Everything went so fast. The separation from his platoon, the crash in this weird place. At least he was safe, without any big injuries. The small frog-like creature came out of his -now destroyed- ship. He crossed his arms. How was he supposed to contact the others if everything is broken? They just wanted to find some new planets to conquers, and now he’s all alone on an unknown planet... At least it didn’t seem hostile.

“Well, I’m really on my own this time...” There was a hint of sadness in his voice, but he quickly got back to his normal and cute self. He just needed to investigate a bit, maybe he could find something or someone who could help him.

Tumblr isn't familiar with her yet, but this is yet another TF2 OC of mine, Private.

Private is a fun tongue-and-cheek OC I made who is literally just me as a character. Her symbol (an open book/pointed heart) are based off of Tamama from an anime called Keroro Gunso / Sgt. Frog.

The joke is that her class was designed by Soldier when he had decided (without the Administrator's consent) that he needed a subordinate class. He designed everything from her artillery's (which includes a short-range rocket launcher, a hammer, and a switch blade knife), to her outfit. Why is she wearing a green handkerchief? He asked her favourite colour and she said green. The only reason why Helen let Soldier keep her is because he is paying her salary. Free mercenary? Why not.

She is meant to follow him on the battlefield, carrying a cargo bag that holds additional ammo and medkits (a walking dispenser) that can work for any class. Her speed is on par with Soldiers at 93%, but her health is the lowest with Scout's at 125. Her launcher is meant for short jumps, so she will typically lose Soldier during missions, her hammer can destroy sappers OR can temporarily disable sentries, teleporters, or dispensers for 20 seconds. Her knife can be swapped out for "apple a day" which supplies her health. She is part of the support classes and stands at 5'2" and is in fact another Canadian (though she lied to Soldier and told him she was American when she applied for the position). She is 25 years old and simps for Elvis.

Her headpiece is functional, and in game if a teammate was playing as Soldier, a notification would appear when they are close by. All of his dialogue could be heard from the headpiece at all times while being muffled the further away they are from the player (with the option to disable it lol).

Her helmet is not the same as Soldier's. Hers is the WWII Brodie Combat Helmet Mk II which were worn by Canadian soldiers in WWII. Notice the flat rim and how it sits on top of the head rather than the head fitting completely inside.

ANYWAYS MEET CORPORAL CAPAPA OF THE PRINTER INK PLATOON (which is an ACTUAL MILITARY PLATOON, that consists of at least 44 “keronians”, at least 6 of whom are not actual Keronians but other alien species’ like robot axolotians, salamandians (keronian mimic species) or other wacked up artificial keronians! i’ll let you do the math on that 💛) !!! He’s a weapons/explosives specialist just like Giroro (which honestly??? i didnt intend for them to be the exact rank and specialty, that just HAPPENED /gen /pos) and he’s rivals with Private 2nd Class Tamama ! ( dont ask me how that happened, Capapa just thought he was rude and an ingrateful little bastard 💛)

PERSONALITY

Capapa is easily excitable and very trigger happy, and he’s always willing to motivate his team to invade Pekopon ! He’s always wanting to lend a helping hand and do what’s right for both his platoon and Keroro’s >:] He’s very friend-oriented and likes making new friends, often giving new platoon members old guns he no longer uses as gifts !

BACKGROUND

Capapa comes from the species of Salamandians, which are the evolutionary predecessors to Axolotians and an imitation species to Keronians! More often than not, Salamandians imitate Keronian and Axolotian forms for the purpose of infiltration and hunting, in the case of Keronians. Capapa is a special case, as he is one of the few who actively do not hunt Keronians, and instead eats other meats such as pekoponian frogs, beef, etc.

Capapa grew up on Keron, participating in their military school system alongside perfecting their disguise, and grew a love for guns and explosives over time, eventually being granted the role of Corporal, directly under 1st Class Sgt. Lunana (an oc made by my pal @papermarioorigamikin !! ) as her second-in-command! Capapa, along with the rest of the Printer Ink Platoon, was sent to Pekopon to help Keroro’s platoon with the in-progress invasion.

BONUS INFO

- Bullet’s favourite foods are salmon and mac n cheese with ground beef, with pizza being a close second ! He also tends to enjoy energy drinks like Monster and also really likes lemonade.

- 🔫’s perception of Keroro is...mixed to say the least. On one hand, he sees that Keroro has the GREAT potential to be a wonderful sergeant, capable of anything he puts his mind to, but his incompetence and lack of drive to do anything that would be considered of great skill (aside from building his massive gunpla/gundum collection) frustrates them, as well as his general narcissism. It tends to talk to mainly Giroro and Dororo about such feelings, since Dororo, Giroro and Keroro were close, which are indeed resonated and returned amongst all three of them.

- As i mentioned before, Tamama and Capapa do not have a good friendship. At all. Capapa sees Tamama as a bit of a nuisance and even a spoiled brat at times, finding his attitude when he doesn’t get his way very...unprofessional, to say the least, for a Private 2nd Class, and Tamama often gets upset when Capapa either brushes him off or tells him he doesnt get special treatment for being the youngest/“cutest” of the group.

- Capapa is fully capable of switching between having the standard two eyes or the singular cycloptic look of their true form while in their keronian disguise, often doing such when surprised/flustered. [pictured below!]

So, I'm sort of doing a Keroro Gunsou reverse AU where the Keronians are all humans and the humans are all Keronians, with the main groups of each switching places. I posted designs earlier and here's some description about the characters and their roles.

Fyuki Hinata = Private Second Class Fyukiki: Known for being something of a screwup, he's only on the platoon because of his sister and Mokoko's influence. He's more of a pasifict and likes supernatural type stuff.

Sergeant Keroro = Kaeru Ridahoshi: 16 year old laze about who spends his time watching anime and building gundam instead of trying to make something of himself. Despute being rather lazy and selfish, he has this weird ability to makes friends and rally people together.

Momoka Nishizawa = Major Mokoko: Most people believe that she only has her rank and position because her father is a general when in reality she is very deserving of her position, being an amazing soldier. She has a special affection for Fyukiki and pulled some strings to get him in the same platoon as her.

Private Second Class Tamama = Otama Kuroberri: 12 year old cutie pie who loves sweets and cute things and just generally enjoying life as a little boy. But, he has a fast temper, is outrageously jealous, and is super strong.

Natsumi Hinata = Leuitenant Colonel Natsusu: The youngest Leuitenant Colonel in Keronian history, from the very beginning people knew she would end up as high as she did. She's an amazing strategist, leader, and is overall a great soldier. But, though she overshadows him immensely, she has a soft spot for her helpless younger brother.

Corporal Giroro = Enkei Juaka: 17 year old best friend of Kaeru, he's a militant wannabe who doesn't do that great in academics but excels in physical matters. Something of the muscle of their group he develops a rather intense crush on the Leuitenant Colonel. Wants to either be a soldier or a railyard worker as an adult.

Saburo/Mitsumi = Captain Mitmimi: A very quiet and mysterious Keronia, he sort of just appeared out of nowhere at a high rank one day. Has the uncanny ability to take out his opponents without them noticing as well as a knack for computers and poetry.

-Sergeant Major Kururu = Warai Uzumaku: 14 year old child genius who is already in university because of his insane intellect. He is both a great computer programmer as well as inventor and makes quiet a few things that are impressive even to the technologically advanced Keronians. While he's a child genius he's pretty unpopular due to his tricky nature and odd interests.

Koyuki = Corporal Koyuyu: A top tier assassin known best for her constantly bright and peppy attitude, despite the atrocities she is able to commit. She is Natsusu's best friend and confidant on the platoon.

Lance Corporal Dororo = Mei Pakku: 16 year old best friend of Kaeru and Enkei, he is very quiet, a pacifist, and enjoys revelling in the wonders and beauty of nature. He tends to get forgotten a lot, even when he purposefully tries to get people's attention.

(NOTE: Just as the frogs were aged down to match their roles, the kids were all aged up to adulthood to match theirs)

“[sergeant] keroro” is the main titular character in the anime “keroro gunso” (also known as “sgt frog” in both the dub and the english translated manga!), and he looks like this:

the anime + manga’s plot basically boils down to like, keroro and his platoon (the “keroro platoon”, consisting of keroro and four other characters) being tasked with invading earth (”pekopon” / “pokopen”, as they call it).

the keroro platoon are a race of frog-like aliens known as “keronians”, from the planet “keron”. i have no idea how long this might get so i’m gonna put it under a readmore! i’m gonna try and be really simple w/ explanations etc.

this is what the entirety of the keroro platoon looks like, along with a moderately boiled-down summary of their roles/what they do/who they are. i’m usin this pic instead of an ordinary pic of them all just standing bc i love this pic lmao

sergeant keroro (keroro gunso) is the green one, and he’s the leader of the platoon. he’s far from a hero-like character, often putting himself in front of others, and is always swayed by greed and gundam models. regardless, he still cares deeply about his friends, and has some form of a “no man left behind” attitude (not all the time, but, sometimes). iirc he’s pretty egotistical and also a lover of comedy which is a big mood.

private second class tamama (tamama nitohei) is the black (/dark blue) one, and he’s the lowest-ranking member. he is young and naive, and is prone to making rash decisions based on his personal emotions. he has a strong love and adoration for keroro (legitimate, romantic love - icr if tamama is canonically gay or bi), and is also notably incredibly jealous of specific scenarios. he literally converts his jealousy into a weapon and can shoot lasers out of his mouth. i love him

corporal giroro (giroro gocho) is the red one, and he’s An Angery Man but also i love him. he specializes in guns and all that kinda shit and is really argumentative with keroro (because keroro just. lazes around and does nothing). he’s very war-driven and commonly makes war analogies. one of my fav things about giroro tbh is that he’s the embodiment of masculinity and All Things Manly(tm) but he’s also incredibly emotional, iirc he cries more than the rest of the platoon members (except maybe dororo), and is genuinely just a Good Character? I Love Him? 

he falls in love w/ a human tho and the human is like. a minor. which is kinda Nasty. a lot of us generally dont associate with/Despise the pairing of giroro + the human (natsumi) even tho the show can focus pretty heavily on it.

sergeant major kururu (kururu souchou) is the yellow one and he’s honestly such a fucking mess i love him so much he’s a big cc. he’s your typical creepy/perverted nerdy guy except he takes that concept and cranks it up to the extreme. iirc he has like little to no empathy for anybody, is generally disliked by the rest of the characters because he prides himself on being a twisted asshole, and happily uses other people for his own personal gain or torments them mentally just because he can/finds it enjoyable. he’s vital to the platoon since he’s the one who invents all the shit for their invasions. i love him so much hes such a fucking oddball compared to the others i love always looking for kururu in a scene because hes doing some stupid shit

lance corporal dororo (dororo heicho) is the blue one and is hands-down the best character in almost any piece of media ever conceived. he’s a highly skilled assassin but he’s also a complete sweetheart who’s like your Classic Hippie who just wants world peace and loves plants and nature and all that shit. every time there’s a reference to dororo doing gardening i cry because he’s such a pure and sweet character. he’s very commonly forgotten by almost every character in the show, and being mistreated by others (namely keroro) developed literal trauma within him (if that’s the right phrasing?). he’s very prone to emotional manipulation iirc and he’s just a very like. whenever he’s upset u just find urself begging for him to be ok

so these 5 have to like. invade the planet. they get split up when they arrive so the first few episodes are them getting the crew back together (iirc, keroro is of course in episode 1, tamama should be in episode 2, giroro is in episode 3 or 4, kururu is in episode 9 i think and dororo might be episode 14? this is all from memory so i apologise).

keroro is discovered (accidentally) and captured by the hinata family, which consists of fuyuki, natsumi, and aki (aki is the single mother and doesn’t show up often so i won’t talk about her).

natsumi hinata (left) is the older sibling, iirc she’s around 14 years old, and she’s one of my all-time FAVOURITE female characters in media. she’s physically strong and athletic, and is shown to be like .. i mean i don’t want to be like ~ooh she’s independent and all that~ but like holy shit is she so fuckn independent. she’s literally heralded as “earth’s last line of defense” because shes TOO good. shes so good. i love natsumi so much. she’s also very easily angered but that’s good and i love her

fuyuki hinata (right) is the younger sibling who i Think is around 12 years old. he’s SUPER big into the occult and all kinds of mysteries, paranormal or not. he obsesses over stuff like cryptids and is just A Huge Nerd. he’s physically like, awful, which is incredibly relatable like me too dude. he becomes rly good friends with keroro and sometimes there’s episodes revolving around them and their friendship and i always cry because it’s so genuinely emotional and touching and i love them so much they’re such good friends id die for their friendship

keroro gets captured and ends up living with fuyuki and natsumi in their basement. tamama lives at momoka’s house (a character i haven’t mentioned) but shows up in the hinata household a lot. giroro lives in a tent in the hinata’s back garden. kururu lives in his lab in the platoon’s secret base which is like, in a refrigerator, in keroro’s basement. dororo lives in a simple house with koyuki (a character i haven’t mentioned) and sometimes shows up in the hinata household.

episodes tend to follow the formula of like

keroro has a really shitty invasion plan for earth, they’re usually really awful like “we’re going to invade the planet by making sentient cabinets that detect where your feet are and force you to stub your toe”

kururu makes whatever it is keroro wants for his awful invasion plans but usually has some kind of drawback on said whatever he makes

giroro usually complains about keroro’s shitty ideas because they’re shit

tamama sometimes objects or questions keroro’s ideas but generally follows them and compliments him

dororo usually doesn’t show up, objects to keroro’s plans because they can harm people, or is just straight-up forgotten by the rest of the platoon

keroro fucks up somehow, usually because of his own cockiness or because someone like natsumi stopped him

keroro laments his failures but nobody is surprised by him failing

that’s rly loose but it’s like. the general gist though it’s presented in a way that never gets boring

there’s also episodes that focus around specific characters/character development/character backstories/just fun-filled filler episodes idk i love it

i lost my train of thought LMAO i hope that makes some kind of vague sense
