be me. obsessed with a fictional guy. he gets killed by his lover. lover describes killing him as "putting him down". builds entire dog motif off of this tiny line and views this character through dog symbolism for like a year. realises i am the only one obsessed with this character who hadn't read a semi-canon piece of written exposition from his perspective. he gets threatened to be "put down like a dog" in canon. this entire time i was inventing what already existed.

What are our boys gonna do if S/o randomly comes home from work with an old stay dog/cat. And are determined to keep it.

Lukas wouldn't be happy at all. He already doesn't like animals very much, but especially if it's a stray? He'd be completely against it. He would make it exceptionally clear to his s/o that he doesn't want it in the house and would be pretty disgusted. He'd keep complaining to you about the dog/cat leaving hairs everywhere and getting everything dirty, just completely being a drama queen. However, if his relentless bitching doesn't get you to get rid of the animal, he'll likely take matters into his own hands and 'send away' the pet secretly. When you're upset, wondering what happened to your pet, Lukas would come up with the excuse that it simply 'ran away' or got lost somewhere, trying to seem as sympathetic as possible (Which wouldn't be much) but on the inside, probably celebrating that the stray is finally out of the picture, as it should be.

Dr. Laurence would be conflicted on the matter. He could tell that the stray was precious to you, but he'd be on the fence. Don't get him wrong, he really does love animals, but stray animals can bring all sorts of diseases and germs. Just the thought makes him want to cringe. Still, he puts your happiness before anything, so begrudgingly, he'd accept the stray - but on VERY strict conditions. He'd likely give the stray cat/dog a very thorough examination, making sure it isn't carrying any bugs like fleas and most importantly, rabies. If it turns out the stray has anything that can jeopardize your health, Dr. Laurence WILL get rid of it no matter what, it is nonnegotiable. However, in the case that the stray doesn't have anything too serious, Dr. Laurence will allow you to keep it, but will keep it under a watchful eye and likely in a cage as well. After all, anything can happen and he certainly isn't taking any chances, no matter how excessive it might seem. He doesn't play around when it comes to your health and well being.

Demetrius would find it ridiculous - not because he doesn't like animals, but he just feels you don't really need a pet, especially since you're already provided with so many lavish gifts and everything you could possibly need, so why would you need a mangy cat/dog? Although Demetrius might not be the most supportive initially, he wouldn't be against you keeping the stray - if anything, he'd just be very indifferent and nonchalant, saying something along the lines of, "Just don't let it make a mess.". He'd mostly leave you responsible for your pet, not making much effort to take care of it. As the days become weeks and weeks become months, Demetrius would very slowly begin to warm up to the dog/cat. In the beginning, he barely touched it or looked at it at all for that matter - but as time progresses, he'd begin petting the dog/cat every now and then, giving it subtle acknowledgement before you'd eventually find him sitting down in the living room with the pet sitting across his lap. It would take some time, but Demetrius would become fond of the stray.

Dae-Hyun would be surprised at first when his s/o comes home with a stray cat/dog - mostly because he's never had a pet of his own and most animals don't seem to like him very much. Because of this, Dae-Hyun would likely be very reluctant when it comes to petting the stray or being remotely near it. He'd let you keep the pet since it seems to make you happy and help wherever he can. Truthfully, Dae-Hyun loves animals, but he's always been afraid of potentially hurting the little critters and that's the last thing he wants to do. His s/o would probably have to reassure him and show him how to hold the cat/dog and things like that. Once he's become more accustom to the pet, Dae-Hyun would practically be inseparable from it, taking any opportunity to feed, nurture and hold the stray. He knows what it feels like to be alone, so he'd give it plenty of company.
