Fanfic Sneak Peek Theater ACT 2: For the Lovers

Super, SUPER sorry it took me forever to get back to the Fanfic Sneak Peek Theaters. Life happened, lol XD But I’m back ^^

Part two of my Fanfic Sneak Peek Theater is, as it’s titled, for the shippers. Including myself XD All of me OG OTPs get a fic to themselves, and I’m super excited to write them ^^

First up is a fic that’s had an insane grip on my brain: Love Language, which is the sequel to my first Multo/Zeeter fic, Heavenly. This story is a collection of vignettes (some long, some short) of how their relationship progresses, and there’s sweetness, bitterness…and even some spiciness. 😏 This story was going to be a three part fic, but things happened, and well…now y’all are going to get five parts. The good thing is, part one is almost done (I’d like to say I have about 70% of it finished). I just need someone to smack me in the head before I keep adding more stuff. XD

Here’s a sneak peek of the cuteness ^^ (taken from chapter 1’s vignette: Awed):

"Wow, you two look gorgeous!" Wizzy was the first to offer her praises, her eyes gleaming with stars.


"Yeah! You look like movie stars!" Wigg said.


Bonnie giggled. "Thanks, you two." She walked up to Bula, noting how his face was slightly red. "And I hope I'll be able to wow them on the red carpet tonight...with my equally handsome plus one."


Bula swallowed hard. "R-Right." He cleared his throat. "Well, we won't be the only good-looking ones tonight, right Multo?" His smile faded slightly when he saw Multo's face. "Um, Multo?"


If Multo heard him, he gave no indication. He stared at Zeeter, mouth open and eyes wide to where she could see the whites, a small blush on his face. Two words escaped his mouth, said in a hushed tone filled with utter surprise and wonder. "My stars..."


Zeeter's heart raced as he slowly approached her. It was the first time in a long time that she'd ever worn proper formal wear...and this was the first time he'd ever seen her wearing it, which she was acutely aware of. And rather than renting this, she'd outright bought it.


Why, she had no idea.


She met his eyes, her own face flushing under his stare.


She had expected him to compliment her in his unique fashion.


What she did not expect was for him to take her left hand in his right, lift it to his lips, and plant a gentle kiss on her knuckles.


Zeeter squeaked.


Everyone else gasped, with Wizzy and Bonnie taking a keen interest in this, practically pushing Bula aside.


Heat equal to the sun flooded her face as he gently looked up at her. She hadn't been prepared for the lightning bolt that hit her when he did that. Nor was she prepared for the look of utter wonder and adoration that graced his face.


"My dear," he breathed, "you look absolutely radiant tonight."


It wasn't enough that he'd kissed her knuckles and made her brain short-circuit. He just had to call her that, too.


She was sure she resembled a cooked lobster by now.

Next up on the list is a small Whyatt/Red ficlet that I’ve been working on. I’ve titled it “Sweet Victory”. And I totally wasn’t thinking of that song, lol XD

Also, flustered Whyatt is always a treat XD

"Whyatt, that's enough chocolate for four people!" She started.


"I know, but I'm gonna share it!" he said. "Please, Mom? I've gotta have it!"


"You do, huh?" Ever the cautious skeptic, Mrs. Beanstalk gave her son a pointed look. "And just what are you buying this chocolate for?"


At that question, Whyatt looked away shyly. "Um...it's for someone special."


That gave Pig pause. Poppa Pig looked at him with one eyebrow raised, an odd look in his eye.


Compared to her earlier demeanor, Mrs. Beanstalk looked absolutely surprised.


"Someone special?" A glint of joy appeared in his mom's eye, and her lips quirked into a smile. "Is it a girl?"


Whyatt looked up so fast, Pig thought his head would fly loose from his neck. "Wha-NO! No way!" he said, shaking his head emphatically, but then paused. "Well, it is for a girl, but she's just a friend, Mom!"


"Mmhmm."


"No, really! It's nothing like that," he said quickly. "I-I just wanted to get her something really nice for her birthday, and I figured she'd like it..."


"It seems you've got a bit of a crush, Why."


"Wha-no I don't!" Whyatt argued, although his face was certainly arguing otherwise. It was turning as red as the candy he was holding.

My last one is a cute little piece that I’ve been working on since earlier this week, for Walden/Widget. @mooshieblue got me back into the pair ^^ The title of this fic is so light-novel esque it deserves an anime adaptation: The Science of Love (Side Note: It Doesn’t Make Much Sense)

"So, ya got anybody in mind?"


"Hmm..." He scratched his chin in thought. The idea of romance was, and still is, a bit of a mystery to him. In fact, while he could deduct it for others, imagining himself having a crush or some other romantic feelings for someone was unthinkable. He wasn't even sure if he could answer her question.


In fact, he was just about to tell her that...when his mind came up with an answer.


You.


His eyes widened.


I like you a lot more than a friend.


His chest suddenly felt tight at the revelation. Where in world had come from?


I've thought about you so much it's driving me crazy.


"My, my, my..." was all he could say as the revelation came clear to him.


"Helloooo? Earth ta Walden, do ya copy?" The smell of machine oil flitted through his nostrils, courtesy of her waving her hand in front of his face. He blinked, snapping out of his reverie. He looked up to see her green eyes narrowed quizzically at him. "Ya spaced out on me for a second there."


"O-Oh. Sorry about that, Widget. I-I, uh...I guess I put a little too much thought into that question."


"As always." She leaned back against the wall with a small smirk. "But ya think you got an answer?"


His mind betrayed him, and the realization made his face heat up to an absurd degree. Like, "center of the sun" degree.


"...I-I'd rather not say..."

Is it possible that, perhaps, Poppa has become overindulgent? Has he gone soft? Lately, whenever he stares at his reflection in the mirror for too long, it appears so.

Louis tries to follow the advice that his parents gave him when he and Harry first told them that they were expecting — to mirror Harry’s every move, like a game of Monkey See Monkey Do. Eat whenever he eats. They coached. Eat just as much, if you can. Sleep when he sleeps… but no more than him. Try and be on the same accord as often as possible. Louis does his best to follow their advice… but, after so long, his willpower is beginning to waver.

All of the mindless binging. Forcing himself to ingest multiple heavy meals in a single day, time and time again. The strange, even downright disgusting food combinations that he’s had to try. The countless number of petty eating competitions that he’s won, just to prove that he was the bigger pig. The shitty groceries that he buys, every so often. All of it is coming back to bite him in the ass now… each and every single instance.

Keeping up with Harry’s gluttony is slowly destroying Louis’s body, and — when it comes to mimicking his every move, to make him feel better about himself — being a supportive partner, is no longer the “healthier” choice for Louis. At the fresh age of twenty-four, he’s already packing on a dad bod… and it’s not attractive at all, no matter how much Harry claims to enjoy the look of it. Louis followed his parents’ advice as though it were printed in a holy text… but he’s not pregnant, like Harry, and his figure simply can’t take it anymore.

It’s time for him to stop sitting around, being a pig. He’s got to do something to put his steady weight gain to an end, and he knows exactly how to start. From now on, he’s going to walk to work and back, as a simple means of exercise, and leave the car at home. That way, not only does he slim down, but he saves on gas money too — killing two ugly birds with a single stone. What a perfect plan.

happy 88th birthday to porky pig!

march 2nd, 1935, i haven't got a hat first appeared in theaters. this marks the first every appearance of the magnificent character porky pig. the short was directed by friz freleng and featured the first appearance of many lesser looney tunes characters, including beans the cat, oliver owl, ham and ex, and little kitty. in this short, porky pig is featured reciting the poem paul revere's ride for a class talent show.

fun facts about porky pig!

porky pig was originally voiced by joe dougherty, who had an actual stutter. friz freleng hired him for this reason. this is why the stutter porky has at first seems more genuine than when mel blanc voices porky. the part was recast and given to mel blanc in 1937 because it became too expensive to keep doing retakes of dougherty's lines and recording sessions took hours.

the first cartoon mel blanc voices porky in is porky's duck hunt (1937), which also happens to be the first appearance of daffy duck.

mel blanc continued dougherty's stutter, but tried to make it reminiscent of the noises of actual pigs. when mel blanc took over, looney tunes also began the gag where porky would struggle to say a word and then replace it with another word, which he would say in perfect clarity.

porky was originally intended to be a child, beginning in his first cartoon and represented in cartoons like porky's poppa (1938). in 1939, bob clampett (one of the best directors to ever work on looney tunes) permanently made porky a young adult.

porky wears pants in exactly three cartoons: porky's badtime story (1937), tick tock tuckered (1944) (a remake of porky's badtime story), and brother brat (1944).

porky pig's most common pairings were with gabby goat, daffy duck, petunia pig, sylvester, and charlie dog.

rover's rival (1937) by bob clampett was the first looney tunes cartoon to not only feature the merry-go-round broke down, the theme song for looney tunes, but also feature the end card with porky pig bursting through the looney tunes drum saying "that's all folks!" this end card was used till 1946, although i don't know which specific cartoon was the last cartoon that featured it.

porky's original design featured him having a large snout and a fat body. he was later redesigned to be smaller, but his face remained similar. this is the design you can see in the first edition of his end card. his design was changed to the porky we all know and love after that, which you can see in the second edition of his end card. his final and most popular design was created by bob clampett. in new looney tunes (2015), they reverted back to his original design, which luckily didn't affect any other designs of him.

porky mentors hampton pig in tiny toons adventures (1990). his descendent in loonatics unleashed (2005) is pinkster pig.

the rap sequence in space jam: a new legacy is the worst thing to happen to porky pig in the history of looney tunes (this obviously isn't a fact but am i wrong?)

ok so we have porky and im just gonna assume every1 where knows who petunia is   now- peta pig- porky’s daughter, only appears in the 2004  My Generation G...G... Gap

priscilla pig- only appears in 2006 direct-to-video film Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas also shes voiced by tara strong lol

note: i cant find anything that would confirm petunia to be peta and priscillas mom but i put her as the mom on the family tree anyways. patrick pig, percy pig, portis pig, and peter pig- porky’s brothers, appear in 1937 short The Case of the Stuttering Pig

now the nephews and niece- cicero/pinky pig- porky’s nephew appears in the shorts Porky's Naughty Nephew (1938) and Porky's Picnic (1939). 

although in the shorts mentioned above he is called “pinky” he appears in the comics where he is called “cicero”. most of the sources say hes the same character just called a different name i think??? (i havent read the comics yet sory) he also appears in a few looney tunes cartoons shorts

note: i canr find anything on who his parents are but it could b 1 of porky’s brothers porko, puerco and sow- porky’s niece and nephews, appears in the duck dodgers episode “pig planet”

note: once again no idea who these kids belong too. could be 1 of porky’s brothers porky’s mother: despite never been given a name shes made a few appearances in porky pig cartoons. she appears in the shorts Porky's Hero Agency (1937) and Wholly Smoke (1938) she is mention every once in a while in porky pig cartoons. she also makes a cameo in the looney tunes show merrie melody song “table for one”

I decided to play the Atkins family, as that’s the only peasant family, in which there is an eligible bachelor for Drifa. 

I rolled It has almost seas to be! They got a free parrot! Maybe pirates are on the way to town?

I actually couldn’t set their money, because Ingram was at war, so I just added 1000$ to their funds. They ended up with a bit of leftover money, which was used exclusively for feeding the parrot. 

They called the parrot Didrik. Naturally at some point they’ll have to decide if it’s worth keeping the parrot, if that means they have to sell pigs to feed it. For now it was a nice Charisma-skilling opportunity.

It was a very long and difficult birth, even though one might expect a mother of twins to be quite experienced. Poppa died soon after the birth and the twins were left to fend for themselves and care for their baby sister. The midwife did come over, but she left in the middle of the night, and even with her assistance the odds of survival would still have not been in Poppa’s favour. The baby girl was born right before dawn, on twins’ teen birthday.

The baby was named Portia. Apparently this name may mean a pig, among other things. I think it’s a great name, and at the same time it fits the family that keeps pigs especially well.

Interestingly, before Poppa died, she rolled a want to join the military career. I know she couldn’t, but maybe she wanted to help at the war. She used to work in the Athletic career, and her Body skill was quite high. R.I.P.  It seems because of the war children of this town really have to grow up fast.

I have to say, as much as I like the Sun&Moon sets, it just makes no sense to me that pigs take so long to ‘age up’, especially that there is a pretty high chance they’ll just die. 3 of the piglets were lost. The Atkins family ended up with 9 of the original 12 piglets surviving. 

2/3 sows got pregnant this round, as well, so they should have piglets next round again, I think. And dear God, I got so spooked on Sunday morning! I thought there were pig corpses scattered around or something, but these were just 5 fully-grown pigs… half of the piglets had aged up into boars!

I know they should inherit the trade, and they will still inherit the pigs, but they do need some sort of income, because it takes ages to breed the livestock… As there isn’t a butcher in town yet, I decided against selling the pigs this round.

I allowed Bay to get a job as soon as he aged up, especially that he’s a workaholic. I believe the career I chose for him is actually not in the rules, but I feel like this would be a lower class career. I can see Bay as a jester. I feel like some parts of the job description just fit him perfectly: ‘To gain a little job stability, you have to give up a little dignity. Sure, you have to paint your face each day and perform lame magic tricks [...]’.

I can also see him as a jack of all trades sort of workaholic. After all peasants can’t really move up the ladder anyway. He’ll still be looking for other jobs, and he will probably have to change careers once he becomes an adult, just in case this career turns out to be earning too much money or something. Above all he’s a workaholic and he wants to be at work every day, if possible.

Bay, the mad man, actually maxed out Body skill on Saturday, and he wants to maximize Fitness hobby, too. It fits his max Athletic personality very well.

Bay was not that interested in going on dates, but he did have a want to flirt and him and Drifa immediately got crushes. They also have 2 bolts, which is not terrible for Family/Pleasure match. Drifa wanted to be best friends with Bay and have a first kiss general, so I decided to pursue this relationship. There really aren’t a lot of other choices, for now. I made them go on date, which felt more like a party for Drifa. She became best friends with both Bay and May, as she wanted to.

Bay did roll some romantic rolls during the date at least, and he wanted to go straight to making out, skipping the first kiss. Drifa naturally wanted to go steady with Bay as well. I’ll wait till the next Imago round with that.

Now I know Drifa can’t really afford that, but she brought them a piano (as a date gift)…, which is perfect for her. I know only Church organs were really used in Middle Ages, not pianos, but it’s really the same thing in TS2. I think Drifa just really wants to move in with them and play the piano, since she would normally go to Church to play the organ.

Bay’s 4th trait is Workaholic. So he’s a Cat-loving, Genius, Workaholic Angler. His one true hobby is Tinkering. Pleasure aspiration.

May’s 4th trait is Angler (same as her brother’s and father’s trait). She’s an Overemotional Schmoozer, Supernatural Fan, and Angler. Knowledge aspiration.

Portia is a Born Saleswoman, and an Angler [she inherited the traits from her parents]. She is an Aquarius, like her father, I think. She has 3 Neat points & 6 Outgoing Points, just like her older sister, 5 Active points, and 9 Playful points (that’s more like Bay, as May is quite serious). She’s also slightly less Nice than her older siblings (she has ‘just’ 7 points, not max points). Her one true hobby is Nature, and I believe she took it over from her mom. May taught her to talk and how to use the potty, while Bay taught her to walk, and the nursery rhyme, so she got all toddler skills.

Eventually they all became friends, but at first the twins hated Portia and they didn’t have the option to teach her toddler skills… perhaps because they blame her for their mom’s death.

They earned: 348$ (2 x 51$ paychecks, and 82$ + 164$ on the day Bay got promoted). Together with the leftover from the last round they had 810$.

= 600$ to the Royal Steward. There is 19,300$ in the Treasury [89,300$ earned total].

35$ – tithe, but I’ll just give 100$ to Church because of the burial. The Church has 17.100$.

50$ – to midwife because she did come.

They can’t afford a promotion item for now, but they will get it next round.

Some more SW Stuff I’ve had on the brain…

Friday, I had the idea to do a short story focusing on Pig’s mom. Or come up with a design for her, anyway. One idea I’ve always had since I was little was that Pig’s mom had died when he was young, hence why the brothers are raised by their dad. Poppa Pig hasn’t remarried since then, but does keep her memory alive within the family. The short story I had in mind involved how Poppa Pig and his wife met, with his wife being an inventor while he, and his own brothers, are still builders. How she died is something I’m still working on. While in the original SRBA it was inferred, chapter 4 of DR confirms that AP’s mom did die…which makes Material-B’s remarks even more horrible.

I had two new AU ideas—one being a Whyatt/Princess Pea AU where Whyatt is Pea’s bodyguard and the Azure Flamechaser full time, and the other being a Whyatt/Red AU that’s kinda like a gender bent Beauty and the Beast, except that one has a few more elements of the original Grimm Brothers’ fairytales. Not sure if I’ll ever get around to posting them, though!

Due to playing Honkai Impact 3rd, I realized that majority of my stories have their own Kallen Kaslana—or legacy characters whose actions directly shaped the events of living ones. For FLaG, it was Sebastian Lièvre and Nico Fontaine. For BT, it’s Olivier Coyote and Rose Rabbit. For Temporary Truce, this almost became the case for Punkin’s mom and Cat’s father. For The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade, it’s Multo’s ancestor, Multo I. And this story has three dead characters whose stories still affect the present: Mother Goose, Prince Phillip, and Pig’s mother, whom I’m still thinking of!

I also realized during the writing of chapter 4 that AP basically became a miniature Nanoha, with a bit of Hibiki Tachibana thrown into the mix. One of his lines to Material-B (“I’ll come back alive and make it happen, even if it kills me!”) is directly inspired by Hibiki’s famous declaration to not die when fighting Miku in Symphogear G.

I also want to write more of King and Queen Pea, who are the main royals of Storybrook Village, if I’m guessing this correctly, and have had some important roles in the SRBA ‘verse. Queen Pea knows a lot about relics and swords, and King Pea went toe to toe with his daughter and won (although technically, he didn’t fight her, just talked sense into her). There’s a hint in chapter 4 that points at there being more to Princess Presto’s Second Style than being a merge of her old powers and new powers.

A funny idea I had that takes place after the events of SRBA is where Whyatt chats with his family about the Super Readers, and Jack notes that he often wondered who Whyatt was referring to when he needed the Super Readers to solve a problem, much to his embarrassment.

Writing those Why/Red scenes has given me fuel to write more of them! So, you can expect a few one-shots featuring them sometime in the future! One cute little one shot that I have takes place a bit before the events of SRBA Reloaded, where Whyatt decides to get Red a special present for her birthday,which is a soccer ball made out of chocolate. His mother, who knows that he hardly if ever eats any candy, notices this and teases him, asking if he’s buying it for a girl. If there’s one thing about Whyatt, he’s a terrible liar, which leads to him being slightly embarrassed, haha XD

Regarding Jeremiah, the Super Readers do eventually learn of his familial connection to Chaos, and question why he’s fighting his brother. Chaos is one of the few people that Jeremiah outright hates, and deems unworthy of being saved. There is a reason for this that’ll be explained in chapter 6. Jeremiah did try to help Chaos turn from his ways, but he did something so heinous that he cut him off and they became enemies.

Might make a few OCs, especially those who were the first Super Readers! ^^
