The Book of Lamentations continues with the last of the record of beautiful Seahouses and then back to Liverpool. The first was a drawing of the mist coming down, viewed through the harbour defences and out to sea. I was fascinated by how the mist could roll in off the sea even on a day that had been so cloudless I had got pretty sunburned. I loved that the horizon disappeared between sea and sky and realise that there is a blindspot in my brain that never lets me draw cars properly and also now won’t let me draw boats properly. While I was drawing some local fishermen arrived and moored a third small boat in the water which I added in to the drawing - they asked “have we fucked your drawing up now? “ but it seemed par for the course that a new boat would arrive and need including. The next one is a morning drawing further in the opposite direction when, again having the beach entirely to myself I found a large flat rock against the cliff and sat the Mindfulness of Breathing for about an hour then drew the view from my rock, of course including the Powder House. I find drawing after meditating is very blissful for the mind. On returning to Liverpool I carried on drawing but a month later we had the chance to do a socially distanced drawing day at Otterspool Prom for #liverpoolindependentartschool . I have developed this panoramic film some months ago and after scanning it I realised that this shot was taken before the lockdown was imposed in Bucharest. I realised that, as on the same film I had also photos I remember I took on the days that we were all indoors when I took my bike and went for a ride in a deserted town. I had set an easy target of 12 books in 2022 - One book per month. I was not regular in reading given the work circumstances but today as I finished off my 12th book of 2022, I am so elated.

There are several which I started but did/could not complete. Looking forward to finish them off ASAP.

@worldwide.fm what to say? I admit to being a little stunned and unable to articulate how I felt. Worldwide is the station that has schooled me since 2016 - and that when it all went tits up, got me up in the morning, every morning all the way through lockdown. It’s the station that welcomed me into the family and gave me the space (and the trust) to do something new and completely different (for a disco / house / tech head like me) with Accaliberation. The station that encouraged me to grow, to step out of my comfort zone, to explore and to dream a little. It’s the station that brought me out of my head and into my self and presented me to a completely new audience. It’s the station that brought me along for the @weoutherefest and @worldwide_festival_sete ride. It’s been an incredible few years and I owe Worldwide so much. So it’s with heavy heart 💜 that I received the news that it is time to press pause. I know we will come back bigger and better. I know I’ve made friends, built and reinforced bridges and found a new confidence through broadcasting thanks to the support of @gillespeterson @worldwide.fm @samfawcett @will_asare @ceylangoksel and the rest of the family. October’s show will be the last on WorldwideFM but I’m thinking of continuing it on my @mixcloud page just to keep the brain 🧠 elastic 🥇❤️💣 It’s been amazing. It will be amazing again. Thank you.
