Thanks to @stratumaesthetics for her amazing Tuesday Tip!..... “Who would have thought I would ever be talking about these kind of masks when it comes to skincare.... but here we are! If you want to get some tips about how to help your skin if your mask is being a jerk and causing issues visit my most recent blog post... but to prevent them in the first place, I’m really liking this face mask from @envypillow who are known for their anti-aging pillows, which I don’t have, but feel compelled to order after falling for the mask. It actually has copper woven into the fabric. And copper is kind of amazing. Recent clinical studies published in the Journal of Dermatology demonstrated that continued exposure to copper oxide-embedded textiles, significantly reduces depth of facial wrinkles and skin sagging and enhances skin elasticity and general wellbeing. Ummm Wut?!!! If that’s not cool enough, copper is toxic to harmful microorganisms (they are currently doing tests on COVID 19 but has been effective against other coronavirus.. it’s even effective against super bugs like MRSA 🦠 AND it is anti-oxidant and deeply anti-inflammatory! As soon as I put this on I could feel that it was soothing... but at first I was like okay well it’s a soft cloth- big whoop.. but as the day went on my skin just felt really good and not irritated or dry at all. I also love that the ear straps are like the softest weave you’ve ever felt so it doesn’t rub the ears raw at all.
