Hey doll hey!!! Getting a late start today…. I woke up early but redid my face and brows like 4 billion times. I hope you are having a great day, or night depending on where you are. Today I used the blush and eyeshadow palette from the Tarte Cue the Confetti collection. So let’s get started…..

Base: I primed my face using the Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer ($45 at Sephora). For foundation I chose the BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation ($9.50 on sale for $7.13 on their website) in the color 208 Medium Beige. I concealed my under eyes using the Revolution Super Size Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer ($10 on their website) in the color C6.5. I set my face using the J Cat Beauty Aquasurance Compact Foundation ($13.99 at Ulta and on their website) in the color Natural. I warmed my face up using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($30 at Ulta). I then set my under eyes and baked my jaw line, center of my forehead, and bridge of the nose using RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website).

Eyes: I primed my lids using Tarte Shape Tape ($27 at Ulta) in the color Light-Medium Honey. I then set the Shape Tape using the color Candles (a cream matte) from the Tarte Cue the Confetti Eyeshadow palette ($19 at Ulta, Sephora, and their website). For my transition shade I used the color Celebrate (a grey-toned light brown matte). I deepened the outer 1/3 and inner 1/3 of my mobile as well as my crease using Loreal Colour Riche Eyeshadow ($4.99 at Target) in the color 308 Matte-Ison Avenue (a deep true brown matte). I also took this color to my lower lash line. On the middle 1/3 of my mobile lid I used the color Present (a bronze metallic). On the inner 1/3 of my mobile lid I used the color Sprinkles (a rose gold metallic).I used Hikari Cream Pigment ($15 on their website) in the color Honey Dew to highlight my inner corners. I used Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil ($24 at Ulta) in the shade 4.5 and Benefit Gimme Brow Gel ($24 at Ulta) in the shade 6 and then carved my brow line out using BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the shimmer side and set that using more of the color Candles, I then highlighted my brow line using Wet n Wild Color Icon ($.99 at Walgreens) in the color Sugar. I primed my lashes using the Loreal Voluminous Primer Base ($7.99 at Target). I then lined my waterlines using Revolution Pro Supreme Pigment Gel Pencil ($5 on their website) in the color Nude. For mascara today I am using Tarte Lights, Camera, Action Mascara ($23 at Ulta, Sephora and on their website).

Cheeks and Lips: For blush today I am using Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush ($29 on their website) in the limited edition shade from the Cue the Confetti collection B-Day Bae (a soft mauve matte). I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, bridge of my nose, center of my forehead, and Cupid’s Bow using the Racch Loves X Pixi The Layers Highlighting Palette ($24 at Target and on their website) in the shade Clutch. I lined my lips using NYX Slime Line Lip Liner ($4 at Ulta) in the shade Bloom (a hot berry pink) and filled the lips in using NYX Shout Loud Satin Lipstick ($8 at Ulta) in the shade 21st (a hot rose pink).

Final Thoughts:

Cue the Confetti Eyeshadow palette: A- The shadows are finely milled and blended smoothly. There was some kickback in the pans but no fallout on the face. The metallics work better when used with a damp brush. The only thing that this palette could use would have been a deeper brown shade.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Action Mascara: A++ I used this mascara today in conjunction with my favorite lash primer and the result was really good. There was no flaking, no crunchiness, and it did not clump.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush Limited Edition Shade B-Day Bae: A+++ This shade of mauve is so pretty on the face! It blends out beautifully, and isn’t at all chalky. The blush lasts a very long time too. I ordered a back up on this one.

NYX Shout Loud Satin Lipstick: A+++!!!! I love this lipstick. It’s comfortable, doesn’t feather or travel outside the lip line and it lasts a super long time. It also fades down evenly. I also love the candy scent to this lipstick and the color I chose is so pretty! I am already planing to purchase more shades.
