Over the past 5 months I have been writing and saving LONG rants about the now infamous Captain Save a Hoe, soon to be markled, Mr Thirsty Tyler Perry.

Leilani of Barbados did an excellent job mocking him for his absurd megflix statements about his godfather role to a Lili white Invisibet.

Unfortunately Leilani did not inform her viewers that Mr Perry also labeled the British royals as Meghan & Harry's "ABUSERS." Perry stated that Meghan COULD have said more damaging things about the BRF but she didn't because she's too "Klassy." What a SIMP🧢 and a deceived Captain Save a Hoe

Calling EVIL good and Good evil is an unfortunate sign of the times.¹

Perry haughtily admits that he possesses "THE corner on God" and the Church of England is beneath him. Meaning he's right and the Church of England is weird and wrong.

Based on what Harry & Meghan told Perry about christenings by the Arch Bishop of Canterbury, Perry views those traditions as beneath him. He is too holy to set foot in some ancient building, with weird people who may or may not be praying to HIS prosperity god.²

The irony is that just a few years ago, Tyler was angling to get an invitation to sit with his bff NOprah in The Queen of England's "stinky" chapel, Saint James' Palace (which Meghan was unqualified for as a divorcee) to witness a white woman (w/a half black mother) marry a white man.

Meghan Markle's latest mark, Captain Save Hoe (Thirsty Tyler), truly is dim. The two (2) people Perry thinks God's Holy Spirit allows him to see clearly were walking around his property talking to DEAD ⚰ people. Necromamcy is forbidden for the Christian.³

Thirsty Tyler can 1st remove that jumbo jet plane size BEAM in his own eye before shooting off at the mouth about people he's never taken the time to study or visit but chose to haughtily blast them via megflix about a speck of dirt.⁴

The least Thirsty Tyler could do is respect that the people he has misjudged are members of Harry's family. Much to the chagrin of Thirsty Tyler, Gail & NOprah's racist worldview, the BRF is a force for good around the world.

Thirsty Tyler is Captain Save a Hoe who recently rescued 2 infamous z-list fraudsters w/suspicious ties to major political backers: Jussie Smollett & Meghan Markle.

Was Thirsty Tyler told to become Harry's new handler? Meghan Markle will never accept that none of this is about her. She was a mere pawn used to gain control of Harry's mind and now It sucks to be her.⁵

3-Fall 2019 Thirsty Tyler spoke to a media source about mm not being ok. "I felt that"

4-Spring 2020 mm telephoned Thirsty Tyler (known for sending his aircraft and cash to rescue celebrities) CRYING bc the border was closing and she feared for her SECURITY.

5-Spring 2020 Thirsty Tyler flew Dorito to Vancouver Island and relocated the The Meghan's and all their belongings, pets etc into one of his LA homes.

6-Summer 2020 The Meghan's lived in TP's mansion for 3+ mo (according to Harry). Harry got a taste of "lifestyles of the rich and famous."

7-Spring 2021 The Meghan's told NOprah about their savior Thirsty Tyler. Harry, (the Strut teenager from Bat out of Hell who never grows up) was visibly pleased with himself because "my family didn't even know where I lived!!" Idiot.

8-Thirsty Tyler shared The Stench via socials

9-Meghan showed the Cut her grand piano Thirsty Tyler purchased for their 16 bathrooms

10-The Meghan's filmed themselves speaking to Thirsty Tyler (phone) on set at Ysidro Ranch

11-Thirsty Tyler hurled unsubstantiated accusations at Mr Markle & the BRF (megflix)

12-Thirsty Tyler revealed for megflix that he is godfather to Lili White Invisibet.

13-March 2023 Thirsty Tyler allegedly flew a choir of black singers to Montecito for a lavish backyard gathering in honor of princess Lili White Invisibet Diana.

14-Thirsty Tyler & Sunshine Sucks released a propaganda filled press release to "black" media:

Here’s @groovinyeen’s trollsona, Emi as the princess and Prince D as the prince from the story, The Frog Prince. The Disney version of the story, The Princess And The Frog is a match for them but in my reimagining, it takes place in the the 70’s USA where Emi is a struggling funk musician and Prince D is a prince from a fictional African kingdom who was in hiding from conspirators. He was sure that no one will find him and his valet, Creek but he was turned into a frog by a warlock who promises them both their dreams but Creek sided with the warlock.

In a form of a frog, Prince D met Emi, who was also turned into a frog. Realizing the situation they were in, they decided to find Cybil, a powerful fairy living in the woods. During their travel, Emi and Prince D met his long-lost brother Cooper, his girlfriend Jussy some animal friends that help them in their journey but in the process, Prince D and Emi fell in love with each other and Prince D found his talent as a musician. When they finally met Cybil, the fairy told them that she is more than aware of what Prince D wanted (to be human) but spends the time trying to explain their desires won't make them happy if they' that the thing that's important is not what they want, it's what they need. Cybil also warned them about the conspirators and the warlock’s plans and sent them back home but not before giving Emi the secret to breaking the spell. Joined by old and new friends, they uncovered the two villains’ plots, defeated Creek, and defeated them altogether. Back at the forest, Cybil officiated Emi and Prince D at their wedding ceremony in the woods and upon kissing each other, they were transformed back to their human forms, in which he discovered that Cooper is his twin brother. They also had a second official wedding, where Prince D and Emi met his parents and they fulfilled their dreams together.

FAN THEORY

Princess Mononoke, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (along with The Sacred Star Of Milos), Baccano!, Black Lagoon, Monster, Wolf Children, Death Note, Summer Wars, Durarara!!/Durarara!! x2, Attack On Titan and Gangsta. are all set in the same shared universe as each other.

First off, to be most specific I'm referring to the animes. The english dubbed animes to be exact are the canon ones because they're just full-on 🔥 that it would be a huge disservice.

Second, the genesis for this theory is none other than Isaac and Miria's cameo appearance in Durarara!! and it got me thinking for fun could there be more. I know full well about the Naritaverse but that's the manga, I'm talking the anime.

As it turns out that there's surprisingly much more to this than you may think at just first glance —

Not only do all ten of these share very similar visual aesthetics but they also have incredibly brutal and visceral brutality, dark senses of humor that are used at the most appropriate times, storylines that keep on progressively building on each other more and more, they focus on unique and distinctive ensemble cast of characters with their own stand-out personalities and to top it all of, all ten of them are visceral thrill rides with plenty of no-holds-barred twist and turns that absolutely no one can see coming from a mile away. Each one are obviously set at different times but the most interesting one here is easily Attack On Titan.

How I see it is that AOT takes place in modern day post-Durarara!! x2, it just focuses on the Marley and Eldia conflict that the rest of the modern world have completely ostracized in absolute horror and disgust. It's then that the events of the series culminating in the Rumbling are what finally set things off with the U.S. government and others now taking full notice on both Marley and Eldia.

The universe that consists of these six is a world that's similar to ours except it's much more fantastical and violent. Other interesting details that I managed to come up with would be the following —

1). The entire cast of Baccano! are still alive to this day as they're all now immortals alongside Isaac and Miria and are now a street gang with government ties to them.

2). Since this is essentially an insane alternate history, I decided that it would make sense for this to be a world where every bad person gets their comeuppance or what they deserve. So real-life people like O.J., Trump, Cosby and even Jussie all got their brutal ends.

3). Even though he's dead, Kira's legacy still lives on as an underground following has developed with them looking to continue off where he left off.

4). There could potentially be more to this world, others that could in fact share the same universe but it's to show that there's way more going on in this 'Verse than just what's happening with these six. I would gladly include Where Eagles Dare, Overlord (2018), Breaking Bad and Sons Of Anarchy in here since they each would be able to fit perfectly.

5). Revy and Rock are currently now a married couple with three kids, the oldest is now heading off to college.

And that's just a mere few.

Danish litterature reccomendations

Whenever i see anyone recommend danish literature it’s always H. C. Andersen. And while H. C. Andersen is great, there’s just so much more to danish literature.

Therefore i spend my saturday evening on compiling my danish faves, organized by era, in a post.

Folk songs/tales

Queen Dagmar lays sick in Ribe(Dronning Dagmar ligger udi Ribe syg). 12th century(some however believe it to be written in th 14th century). Queen Dagmar, wife of Valdemar Sejr, was seen as a God fearing and pious woman. This folk tale is about her death as she’s giving birth to her second son.

The power of the harp(Harpens kraft).15th century. Vilmunds bride is afraid of crossing the bridge, blidebro, before their wedding, as her two sisters fell into the water crossing it. Vilmund assures her nothing will happen, but when the day comes, her horse slips and she fall into the water. Ramund. 16th century. Folk song of swedish origin, about the quick witted and strong Ramund. Despite supposedly stems from the 16th century, it has got some references to nordic mythology such as when Ramund kills seven jætter/jötunn. It’s a very cliche story about a man who ends up taking the princess and half the kingdom.

Rationalism

Jeppe on the mountain(Jeppe paa Bierget). 1722. Ludwig Holberg. The baron decided to play a prank on the drunk peasant, Jeppe. Erasmus Montanus. 1747. Ludwig Holberg. Rasmus goes to Copenhagen to get a formal education. When he returns, to his hometown, he insists on being called the latinized version of his name; Erasmus Montanus. His beliefs about the earth being round tests his relationship with his fiancee, Lisbeth and the other villagers.

The romantic era

Guldhornene. 1802. Adam Oehlenschläger. The poem which kicked off the romantic era in Danish litterature. The tinderbox(Fyrtøjet). 1835. H. C. Andersen. A witch asks a soldier, to help her get back her magic tinderbox. He ends up keeping the tinderbox. The little mermaid(Den lille havfrue). 1837. H. C. Andersen. You all know this one. The ugly duckling(Den grimme ælling). 1843. H. C. Andersen. A swan thinks he’s an ugly duck. You all know thi sone as well probably. The nightingale(Nattergalen). 1843. H. C. Andersen. The Emperor of China adores the nightingales song, but wants it to sing for him all the time, so he acquires a mechanic one to take its place. The Little match-seller(Den lille Pige med Svovlstikkerne). 1845. H. C. Andersen. A young poor orphan sells matches on Christmas Eve. Very bitter sweet story tbh. The Shadow(Skyggen). 1847. H. C. Andersen. Haven’t read thi sone yet, but i’ve heard that it’s a must read, and it really does sound like it. Enten – Eller. 1843. Søren Kierkegaard. Philosophy, yadayada, existentialism.

The Modern Breakthrough

Lucky Per(Lykke Per). 1898. Henrik Pontoppidan. Per leaves his protestant family, to study engineering. His enthusiasm and creative ideas aren’t received well by most. This is a fave. Eagle’s flight(Ørneflugt). 1899. Henrik Pontoppidan. The ugly duckling, but make it sad and with an eagle. The last ball gown(Den sidste Balkjole). 1887. Herman Bang. For a gay writer, Herman Bang surely did write a lot about women. This one is about a woman who sews her own ball gown, and realises that she has grown old. Tine. 1889. Herman Bang. War, sex and suicide, need i say more. Ved Vejen. 1898. Herman Bang. Katinka craves the love and passion, her husband Bai isn’t abel to give her. She finds this in the neighbour, Huus. When he leaves the country, Katinka falls sick.

Neo-realismen

The Fall of The King(Kongens fald). 1901. Johannes. V. Jensen. Mikkel Thøgersen meets King Christian II by accident. They end up following each other through war and peace.

The post-war era

The Patridge(Agerhønen). 1947. Martin A. Hansen. Different short stories by Martin A. Hansen. All very good reads. Some harder to get through than others. The Liar(Løgneren). 1950. Martin A. Hansen. Johannes Vig lives on the island Sandø. He’s a bit confused about everything and has a slight alcohol problem. The ethical demand(Den etiske fordring). 1956. K. E. Løgstrup. Existential theology.

Modernism

Zappa. 1977. Bjarne Reuter. Coming of age story about a group of young boys.

The boys from St. Petri(Drengene fra Sankt Petri). 1991. Bjarne Reuter. Inspired by the actions of the Churchill club during the German occupation of Denmark.

Postmodernism og minimalism

Radiator. 1997. Jan Sonnergaard. A series of short stories about people living low key sad lifes. Lots of reading between the lines, not so much conversation. If a human were to stop by(Hvis der skulle komme et menneske forbi). 2017. Thomas Korsgaard. My most reason read. I don’t know if it has been translated to english yet, but i really hope so. About a teenager growing up on the danish farmsides (Basically about living in a danish red neck family) Afdeling Q. 2007-2019. Jussi Adler Olsen. If you like nordic crime shows, you will like Jussi Adler Olsen’s Afdeling Q series.

I only have the draft for the next chapter of Country Comforts unposted apart from an exchange work that I can’t share so:

It was there that Carey’s fingers had started, finding knots and trigger points, kneading out hidden strains and tensions so expertly Sebastian was damn near to start purring like a cat. Carey had stopped only to add some more oil on his hands as he moved down his back, never taking his both hands off Sebastian’s skin when he reached for the jar, always leaving one heavy palm on him, grounding and reassuring. It occurred to Sebastian that it probably stemmed from how Carey was used to handling animals: avoiding sudden moves, communicating with his body more than words.

👀- favorite response to one of your works

It’s not necessarily even my favorite but it meant a lot to me to get a comment on the last chapter of my longest-running fic when I finally completed it, a football rpf fic called My Fair Lad II: The Odd Couple. I had worked for it for almost two and a half years, the ship had kind of died at the time and I had lost my most loyal reader (or they had stopped commenting) etc.

The comment said:

“Standing ovation. You deserve this.

I’ve been with this since the beginning and it’s sad that’s it’s the end but happy sad. 👍🏼”

and I loved it. Plus, in that chapter I had written about Finnish football legend Sami Hyypiä getting a standing ovation from the home crowd in his farewell game and I like to think that they referred to it in the comment. Classy, felt nice.

It’s also always nice to get some surprise praise when I comment some fic I admire and they appear to be a lurking reader, going “It’s you, I love your xxx work” - it’s a nice communal feeling.

🎲- your favorite chapter/part from a multiparty series

I think my all-time favorite is the finnish version of Jussi at Jussi’s, Jussi Jussilla, because it was my first fic in Finnish and opened a whole new world to me, and in that Chapter 3 (chapter 4 in the English version) with the critical getting together and falling in love turning point stuff. Or, more recently, somethink I like very much is Chapter 40, soda pop princess, of camera ready, because it is very hot and very much in that universe, very porn-y. It has some very graphic and crude sex work and a new level of hot in one of the emotional relationships, it sums up some aspects of that fic very well.

💭- any ideas for a possible wip?

Always! I’d love to write a little bittersweet sentimental fluff/mild angst piece with the working title of Kesäranta about the visit of the WJC 2016 gold medal squad to the residence of the prime minister of Finland, I have it in my head, and translating my Aho/Savinainen fics to English, and a TK/Nolan Woodstock AU… so many fic ideas, so little time.

💘- what’s your favorite AU? Least favorite?

Farm/ranch I think. I don’t think I have a least favorite, I just skip what doesn’t speak to me.

Considering what Jussie Smollett apparently did I suspect that Ellie did the same with the infamous screenshots (convo+comments): asked her friend Christie to send them to Seb's fans accounts. That would explain why they're still friends. Her purpose? "Push" to defend her from meam fans and expose their rs. Remember that Seb is a "raising star" while Ellie is at the end of the line of her modelling career... BUT THAT'S JUST THEORY (disclaimer for any Disney Princess fan).

At first, I want to thank you for hosting an event like this! It has been so interesting to read about movies from other countries and I decided to put only Finnish movies on this list. Some of these I’ve seen, some are important or have a significant meaning for our culture or were just quite popular when they came out.

Tie pohjoiseen (Eng. Road North) 2012 - Directed by Mika Kaurismäki - Starring Vesa-Matti Loiri, Samuli Edelmann

Summary: A drama, a road movie about a father who meets his son after a long time. The father wants to bond with the son after these long 30 years and they go on a long road trip to the north.

Jenna’s Note: Vesa-Matti Loiri is one of the most iconic faces of Finnish cinema (and also music, he’s a singer as well) and he really deserves all the appreciation he gets. Him and Edelmann (who is also a singer, they sing the ending song of the film together) work very well together in this one, they have chemistry and it’s visible how much they’ve enjoyed working together. This is one of my own favorites of Finnish movies.

Lupaus (Eng. Promise) 2005 - Directed by Ilkka Vanne - Starring Laura Birn, Karoliina Vanne, Hanna Lekander, Ilkka Villi

Summary: A movie about three young women who live a normal life in Finland until Winter War in 1939. All three of the women join the Lotta Svärd, a Finnish voluntary auxiliary paramilitary organisation for women. The movie follows the women from Winter War in 1939 to Continuation War in 1941 and till the year 1956.

Jenna’s Note: I’ve seen this once and I remember I liked this quite a lot. For once there’s a movie about Lotta Svärd. I’ve always respected them a lot. This has some war scenes, if I remember right, and everyone is not making it out alive but it also shows how there can be happiness in the middle of fear and death.

Poika ja ilves (Eng. Boy and Lynx) 1998 - Directed by Raimo O Niemi - Starring Konsta Hietanen and Väinö the Lynx

Summary: A movie about a friendship between a boy and a lynx.

Jenna’s Note: I loved this movie as a child. I haven’t watched it in years, but it really is a touching story. I remember how most of the girls had some sort of a crush on this boy, Konsta Hietanen, who nowadays plays music and I think has come back to acting after playing football for years.

Joulutarina (Eng. Christmas Story) 2007 - Directed by Juha Wuolijoki - Starring Hannu-Pekka Björkman, Otto Gustavsson, Kari Väänänen, Minna Haapkylä

Summary: A story about an orphaned boy called Nikolas becoming Santa Claus.

Jenna’s Note: This is the movie I watch every Christmas. I could say it’s one of my favorite Finnish movies of all time. It also makes me cry very much, which is always a good sign. It was said somewhere that “if Walt Disney would’ve been able to tell a story like this, he would have told it,” and I think it’s absolutely true!

Äideistä parhain (Eng. Mother of Mine) 2005 - Directed by Klaus Härö - Starring Topi Marjaniemi, Marjaana Maijala, Esko Salminen

Summary: The plot of the story is based on the time of the Second World War and the main character of the story is a Finnish boy (Eero Lahti). The biological father of Eero (Kari-Pekka Toivonen) is in the Finnish army. He dies in the front and Eero’s mother Kirsti falls into deep depression. As the war gets worse, Eero is sent to Sweden to a new Swedish family. In the new family, he has a father Hjalmar Jönsson, mother Signe Jönsson and a grandfather (who cannot speak but hears everything). He also meets the neighbor’s daughter Siv. And then he has to go back to Finland when the war ends.

Jenna’s Note: I saw this one for the first time when I was quite young and I remember crying so much during it. Only seeing the add or the first minutes makes me cry. It’s a sad, momentarily very unfair story but it’s still very beautiful, touching and deep.

Prinsessa (Eng. Princess) 2010 - Directed by Arto Halonen - Starring Katja Kukkola, Samuli Edelmann, Krista Kosonen, Peter Franzén

Summary: After a difficult childhood spent in foster homes, cabaret dancer Anna Lappalainen suffers from severe delusions and ends up in psychiatric care. She claims to be Princess, a member of the English royal family.

Jenna’s Note: This is a biographical film, based on a life of Anna Lappalainen, and I didn’t know this before. I like the psychology in this and it’s pretty good as a movie too, the main actress does really good job but some moments are quite disturbing. This gives me vibes of Russell Crove’s movie “A Beautiful Mind”, even though the setting is different.

Tuntematon sotilas (Eng. The Unknown Soldier) 2017 - Directed by Aku Louhimies - Starring Eero Aho, Johannes Holopainen, Jussi Vatanen, Aku Hirviniemi, Hannes Suominen, Paula Vesala, Samuli Vauramo

Summary: Based on Väinö Linna’s classic novel “The Unknown Soldier”, the part of our national legacy, the movie tells a story about a machine gun company of the Finnish Army from a frog perspective during the Continuation War between Finland and the Soviet Union from 1941 to 1944.

Jenna’s Note: This is only one of the versions; there is the first one from 1955 and the second from 1985. And because it was Finland’s 100th year of independence last year, they made the third version. I haven’t had the chance to see this one just yet, but one of the versions is on TV on the independence day, so I’m waiting for will it be this one. This has a good cast, some very popular and good Finnish actors and this is a very liked film, so I’m looking forward to finally seeing it. I’ve seen the other two versions, and I personally like the 1985 version the best.

Helmiä ja sikoja (Eng. Pearls and Pigs) 2003 - Directed by Perttu Leppä - Starring Mikko Leppilampi, Laura Birn, Amanda Pilke

Summary: When the Hirvonen brother’s (Läde, Timo, Ruho and Poju) bootlegging father ends up in jail, his sons need money to pay his debts to local crooks. The brothers suddenly get a new family member when their stepsister, Saara, moves in with them. Soon they find out Saara has an outstanding singing voice and the boys come up with an idea to send her to a child star contest. To train the girl a former child star, a current pub rose, is employed.

Jenna’s Note: The name is funny, I know. Don’t stare at it too much. In a way it suits this movie quite well. In which the girls are the pearls and the boys the pigs, haha. This is a comedy and basically only one Finnish comedy I’ve seen and liked. I also love Mikko Leppilampi, he is a good actor, but nowadays he is mainly a host in different programs.

Tom of Finland 2017 - Directed by Dome Karukoski - Starring Pekka Strang

Summary: Touko Laaksonen returns home to Finland after serving in World War II. In post-war Helsinki, he makes a name for himself with his homoerotic drawings of muscular men. Before finding fame, Laaksonen finds challenges from his sister and Finnish society due to his art.

Jenna’s Note: I haven’t personally seen this movie yet, but decided to put it on the list since it has been sold to another countries, the concept. And I think this movie was in cinema in other countries too. It’s a quite big thing in Finland, there are all kinds of stuff about it, from bed covers to everything.

Syke (Eng. Pulse) Since 2014, still ongoing - Created by Petja Peltomaa - Starring Lena Meriläinen, Tiina Lymi, Leena Pöysti, Iina Kuustonen

Summary: A show about four nurses. In every episode there are two or three patients whose lives have something to do with the nurses’ lives; they know each other or something else. It also follows the nurses private lives: love, hate and other things.

Jenna’s Note: The only tv series of the list! I’ve watched this since it began and it’s the best Finnish show I’ve ever seen. It’s interesting, something is always happening and the actors are good. It almost got cancelled but then another channel bought it and there’ll be another season later this year, it’s the fifth.

March 10 means it is Mario Day so I decided to do a redraw of my old drawing. Now, it’s Billy Reverb who is dressed as Mario, my trollsona, Queen Rose is looks good as Princess Peach, Queen Poppy is now wearing a Toadette costume, and Branch is dressed as Toad. @jade-green-butterfly’s trollsona, Jussy is still dressed as Princess Daisy and Cooper is dressed as Luigi while Emi a.k.a @groovinyeen and @yeenstrollart is still wearing her customized version of her Bowser costume, Prince D still sports the Penguin King costume, and John Dory remains in the Wario outfit.

It has the same plot as the first Mario Kart IRL art but with some tweaks.

Joseph knew he should’ve been upset by the question. He knew he should have been flustered, or embarrassed, or maybe just a little annoyed. For some reason, though… the question just seemed to numb him from the inside… “It’s… nice of you to offer, but…” Even so… “I don’t wanna be arrested for smoochin’ an underaged girl.” He decided to play it off as a joke.

“I am not underaged!” she said with a pout and a stomp. “Robots don’t have an age!” “I know, sweetie,” he laughed, “I know.” He smiled, but… she actually seemed mad at him. “Alright,” he said, “I sense that I’ve crossed a line – somehow. How can I fix this?” “Buy me an ice cream cone?” “Ah– what?” “Buy me an ice cream cone, and I’ll forgive you!” The fox smirked as the girl gave him a wry smile. “Alright, Princess…” She giggled at the new nickname, then the two left the playground, hand-in-hand, to find an ice cream vendor.

“You know what I want to be when I grow up, Mister Joseph?”

After buying a pair of sundae cones, Joseph and Kaitlin decided they’d had enough of the real world and headed back to his car to go home. During the drive, Kaitlin got his attention with that… oddly-phrased question.

“I thought robots don’t age?” “I could always have Doctor Right move my brain to a new body…” He did a double-take at that. Thankfully, the grin she wore told him that she was kidding. “Okay, Kaitlin…” he started after a beat, “what do you wanna be when you ‘grow up?’” “I wanna be…” She inhaled, and then… “A superhero!” “That’s not funny.” Kaitlin blinked in mid-lick of her cone. Joseph’s tone had turned very dry, very fast. “It… it wasn’t meant to be a joke, Mister Jo–” “Don’t be a superhero.” “Wh-what?” Her face turned angry. “Why?” “Just, don’t be. Okay?” “But… but, I already have the costume– ah, armor for it! A-and, I’ve got these zappy powers, too! See…?” She tried to flick a little electricity his way… but missed by a mile. “Oops…” The girl looked over with her free hand covering her mouth. She’d hit his car’s clock-radio, by mistake, and made it short out. When she turned to Joseph, she noticed that she couldn’t get a read on his expression, though. He seemed entirely focused on the road…

“W… well, with practice, maybe I could–” “Don’t become a superhero.” Kaitlin scowled when he repeated himself. “Why in the world not, Joseph?!” she impatiently shouted. “Why should I not become a superhero?! Tell me!” She sat there seething for a good ten seconds before she noticed… “H-hey, I didn’t mean it…” Joseph was starting to cry.

At the next traffic light, Joseph cleared his throat. Then, with some difficulty, he began to say something that he hoped would reverberate with the girl. “Kaitlin… I just spent the day with the most amazing, most adorable little girl I have ever had the pleasuring of meeting – yes, that includes Roll. This girl is very well-behaved, but she can be playful, spunky, and even a little devious, when she wants to be! She’s a sweet, lovable girl that… well… I think I love like a daughter or a niece…” For some reason, Kaitlin’s heart sank as she heard those last words. “If anything happened to this perfect, precious girl, I think I would… I would just die…” “Well, I guess you’ll just have to die, then…!” “Wait, what? K-Kaitlin!!” The fox jerked his head over as the girl whipped her seat belt off, practically kicked open the door, and ran down the sidewalk, not stopping for an instant to look back.

“Kaitlin! Kaitlin!! Kaitliiin…?” As soon as Joseph could, he pulled his car over, climbed out, and gave chase… which, given his occasional limp, proved harder than it needed to be. The girl was not just as fast as ever, but in her civilian clothes, she practically blended into the crowd! It wasn’t long before he completely lost sight of her. That didn’t stop her from calling her name and hobbling up-and-down the streets, though. At least, for a while…

“Brietta, I need your help.” “Okie-dokie! What’s da situation?” After looking for about ten minutes, Joseph called Chou Manor and asked for Brietta. He explained the situation to her, at-length, then told her not to tell anyone else. She told him he’d be there as soon as she could be… which turned out to be another ten minutes.

“Sorry I’m late!” the pixie-girl said. “Dem groups’a crows, up dere, is moidah!” “Never mind that,” the fox said, too panicked to appreciate her bad pun. “I need you to fly up and see if you can’t spot Kaitlin from the sky.” “Uhm…” Brietta looked off into the horizon. It was already twilight. “Couldn’cha’ve done this in da mornin’? Or, lunchtime? I know I’m a faerie, but–” “Just do it!!” “Y… yooo!” She glared at him glowing red. “You did not just shout at me, punk-ass!” “I… ah… mm.” The fox covered his mouth and folded his ears. He hadn’t meant to yell…

“Look, kiddo, it’s like this: Kaitlin may not look it, but she is a big girl! She can take care’a herself better’n any of us! Chances are, she’ll find ‘er way back t’ your place ‘n say she’s sorry fer worryin’ ya.” He quietly nodded, deciding to just listen to the street-wise, little fae. “That saaaid…” Brietta smiled, her glow turning more neutral. “If ya still wanna look for ‘er, I’ll help ya. Just don’t expect no miracles! My night-vision’s pretty bad!” He actually cracked a smile when she made her eyes glow, though he also winced. “Ooh, uh… sorry ‘bout dem high-beams, Moleman!” “It’s fine.” He adjusted his dark glasses. “My eyes aren’t as sensitive, these days. Anyway… I will gladly accept your help if you’re willing to lend it. One condition, though?” “Wuzzat?” He blushed and shyly smiled. “Forgive me for yelling at you?” “Oookaaay…” He squeaked as she pinched his cheek. “But, only ‘cause yer a cutie-patootie!” “Thanks, Brietta.” He smiled, his tail wagging. “Call if you find her, alright?” “Word-booty!” With that, the two set off in opposite directions, trying to find the lost “child.”

“Kaitlin? Kaitlin? Kait– huh?” It had been a good forty minutes since the search resumed and Joseph hadn’t found anything of interest. However, as he passed by a public school, he thought he saw something sparkling from atop a piece of playground equipment. “Kaitlin…? Or, some kid with a lighter… Either way, I should check it out.”

After hopping the fence to the school, Joseph stealthily made his way onto the sand-covered playground. There, in the dull light of the outside street lamps, he saw a small figure performing some sort of wizardry atop a jungle gym. “Thunder Bolt!” she cried, firing off a small spark of electricity. “Come on, I did it in the car! Thunder Bolt! Thunder… Bolt!!” Try as she might, though… the kid couldn’t seem to make much more than a couple of sparks or a small vein of electricity, at most. “Try flicking your wrists, more.” “Thanks. Thunder– gyaah!!” The sparking figure almost fell right off the piece of playground equipment. She clutched onto her coverall-dress with one hand and a metallic pipe with the other, panting and giving the grinning intruder the stink-eye.

“What do you want?” she asked with a scowl. “Are you here to take me home?” “Not really… I was just wondering what a such a little girl was doing out here, on top of some playground equipment, at seven-at-night.” “First of all, it’s eight-at-night…” Joseph smiled. “Noted.” “And secondly…” She debated telling him it was none of his business… but instead, she told him the truth. “I’m failing to use my zappy powers…” He continued to smile as he noted, “Part’a that might be because you’re in a metal cage.” “Well…!” She huffed, stomping her foot on the wooden floor of the tower spire. “I didn’t wanna have any accidents happen like with what I did in the car!” “Too much junk food’ll do that to you.” “Not that kind of ‘accident,’ you dum-dum!!” She stomped for a second time, then she turned around and crossed her arms. “Anyway, I’m mad at you, so good-bye!” “Now, hold on…” Kaitlin looked over her shoulder, idly watching as she fox ditched his cane and attempted to climb the jungle gym. Just after he got onto the first bar, though… “Uh-oh…” He stepped right back down and stumbled to his knees. “J-Joseph?!” And, that’s all it took to get Kaitlin to leap down from her tower.

“Joseph, are you alright?!” she asked, kneeling beside him. He had a pained look on his face and seemed to be breathing a little more rapidly than normal… “Mm-hmm…!” he huffed. “Just… havin’ a little seizure…” “A seizure…?!” “S-spasm, spasm!!” he quickly corrected, realizing he’d used the wrong word. “A… spasm?” “I-it’s fine… It’s just… ever since that night, I’ve had occasional spasms and shooting pain in my left arm and leg, at times. It comes and it goes, ah– Kaitlin? What are you…?” He blinked twice as the girl put her hands on the places he’d described. “Does it still hurt?” “Right now? A little… But, it’ll be over in– nynngh…!” Before he could finish his thought, Kaitlin sent a small, controlled burst of electricity into his muscles, the gently rubbed both his arm and his hip. “What about now?” The fox blushed a little and smiled kind of weirdly at the girl… which made her blink. “Wuh… what?” she squeaked in confusion. “Why are you looking at me like that…?” “Don’t take this the wrong way, Kaitlin, but some people… like me… kind of enjoy the occasional zap. That was… something Thundergirl used to tease me about, actually…” She tilted her head. “Did she… give you the zaps you wanted, though?” “Y-yeah…” he nervously giggled. “Sometimes…” With her question answered, Kaitlin smiled and decided to keep doing what she was doing. That made Joseph one happy foxie… –––––

“Kaitlin? Kaaaitlin! Yo, Kait– the heck’s this?”

Brietta’s search had gone pretty badly… or goodly, depending on how you look at it. She hadn’t found any trace of Kaitlin… but she also hadn’t found her in any trouble. In fact, it wasn’t until she flew near a random elementary school that her pointy ears picked up on… something. “That feels really good, Kaitlin…” “Happy to be of service!” “Mm… a little lower?” “Okay.” “Ooh… r-right there…” “You mean… here?” “Yip! H-hey!” “Hee-hee…”

“Dis requires investigatin’!” Brietta thought aloud. She was quick to zip in and find the source of the sound. However, rather than fly down to where the noise-makers were, she decided to do a steak-out from the top of the nearby playground equipment and spy on them. What she found… was interesting, indeed.

“So, what did the doctors say, Mister Joseph?” “They said,” Joseph started, “that the nerves were badly damaged and I’d probably have this problem for the rest of my life.” “Mm… So, they didn’t bother recommending massage, or electrical nerve stimulation?” “Treating shock damage with electricity…” He wagged his tail. “You’ve gotta admit, that sounds a little ‘radical.’ Maybe, too radical…?” “Well, Joseph… most small-town medical facilities don’t have a sophisticated piece of machinery, like myself!” The fox groaned as his companion – the young girl Brietta had been looking for – stimulated his arm and leg with a large, low-amp wave of energy. “Too much?” He blushed as he shook his head. “Not enough…?” the girl asked with a grin. When his ears folded and he blushed even more, she just giggled. “You’re so cute, Mister Joseph…”

“So, uh, hey…?”

Both Joseph and Kaitlin jerked their heads up to the top of the jungle gym. Peeking over the edge of the wooden platform was a pink-haired faerie-girl with little lights dangling from her antennae. Even in the dull light they provided… it was easy to see the girl’s cat-like smile.

“Is this a private party,” she started, “or–” “B-B-Brietta…!!” “Da’s mah name, don’t wear it out!”

The fae-android slid off the platform and fluttered down to where the other two were. She couldn’t help but giggle as Joseph shuffled and scurried up into a sitting position. “What did I fly in on?” “N-n-nothing!” was the fox’s immediate reply. “Mister Joseph’s arm and leg were acting up,” Kaitlin corrected with a smile, “so I was using controlled bursts of electricity to contract-and-relax the muscles.” “Oh, really…?” When Brietta wiggled her eyebrows, Joseph just shrank and hid his burning face in his shirt. Kaitlin was absolutely correct… but with the way Brietta was acting, it made him feel like he was doing something way… way less innocent.

“Hey, Jos.” “W-what?” Brietta grinned. “I found ‘er! Pay up.” “W-what?” he repeated, his ears perking. “Finder’s fee!” The tiny girl held out one sleeve-covered hand. “Gimme-gimme!” “But… but I found her! A-and, we didn’t agree to any–” “Stiffin’ me, huh?” The girl drew closer with a smirk. “Ya want I should mess ya up?” “Miss Brietta?” Brietta blinked, turning her attention to Kaitlin. “Yo?” She stood up, dusting her dress and legs off. Then, she bowed while saying, “Thank you for going to the trouble to find me. It’s very scary, out here in the suburbs!” “Aww, you!” The fae brightly smiled. “Come give yer li’l sis a biiig hug!” Joseph didn’t know what to do or say as he watched Kaitlin and Brietta share a wholesome, sisterly hug. It was cute, but… he couldn’t help think that those two might become a constant source of practical jokes where he was the butt, in the nearby future…

“Welp, see ya!” “Hang– hang on!”

After the three walked back to Joseph’s car – Brietta riding on Kaitlin’s shoulders as the two laughed and chatted – the little faerie flittered up and waved a hearty wave to the duo. She was about to leave when Joseph stopped her.

“Don’t you want a ride home, Bri?” he offered. “I don’t mind.” “Nah, I’ll just fly home! Thanks fer carryin’ my big boo-tay, Big Sis!” Kaitlin giggled as Brietta wiggled her rump at her and Joseph. She knew the fae’s butt wasn’t that big – she was just wearing parachute-style pants. “Anytime, Little Sister!” she called back, ignoring the comment. With that, Brietta rose into the night sky, kissed the moon with a bit of faerie dust – which made Kaitlin tilt her head – then flew over the horizon.

“Today’s been some day…”

Joseph and Kaitlin made it home after another twenty minutes of driving. By the time they walked in the door, they were both feeling pretty tired…

“Thank you for all the fun, today, Mister Joseph!” Kaitlin told him after yawning. “I’m going to go brush my teeth, wash my face, then crawl in your nice, comfy guest bed.” “Oh, uh…” The fox paused. “There’s an unopened toothbrush in the bottom– no, top-right drawer, I think? I forget…” “I’ll find it! Thank you!” As she skipped away, the fox got into his fridge and retrieved a soda. With that in hand, he walked into the living room and flopped down… “Mister Joseph…?” Only to get right back up. Kaitlin was calling from the guest bedroom.

“What’s up, kiddo?” the fox called as he walked in. He saw that his guest was already snuggled into bed with the covers pulled up to her chin. “You know what would make this day absolutely the best…?” I swear, if she says ‘if you slept in my bed,’ I’m gonna lose it… he thought with a smirk. “If you sang me a song. Any song at all!” She sweetly smiled as she explained, “I just want to fall asleep to the sound of your voice. Your voice is really calming…” “Uh… Well… I haven’t sung in years, but–” “Pretty-pretty pleeease…?” “Oh, how can I say no to that?” She giggled and wiggled, then she settled down as the fox sat at the edge of the bed.

Joseph contemplated his choices… He didn’t know many songs by heart, and the few he did know really weren’t appropriate as “lullabies.” As he sat and watched the girl start to doze on her own, though… he felt inspired to sing her something he’d heard pretty recently.

“Look inside my heart…” he sang, gently stroking her head. “This is where it starts… Is it meant to be – oh, I want to believe… Hold me closer now. Will you take a vow and don't ever let me go…” “That’s… mm… niiice…”

Joseph sang as much of the song as he could remember from the previous night. Thankfully, by the time he got to the second refrain… his audience was already fast asleep. “G’night, sweetie…” He softly whispered to the girl before giving her a little kiss on the forehead. “Pleasant dreams…” Then, as he stood up and slipped out of the room… “Joseph.” He was startled by a familiar voice. “Wh–” He spun around, going wide-eyed. “F… Farfalla?” A pair of green eyes glared at him from behind large, round glasses… Then, after a second, their owner told him… “We need to talk.”
