Ghost the lazy dog!

First of all I wanna say I love you to this cute big fella over here. Hey there buddy! I know in dogs heaven you are happy already. I know you met your mom and dad there already and you are having a great time playing with the other dogs there. It makes me sad that all that is left now is the memories that you gave us. Those precious time that you spent with us will be treasured. I miss you so much dong. Some of you already experienced the pain of losing a dog. But for us he is not just any kind of dog that you’ll see in your daily life. Ghost is a family to us, a buddy to me, a playmate to my nephew’s and a companion in our family. So losing him was just like losing a member to your family. It hurts! really hurts tp the point that I I cant take it the fact that he is gone. Sometimes I blame myself for not playing with him. For not giving much attention to him when he expresses his excitement to us when one of us arrives at home by wiggling his tail and by jumping aroung. I miss those moment. Now it makes me sad that when I reached home no one will be there at the back of the door wiggling and jumping with excitement anymore. No one will carry know on my room early in the morning and ask for a walk. Im sorry if I wasn’t able to play with you more dong. Im sorry if when you needed me the most I was not there for you. Hope you’ll forgive me. For the people who have a dog or dogs please treasure them and don’t hurt them because dogs are not just an animal. Some people just let their dogs outside in a cage or some don’t even provide cages for them, they just tie them up in a corner and leave them in a hot and cold weather suffering. Please if you see some dogs like that spare some time and give them food or whatsoever. Dogs need affection also. Dogs gives you so many benefits in life. A security, a companion and a bestfriend so please treat them well. Hope all of us will be aware how important this creatures are.

Take it away Daisy! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 - All tips can apply to cat too, but cat make own rules. - Encourage doggo to stay in cool, shady spot. Do not shut us in space with no shade, or leave us in cars. We become hotdog and this NOT edible sort 🌭 - Damp towels GOOD. We like to lie on them. Do not make them freezing. This is not good for doggo. - Hot water bottle with COLD water! Please keep watch. Doggo like to chew. Hot water bottle not good for us like hotdog 🌭 - We like to play in water! Paddling pool and sprinkler in shaded area 💦 Yes, water wet but not worry hooman. It dry quickly in sunshine. Not recommend for cat. Cat make noises and look like drowned rat. - Plan walkies! It is hot. Pavement can burn beans. Early morning or very late evening and only in shade. Or skip walk and play with me instead 🐶 If ground too hot for you, it too hot for me too. - Hide treats in garden. Me like hide and seek. Do not throw balls. I have to chase them. Then I get hot dog 🥵 - Water! Leave bowls around, especially in shade. I need lots of water. - Trim doggo. I do not like trim but your doggo need haircut. ✂️ - Ask vet about sun cream. Doggo burn too. Especially noses. Protect noses. Do not bite vet. - Never place doggo in ice water! We can lick ice cube if we get poorly in heat, but not too much! The solution to solving the Greyhound racing problem relies on protesting an advocating against the races. Florida passed legislation last year in November of 2018 that agreed to end greyhound racing by 2020. Amendment 13 proposed to ban dog racing and 69% of voters were in favor. (Burch & Caron 2018) With Florida operating eleven of the seventeen tracks still around the U.S, it’s safe to say that the industry is dying. According to The New York Times in 2007 20,000 dogs were registered for races, ten years later the number has dropped to 8500. That passage is also a result of voting meaning the public recognizes the mistreatment and problem with the racing. When the Florida races officially come to an end the 3700 registered greyhounds won’t all become pets, some of them will continue to race. (PETA 2019) Races are still going in Arkansas, Alabama, Iowa, Texas, and West Virginia so with more advocacy/lobbying we can hope to ban dog racing everywhere. (Grey 2k USA Worldwide 2018)
