Era noite. Vagando pela rua quase silenciosa, via-se o mais recente eclipse lunar em ascensão. A única criatura viva que o contemplava, porém, era a responsável pelo barulho ressonante: Um sequenciar de respirações fortes e entrecortadas - o farejar de um cão.

Muito mais do que um cão, aliás. Destemida e sempre em alerta, Perorin era a melhor no que fazia: encontrar pistas. De dia, uma exímia caçadora comandada pela polícia; de noite, a super-heroína da cidade de -.

Essa última parte, porém, obviamente era um segredo. Nem mesmo confidenciara sua verdadeira identidade à Becky, sua tutora. Não que ela não fosse digna de confiança, (pelo contrário!), mas a vigilante noturna não queria que sua mãe levasse mais preocupações consigo. Sim, era assim que Perorin se sentia em relação à Becky: Como uma filha amada. Desde que fora achada na rua após ter sido abandonada por seus antigos humanos de estimação, ela havia se afeiçoado veementemente a mulher de cabelos castanhos. O que de início era apenas gratidão foi se intensificando até virar uma complexa e intensa relação de amor e amizade.

Voltando para a mal movimentada rua da grande metrópole, deve-se dizer que o animal conseguiu o que queria: uma pista do paradeiro dos criminosos que estava seguindo desde o assalto daquela manhã.

Homura answered my question about Kirari's spin-off. The original Japanese audio was very long, so I selected only the part where they answered Kirasaya and transcribed it using voice-to-text technology and used ChatGPT to translate it. Afterwords, to ensure better understanding, I also did some editing and added annotations. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Is it like saying you want to read a Kirari’s spin-off like Midari and Twin? Thank you very much. Kirari is great, right? You probably like the spiciness/ zing between the president and Sayaka, so if you do a Kirari spin-off, it's natural to come out at the end and you may have that kind of feeling. But when you think about it realistically, Kirari can't lose in the spin-off, right? That’s invincible in gambling. Writing about it wouldn't make much sense. So what to write? It might turn into a story where you just write about the lovey-dovey between Sayaka and Kirari. Indeed, it would be a difficult content to create.

Little by little, well, regarding Kirari to Sayaka, I have something to say.

In the spin-off novel that I wrote, I added their interactions with a sprinkle of trip and purification techniques, but particularly among women. (Note: It may refer to the scene where they washed each other's backs in the novel about hot springs)

I put my heart into it, of course, and thought about each characters, but I couldn't imagine what the president was thinking, so I couldn't grasp it. Well, I wrote a spin-off novel in which I put in a lot of Sayaka's interaction. Therefore, I thought about Sayaka and even put my heart into creating her lines. As a result, I became too emotionally invested in Sayaka and when she is involved in the main story, it becomes a bit painful. It's not that I don't want to see it, but it's just that my emotions while reading it become kind of...not unbearable, but sad. I don't like being tossed around so much, Kirari. Well, it's more like admiration for how difficult it is. Yeah, that's right.

How many other followers the president has. I say "followers," but there are probably many who are just not interested and cannot approach her. Do they love her? When you think about it, is Sayaka okay with just being there, considering other people's feelings? As a secretary, is it enough to just exist in that role? Well, I guess it's not easy to get noticed if your abilities aren't really high. Sayaka probably doesn't sleep much, and she's also studying. Oh, I remember something from a bonus novel I wrote. I think I described her as being really busy. No, she's definitely like that. I'm sure doing well in her studies, and she's the top in her club. In that case, it would be better for Sayaka to miss the perfect score. She probably arranges everything, like Kirari's lunch. That's definitely busy. If the president goes somewhere or has a meeting with someone, Sayaka will definitely follow her. As an assistant, she probably doesn't have much private time, right? So, if I were to categorize it, it would be interesting to do it from Sayaka's point of view. I might want to see it a little bit. Well then, instead of advertising, or rather as a way of promoting it, I just want to say that the way Kirari and Sayaka interpret 'this'. In the volume 6 of the main Kakegurui series called 'Tower of Doors' and this 'Perorin' thing. (Note: 'Perori' is an onomatopoeia expressing the sound of licking.) If you watch it, I think everyone who's interested has already seen Perorin. It was definitely shocking. As I mentioned before, it's Naomura-sensei ’s forest. (Note: Mr. Naomura is the illustrator of Kakegurui. I’m not sure about 'forest' It’s maybe referring to the field of lilies), so I was surprised too. It was like 'Pero' with a licking motion. It was quite the impact. There's also another 'Perorin', and even the second 'Perorin' seems to suggest something in the advertisement. But it might be too early. Katakuri turns around to look at his smaller Big Brother, an inquisitive expression tinting the upper part of his face. It was not unusual for the Charlotte's siblings to show affection or worry, but it was rare for Katakuri to be on the receiving end of worries.

He moved his arm swiftly, the blood on his trident promptly spraying the scene around him. A bunch of pirates trying to cause a ruckus on his island. Maybe he'd been a little ...hard on them. Not that he was supposed to be soft, but the path of carnage he'd left this time was nothing short of horrific. Even he had to admit that it was a bit intense.

Since his defeat at the rubber brat's hand, he had been practicing his skills, and some unfortunate souls got to deal with the brunt of it. He wasn't frustrated either, but there was a new sense of motivation overwhelming him. He had never seen the point of getting stronger, despite practicing his skills on the daily. It was maintenance- now, it's different. Maybe that's why Perospero was here today, too.

Others must have noticed Katakuri reducing his merienda's time to add even more training.

"And you me."

He was not a man of many words, that's for sure, but if Pero could come at him and tell him he could count on him, he wanted to make sure his brother knew he could also count on him.

Never again was he going to let down his family.

Mellowcle - Eccentric (ft. ALLEN) [Miku ver.]

Both versions were uploaded at around the same time, but the ALLEN version wins out to me out of novelty (first original I've heard with him, and he sounds pretty good at Japanese for an EN bank) and some small things on Miku's ver I didn't like (wish she was a bit louder, especially in the rap parts imo.) Still, the tuning is fantastic on both versions (low Miku my beloved), and the song itself is groovy, so give both a listen.

More V6es! First non-demo GUMI V6 I've heard. Love the slight English accent she seems to have.

halyosy - Flyway (ft. Kagamine Len, KAITO)

I have a soft spot for Len and KAITO duets (thanks erase or zero. and CrystalP in general.) Combined with the fact that this is the first halyosy original in 2 years or so made me leap out of my chair. Their Len has a special place in my heart.

This is one of the producers I was expecting a Luka anniv song from, so this was out of the left field! Was also not expecting a hype rock/metal song with fun visuals, but I'm not complaining about that.

Aside from Big Tits Yukari that I have very strong opinions about, it was cool to see this interesting vb ensemble and SLAVE.V-V-R's custom models for them. Wonder if they'll ever release a song with some of these vocaloids (how much do I have to pay for a SLAVE.V-V-R KAITO original.)

“That’s kind of biased,” Ringo squints at Perospero. “How did you even know Brulee and Broye chose you? They don’t understand the concept of trust. They can’t even ta-”

Idly, Perospero hold out his hand. Immediately, Brulee splits out her pacifier for him, gummy grin wide on her lips, and Perospero levels a smug smile at him. Broye doesn’t even stir from her nap.

Oh, ok then. “That’s fair.”

“Oldest brother privileges, perorin~” Perospero reminds him. Then scowls. “Beside, we can’t risk nanny noticing us. The only reason she doesn’t mind me going on a ‘walk’”, he mimes quotation marks, rolling his eyes as he pops the pacifier back into Brulee’s mouth, “Is that she doesn’t have to deal with Brulee. Or Zuccotto. Or us. She doesn’t even know you’re gone.”

“Yeah, why did Mama hire her anyway? She can’t even stop Cracker from crying.”

“Cracker is an outliner and shouldn’t be counted, perorin.”

“You’re just salty that Katakuri and me are the only ones who can make him stop.”

“Katakuri and I.” Perospero corrects. Then glares. “And stop saying I’m salty. That’s not even a proper word!”

“He’s definitely salty,” Compote tells Ringo immediately. Ignoring the indignant squawk beside her, she flicks her pebble at him, which Ringo catches out of habit. “You know you can just go up to them, right? You’ve already got permission!”

There was something incredibly satisfying about having his siblings listen to him. A lot of them would often argue, and Perospero had been afraid that... With his newest FAILURE, they’d be even less likely to listen to him. So when Cracker actually listened to him... It meant a lot. It was approval. It was trust. It motivated him to absolutely never let his family down again. He was going to go after Mama and bring her back safely. It was his job.

It tugged at his heartstrings to hear Cracker say that if he didn’t come back, a rescue party would be arranged. He didn’t know if he fully believed him. He wanted to, of course. But he thought that perhaps, if he didn’t come back, his siblings would gather around and deem that in the end it wasn’t worth looking for him. A part of him WANTED to be worth looking for, but another part - would rather see them safe. Coming after him might be too dangerous. Naturally, he wasn’t going to voice any of this to his younger brother. He reached out with his good hand, patting the other on the head.

❝ Ku ku ku ku. ~ Don’t worry, I will be back. And when I return, I want to see you fit for fight again. Now be a good boy while I’m away. Perorin. ~ ❞ That last part was a bit of a joke. Cracker was too old for Perospero to call him a good boy. / @fallesto ,, moved .
