Actual worst part of writing: Writing. No okay I’m getting better in my bitterness towards the craft of writing, so I’d say starting and getting into the motion of the ocean is the worst part. But once I get into it, it’s 10k town, population: me

How do you choose your titles: Is a Diana Ross’ lyric suitable? If not, is a Wislawa Szymborska’s quote suitable? If not then I just bother my friends until we come up with a title TOGETHER as a FAMILY

Do you outline: No, but I should. See the section I’ve Never Written A Multi-Chapter Before—not outlining is the main reason why

Ideas I probably won’t get around to but wouldn’t it be nice: So there’s this canon divergent thing I’ve been daydreaming nonstop about where Ian has a biological daughter (it’s a long story) and is an aspiring lawyer, and Mickey is a sous-chef (at least that’s what Yev calls him, he just makes burgers in a diner lmao) and they meet again after years and years (they haven’t talked/seen each other since Mickey got arrested). Angst, hilarity and all that’s in between those ensues. The problem is that in my mind this is a 200k-250k ordeal and there’s not way on god’s green earth I’m writing all those consonants and vowels

Spicy tangential opinion: Shoulder kisses in fics are underrated! I write a lot of fluff but I read virtually none because it gives me too many conflicting feelings! Southside thugs in the mirror are smaller than they appear! Slow-burns are the closest thing to perfection there is! Please don’t let characters kiss first thing in the morning, that’s gotta be nasty I can feel it in my bones!
