-10 hours and go back to being his usual self). Sometimes he does not control this well and has plenty of energy in need of drop but he is the one who has the most control of his ability.
One of his parents spent time in Rocalucce Fortress as a "guest" so at times he feels like he has something to prove.
Roy
Coming from Andros, most of the population are merpeople with a few elves and humans. which avoids the 100% aquatic population. Roy, unlike Aisha is mostly human-elf with a bit of merpeople in a grandgrandgrand level. One of his parents comes from one of the colonies on the moons of Andros and he was born there although they moved almost immediately.
Roy’s paladin ability being the canon “Triton Aura” used to breathe underwater. That and learning to swim and drive all kinds of water vehicles was what made him feel "adapted" to Andros. But he always try to be useful.
He only became a Paladin at the beginning of season 6, and it was visiting him that the season began. He’s bi but he thinks of himself as straight.
Nabu
I plead guilty to liking Nabu even though I shipped Aisha with Flora and Nex. So I have a hard time thinking about him. Except, EVERY time I try to think of something. EVERY TIME. Rapunzel. So, he will never cut his hair.
But with an island instead of a tower and a babysitter (male and wizard) more dumbledoor (not, actually more like Newt Scamander mentor like).
Sometimes he misses out on some "social customs/things/normalcies" whatever is called due to his little dealing with people. He may seem naive or that don't understand sarcasm. He understands and learns quickly, but people were very respectful to him and there are things he is not used to. 1/2 merpeople 1/4 half elf 1/4 human as both of his parents are half merpeople.
He likes to swim as much as any merpeople, but they didn't let him do it much because they were afraid he would go away or lost, so he usually went off "to the heights", going up to the rooftops and things like that.
Helia
Helia is trans but keeps his first name as chosen name which I don’t understand. Also he has formally tried study practically everything he wanted. Specialist, Paladin, Wizard (of Threads). Painter.
He can't make up his mind, his family hurries him just to STOP making them dizzy and spend a few years with everything -and actually end a single “major” choice- he wants to experience, that he has a very long life and can dedicate a few decades to Everything and they can support them. Well, more or less, but he was vip pass to all these options because family connections.
Long story about Sky, Brandon and Dia.
Sky, Brandon and Diaspro's first meeting was a show. Has it all. Costumes, lies. Confusion. Kidnapping. And that is why Diaspro insists on the wedding (I would like to mention that although I don’t know her romantic orientation yet surely bi or lesbian, here, Dia is asexual. And Sky is non-binary but his parents do not approve so go for he/him to avoid problem with them. And here our story begins)
A bit of background. Brandon actually hails from Isis, the son of the military and was chosen by the whimsical chibi!Diaspro as a playmate and future personal guard (because then she believed that touching children gave "lice" and her character and age did not have the 18like wall of royal education, then in a random encounter he called her among many things what Dia's mind translated in a strange way "uncracked geode", which is a double-edged compliment in Isis that many would not accept from strangers but she liked it). Rarely they would end up becoming friends in the end. When the series begins, Brandon and Diaspro keep up with calls, which will prevent Dia's reaction with Bloom on the one hand.
On a visit (officially only from the kings of Erakyon to to the kings of Isis) for the children to get to know each other, somehow, they all ended up happily dressing up, with Sky and Dia looking like two pretty princesses and Brandon assessing whether his dress would be green or yellow because Diaspro insisted that she and Sky had already taken the blue and red and so it would be more "thematic".
Here began the first of many attacks on Sky's head, because before it had begun to be rumored (true) that Erendor had fertility problems (btw his race dwarf-high elf and Samara is leprechaum-high elf, Sky gots mostly high elf part). When they came in and saw two girls and a boy, Brandon, not the highest IQ, but one of the wisest of his team and definitely the best fighter, played along so he ended up pretending to be Sky (also helps that his hair colors looks like Erendor) Everything worked out well in the end, although Brandon ended up as Sky's squire (better for him, worse for Diaspro), and Diaspro made Sky promise that he owed her a big favor. Anyway they grew up over the years in friendship and they both knew they were not of each other's true love interest, but, they could put up with each other (because that's what royalty does).
Sky and Diaspro have a sonorous (affectionate) war over Sky's hair to annoy/exasperate Brandon. Diaspro always complains that he doesn't grow it and it would look great then. Sky says that he is fine as with his hair at it is (it's actually Erendor's thing). The soft part of Diaspro that she doesn't usually show off has taught Sky many ways to style his hair and subtly put on makeup to look more feminine if he wants to.
How I am amused by that image from wikipedia and that Diaspro entered Sky's guard so quickly. Another headcanon is that Diaspro would sometimes change her appearance a bit and go into Sky's guard to be with Brandon to annoy him and Sky, when Brandon has to talk about her without giving details, she is simply "his sister Charbonne" (she hates that alias). They were discovered when she was 15 years old but she had already trained and the royal families considered it a sign to formalize the engagement since “they search each other” (people only sees what they wants).
The Diaspro family is not good, first Brandon was a shield (emotional) because as a child they were not “that” bad and then Sky joined him (physically and politically), handling things with Bloom so like that was not a good idea when the floor was full of cracked bottles.
... omg i’m sorry you three i’m sorry what I did to you
Also, Brandon's ability as a green user is very interesting and helps with this a lot. I temporally call it “Keypoint Warning” and I like it a lot, it's like a "tic" that tells him "be careful, what you say, what you do now, even the smallest thing could change everything for youself (for better or for worse)”. He actually has a scar on his forehead (not a lightning bolt) that his hairstyle hides after “that” day but a little less fine on the words and the kidnappers might have broken his mouth so... His parents have been cured (spoiler: no) of heart attack since then.
