Hi I'm sorry to bother you with this but i really don't know where else to go...
I'm actually devastated about the panic news and everyone is being so cruel to me about it and i just dont really know what to do anymore
I'm already sad about something and everyone is just telling my kys over it like.... i don't know I'm bummed out i miss them and I'm bummed out that theres so much hate to the fans about it....
Again I'm sorry to bother you but you're really nice and i just guess i need someone like minded 💔
hey i 100% understand this.
i have not and will not ever defend his actions but this band meant something to people. being told that you're not allowed to mourn something that was important to you is asinine.
patd is the reason i'm still here, i owe this band and this community everything. i just wish it didn't end the way it did.
i deleted tumblr for a while this morning because the hate sucks. take time to grieve, panic was an important part of our lives whether you were here for presplit, post split or everything inbetween and it matters.

i’m genuinely celebrating this as i hope you all (and ryan and dallon and every last person who’s been wronged by brendon) are too
it’s over
oh my god its finally fucking over
this is what ryan wanted all those years ago and i’m literally so happy for him right now
it can just finally die now
the first three albums are no longer something you feel guilty listening to
we’re no longer haunted by the name of a band that was stolen
ding dong the witch (panic at the disco) is finally bloody dead!!!!!

i absolutely detest the fact panic!'s discography is divided into two parts: presplit and postsplit.
while it should really be divided into three parts:
1. quartet (ryan & jon) era : music where the lyrics and song titles don't make sense (read: complex) but the vocabulary and musicality is legendary that you have no other option but to appreciate and fall in love with it (AFYCSO & P.O)
2. triplet (dallon & spencer) era: music which boasts of simplistic yet "hit you in your feels at 3 am" lyricism and grand organic & electronic instrumentals (giving it an alternative vibe) which can make you either dance or cry (V&V, TWTLTRTD)
3. solo (brendon) era: music with basic lyricism but with magnificent vocals and great pop production with themes of partying & drugs and excludes high energy which makes your day better (DOAB & PFTW)
