I've using masking tape to keep track of name and species of all my pets on their terrarium and I say ENOUGH, time to pretty them up!!!
Over on @grumpy-beetle I am preparing new terrariums for millipedes, so I started with the little critters that will occupy them! I am planning to expand to spiders and mantids as well though :] (maybe some other bugs down the line too!)
I was giving the arthropods some carrots and other foods and opened the millipede container to see little babies crawling around on the bark I have in there!
It's so cool how transparent they are!
One of them next to their assumed father haha!
So exciting to see that the millipedes are doing so well, I was a little worried after I didn't see any of the adults for a few weeks but they were probably just molting or hanging out under the soil.
My bee or insect hotel has an opening thing half open & I can see the larvae inside is there any way to save it or will it die, will the mother bee come back to close it fully or? I'm sad :( what can I do
