When I told my players in Snare that the book on the Slasher’s table in The Hare was a fiction novel about two cannibal serial killers in love, they misunderstood what I said, and assumed I meant a non-fiction true crime type book. When the characters started talking about the cannibals in the book as if they were real, I let it happen and decided that was much funnier. Later on, I made a film starring these two killers. Then snoozlebee said “Hey, can I play the author of that book? And the killers can capture him, because they’re pissed that he basically wrote naughty fanfiction about them and published it as a sensational non-fiction book?” Of course I said YES! They then created Tom Ravenshead, depicted here. Tom was under the delusion for almost the entire film that the cannibal killers were super cool with what he did. (He’s kind of in love with them. He wanted what they had.)

ah! hello!

here's the things, there's a pretty large volume of background or side characters due to the Castle acting as a central hub for TAHVA (which is a pretty massive agency) so there are a lot of nameless npc agents just working there in the background all the time

same with new coma city, it's pretty populated with extras

there are some side characters that exist as individuals but a few of them i haven't even named yet 0-0

off the top of my head there's patchwork's girlfriend squad (stephanie from accounting, large dragonling lady, golden retriever dogboy, and shark mermaid underwater gf) and couple of coworkers that verne is buddies with and knows the coffee/boba orders of

there's also the rest of the council! most of the main characters in the castle crew are part of the council: rev, rupee, jay, iden, mckenzie, mixi and synth technically, petals and baron. but there are a few more characters that make up the council as well!

let's see, sal and ravenshead are two (if you've seen the guy with the minecraft salmon box head that's sal, the raven head guy is ravenshead). they don't get along well and only show up in the same room at council meetings. like most of the castle crew, when the tma crossover began they became avatars of entities.

honestly i'm having a hard time remembering if there's anyone else on the council so there prooobably isn't, at least not in terms of side characters.

there's also clarence hunter, who is lucien's father and also showed up on creaturae after the story they came from ended. he works directly for rev as a researcher and also does science-y things in his spare time. he's not involved in most of the main plot things but he does end up an avatar as well and has the job of corralling the couple of tma villains that show up in creaturae (he's pretty good at it)

speaking of lucien, the version of him from darkjay's timeline also shows up a few times! him and darkjay don't spend a lot of time at the castle anymore (for entity conflict reasons) but he's on good terms with everyone there

the version of adrian from whit's timeline also makes an appearance, he goes by hunter and he's sort of a freelance agent that works for rev on occasion? i'm not entirely sure his role in the story but him and whit have a personal arc they go through

i think that's about it for side characters? i dunno i might've missed some XDD there's a lot here tho. as for a definitive favorite, well! i’m very bad at making decisions but sal has the bonus of originally being a sona design lol

Just discovered this lovely video made by a band called Shanks’ Pony. It’s about the true story of the murder of Bessie Sheppard, which is now part of the local folklore of Mansfield and Ravenshead. It was recently 200 years since the sad event. Her memorial stone still exists by the side of the road. I must go and find it one day.

oh hello!

k so. thing is i have a LOT of ocs knocking around in a world called creaturae that has literal years of lore and worldbuilding and whatnot, so it's hard to summarize in one post, but i can give you a rundown of some of the main players! and if you're interested in knowing more, there's a lot on my blog under the #creaturae tag :D

creaturae is known as the end of all stories- it's the place all stories go when they die. that includes locations, artifacts, legends, and even people. anything can appear in creaturae once the story they're from is finished. and due to creaturae's place outside of the typical timestream, this means whenever i want them to appear. things mostly travel to creaturae via rifts between dimensions, but sometimes they just show up randomly. the main protagonist group is nicknamed the castle crew, and it includes a council overseeing the planet of creaturae. one of those council members is the head of an organization called tahva (it's an acronym, no i don't know what it stands for lol) that's tasked with protecting both the planet and the universe and upholding peace. neither the council nor tahva have any sort of government influence over the place, they're just there to make sure any threats to the overall universe or planet are taken care of.

there are a variety of magic systems, technologies, magitechs, places, and species on creaturae. basically anything you could imagine exists there. also, due to creaturae's status as end of all stories, no one can die a natural death there- although there are still plenty of ways to get killed.

the council consists of rev (who is also the tahva leader), rupee, iden, jay, sal, ravenshead, verne, petals, baron, mixtape, mckenzie, and dorian. of those, rev, rupee, iden, jay, verne, petals, mixtape, mckenzie, and baron live at the castle, while the others live elsewhere.

rev is a dragonling, a species that descended from a mix of half-dragon/dragonborn/etc species and became it's own thing overtime. they founded tahva after the incidents involving iden's backstory shenanigans and swore to protect creaturae from any threats that may befall it. they're skilled in all magic they could get their hands on.

rupee is a bit of a free agent, he's good friends with the others who live at the castle and helps rev with tahva business if/when he feels like it, otherwise he just kinda does his own thing. he's a shapeshifter of sorts who's current form is humanoid with the legs, tail, and ears of a feline and bright red birds wings.

iden is currently still on the tahva "potential threat" watchlist due to backstory shenanigans where he was the main antagonist for a while. he's reformed, but due to the severity of his actions the majority of his (rather substantial) power/magic has been restricted and he's encouraged to stick close to the castle. he's humanoid with pig or goat legs, tusks, a monkey tail, feline-esque ears, and small pink bird wings at his waist.

jay, along with her husbands lucien and adrian, were from a different story (deviantverse) and appeared in creaturae after that story ended. jay's the only one of the trio on the council but they all three live at the castle most of the time. jay occasionally goes on missions for rev. she's a species known as deviants (similar to mutants/superhumans) from her world and is basically human but with some grey owl features such as feathered ears and wings.

sal is the representative of their people, an endangered species of fish-people (not mermaids or sirens- a fish-based subspecies analogous to catboys/dogboys/etc). his skill in magic and chronic wanderlust allows it the opportunity to see the world.

ravenshead is a bit of a wild card. as the name suggests, he has the head of a raven with an otherwise human stature, and his species is unclear. he has a fascination with the skies and space and uses his expertise to help rev and tahva predict when rifts between dimensions will appear.

verne is rev's personal assistant despite only working for tahva for about a year before gaining the position. he appeared on creaturae after the fanfic he was originally from was abandoned, and as such as few clear memories of his world. he's basically human but creaturae's magic mixed strangely with nanotech from his world to give him a powerful regeneration ability.

petals is a dogboy and good friends with rupee. his position on the council is due to a former personal relationship with dapper, who is a current main antagonist. he's a bit of an angsty boi and one of the youngest council members.

mixtape is... complicated. they're currently my self-insert character but i've given them a backstory on creaturae that boils down to a strange connection with c.c. (main antagonist) and them losing their memories to a wizard's curse and ending up babysat by rupee and joining the castle crew. due to plot shenanigans they are now creaturae's archive.

mckenzie is a part-enderman part-something humanoid who works as a story collector. their job is basically to travel creaturae and collect and share stories they find along the way. it's a very important job and helps to keep the stories that find their way to creaturae from fading into obscurity. they're one of mixtape's closest friends.

dorian is a chaotic force and probably one of the biggest threats to creaturae's well-being- that is if he cared to do anything other than party it up in the labyrinth and occasionally annoy the castle crew. he's on the council due to his status and influence over the labyrinth but he rarely shows at meetings.

there are plenty of others living at the castle who aren't on the council, including synth, lucien, adrian, a multitude of cats, and the hundreds of tahva employees that live and work there (given that the castle is also tahva's headquarters).

one last thing i'll mention is that there's a species(?) called death-gods that exist in creaturae. none are born but anyone can become one, all you have to do is win a death-game. currently death-games are being tracked down and shut down by tahva as they were frequently used to rope people into blood contracts to server as personal bodyguards and assassins for the rich. a few of our main cast are death-gods due to participating in death-games in the past for various reasons. to win, you are the only survivor, and you always come out with blood on your hands. but becoming a death-god grants you great power, and that power will merge with your own and your self to become something all your own.

death-gods include: dorian (unclear when/why he joined a death game, now a death/chaos god), iden (unwittingly joined a death-game as a teen and won), rev (joined a death-game because they thought becoming a death-god was the only way to get powerful enough to achieve their goals), and jay (forced into a unique death-game after losing a bet with dorian)

there are also a species thats name is somewhat unclear, they're known as red kings, blood kinds, or blood gods depending on the translation. they're ancient and multiverse-spanning beings, incorporeal in their normal state and able to be summoned to aid (usually kings/leaders) in times of war and violence. they possess the one that summoned them and lend their power until the contract is met or dissolved by failure.

rupee is a red king (the name 'rupee' is a nickname shortened from 'red king parzival') who was summoned by iden (who then went by parzival) during his villain arc to help him take over creaturae or something along those lines. after iden was released from prison due to reforming and whatnot, he gave rupee his own physical form. rupee can still possess others- though most of the castle crew are too powerful to be possessed- and he retains his powers and abilities. he does not, however, retain any memories form before he was summoned by iden.

A film actress and her martial arts instructor husband have been jailed for child sex offences.

Zara Phythian - who appeared in Doctor Strange with Benedict Cumberbatch - sexually abused a 13-year-old girl together with her husband Victor Marke.

Marke also sexually abused a 15-year-old girl on his own.

At Nottingham Crown Court, Phythian, who is 37, was jailed for eight years while her husband, 59, was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Judge Mark Watson said Marke was the "driving force behind the abuse".

Addressing Phythian, the judge added: "Whilst you denied in cross-examination that you were besotted with Victor Marke, on the evidence I have heard I am in no doubt that your deviance was shaped by the influence that he had upon you from an early age."

The court heard the couple met when he was her martial arts instructor, and Phythian went on to have a successful career in martial arts, as a stuntwoman, and actress.

Marke, from Mavis Avenue, Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire, was charged with four counts of indecently assaulting a child between 2002 and 2003.

The pair were jointly charged with 14 counts of sexual activity with a child between 2005 and 2008.

They both denied the offences but were found guilty by a jury and sentenced at the same court on Monday.

Marke was sentenced to four years for abusing the girl on his own and a further 10 years for the abuse of the second victim with Phythian, from Taurus Close, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

Phythian - who was tried under her married name of Zara Marke - was jailed for eight years for her part in the abuse of the second victim.

The first victim told the court that what Marke did to her "nearly broke my mum".

In a victim impact statement read to the court, the second victim thanked the first woman for telling the police.

She added she had been a "cheeky and socially awkward" 13-year-old who was an easy target for the pair.

"You robbed me of my innocence, corrupted me... leaving me unable to create good and balanced relationships," she said.

As she was led away to the cells, Phythian waved at the public gallery where a woman shouted: "I love you, Zara."
