Hyunggu didn’t expect everything to be perfect when he got home everyday, but coming home to see your face tear stricken and distressed shattered his heart in a way he wished he had never had to feel. When he returns it’s to take your hand and guide you to the bathroom, carefully helping you strip and putting your hair out of the way, he’d help you wash that later but that wasn’t the point of this right now. Giving you the physical support you need to step into the bath, looking at it slightly surprised for a moment, before Hyunggu chuckles and encourages you to actually slip into it.

Milk and lavender surround you as you collect some of the flowers in your hand for a moment before returning them to the tub.

“Hush, don’t think about that right now. Just relax for now, this will help you feel much better.” He assures, kissing your temple, “Let yourself relax fully and take your time, I’ll go order the food now. It’ll be ready whenever you are.”

You close your eyes and lead your head back to rest, finally letting your body settle for the first time that day and you were sure the warmth fully surrounding you helped with that. Hyunggu pops in occasionally to check on you as well as to bring you a glass of wine. Then when the water cools enough that you’re ready to get out he is there to give you a hand and dry you off with a fluffy towel before slipping a robe onto you. He doesn’t say much as he guides you, content to let your brain rest and just allow you to fully recharge for the night without the burden of conversation when it isn't necessary. A warm meal is definitely what you need to feel much more alive, especially with the added benefit of it being your favorite and curbing your craving for it. When Hongseok reached home, you had already put all the ingredients in a bowl and had the oven on for preheating. Coming from behind and wrapping his arms around your waist he announced "I'm home. With your choco chips"

When the cookies were done he helped you put them over a grid to cool down. You pulled out a pretty paper box and covered the bottom with a cute paper towel.

Hong extended his hand to grab a cookie but you were faster, grabbing his wrist

"Babe, these are not for you" You said while trying to contain your smile

"What!? Are you kidding me, sweetie?" He said incredulous

"These," You began sorting them out while checking if any of them were damaged "are for Shinwon! You bragged so much about my cookies that he asked a box of them for his birthday!" You said with enthusiasm even though your boyfriend glared at you.

"Really? Shinwon? Can't believe my baby tricked me into baking cookies for Shinwon" he said sulking

"Oh come on Hong! We made them together! I bet they taste amazing with all the love we poured into it!"

"Whatever... You're lucky I love you. Tricking me like this..."

"Let me make it up to you" You said wrapping your arms around his waist, which he quickly reciprocated by wrapping his own arms around your shoulders.

"Yeah? What will you do about it?" he said smirking, which received a light smack from you

"You dirty. Let me cook for you. Dinner's on me tonight"

"Ok sweetie, I'll be expecting a full-course meal! And cookies"

"Don't worry my sweet cookie monster, It'll be the best you've ever had!"

And even though you promised to make dinner, as the sweet gentleman he is, helped you prepare the food. Indeed the best thing that ever happened to you was Hongseok.

Extra: Shinwon liked the cookies so much that he talked about them for a whole two weeks, making all the Pentagon members crave them. All of them asked you to bake them some cookies (without Hongseok knowing since he would steal them), and even Yanan made you promise to bake him some when he came back to Korea

You were waiting at a cafe, staring down into your coffee cup. You kept putting off drinking your coffee. You didn’t want to leave the cafe yet, not when you hadn’t accomplished what you came here for. You looked around the cafe for him again, and he was nowhere in sight, again. It felt like you had been waiting all day.

He promised you he would be there, and yet again your coffee was growing cold with each minute. Your mind wandered to teh days where he was earlier than you, already ordering for you. When the two of you would play games on napkins, and would spend hours together. The way his eyes would glow as he spilled details of the things he loved, and how he listened to you when you would talk with him.

You looked out the window, it was still snowing. The snow covered the ground and only kept piling more and more. You had enough, that’s what you would tell him when he would arrive. If he would arrive. You ran your finger around the rim of your coffe cup, your face inbetween your hands. You watched the people in the cafe, the people in line for a quick drink, the people sitting down, weather they were alone or with other people.

You met the eyes of one of the guys in line. He was far back in it, and he gave you a soft smile. You smiled back, feeling a sense of warmth on this cold day. You continued to watch him from the corner of your eye as he looked around before making his way to you. He slid into the seat next to yours.

“All alone?” He asked you, while getting settled in his seat.

“You’re alone too.” You retorted to his rhetorical question. “What brings you here?”

“Coffee, you?” He looked down at your full coffee cup that hasn’t been touched since the waiter gave it to you.

“I wish I could say the same thing, but it looks like I’ve been stood up.” You looked out the window again, the sky looked a bit darker than before.

“I could make up for that absence.” the stranger said causing you too look back at him.

“You don’t even know my name, but you want to butt in on my date?” You smiled at him.

“Only if you let me. And my name is Yeo Changgu” He said. You thought about it for a bit and nodded at him. It didn’t seem too bad and it didn’t seem like your boyfriend would ever show up.

So you spent what felt like hours talking to this new stranger about anything and everything that came to mind. It felt like the early days. You didn’t know how this guy made you feel so comfortable around him. For a moment you could’ve sworn that you looked outside, and it was spring with flowers blooming around you and Changgu.

Pentagon May Reading 2023

Note: As always please enjoy this by taking it with a grain of salt. Also it was my first one for them so since I don’t know the members, I hope this resonates for fans

Hui

Love: He isn’t in a relationship (officially) but he is still with this one person. To give an aproximate timeline, they started having a fling in July of 2022, and things started to get a little more serious in March. However despite the strong tension and desire between them two, Hui haven’t made it official and more like someone casual he always goes back to

Career: Things are complicated here. In one hand he is trying to manage things the best he can, however not everything is roses since he has no power whatsoever on his career. He really isn’t on the most good period of his, I see a lot of financial difficulties, projects not being accepted and him having to change and constantly innovate. I also see some time of geographic movement around June.

Health:

Physical: Urinary issues and some sore throat, nothing too serious

Mental: He feels extremely lonely, like a lot and he doesn’t speak of it with people, keeping things to himself. Also his working environment and global environment are toxic to his mental health

Jinho

Love:I believe he is in a relationship that started 7 months ago (November). I don’t have much info about it, other that his love life seem to be balanced at the moment and that he depends on them a lot

Career: A little more happy happy here, Jinho has been working on his own projects a lot and has a lot of work and actually some compnaies/sponsors/work opportunities have been trying to get him (I don’t know pentagon members so I don’t know if this guy ever was in a Drama, if not, there’s someone who wants him as an actor). However, his sponsor doesn’t seem very attracted to it. But at least Jinho has been creating his personal artistic way

Health:

Physical: The pains are recurrent on his backs, his spleen. He loses hair easily, his nails are fragile, perhaps some iron deficiency here

Mental: I am quite worried about his mental health tho, because I see huge waves of depression, he also has been struggling with anxiety a lot, he overthinks his past constant. In any case his energy is all over the place, he is unstable and emotionally suffering.

Hongseok

Love: I don’t think he is in a relationship anymore, but he was in Mars until he decided to cheat on his partner. It’s not something that he seems to regret and rather he sees it as his own personal choice to do so

Career: There as been some bumpy ways and his projects and work is extremely late. However outside the artist life, I have no idea if recently someone of his family has passes or something, but I see that Hongseok received a huge money. Like a lot that he is using as capital for himself.

Health:

Physical: okay

Mental: a little bit agitated, but he is overall okay

Shinwon

Love: The deck asked me not to share any info concerning his love life

Career: Things seem to be okay for him so far, Shinwon as been using his creativity (he writes some lycris lately), he wants to envolve as a person, and I actually see some opportunities coming for him and him being overall happy at the moment, it’s just that he is overused and frustrated that it always takes so much time for things to have a date and a schedule

Health:

Physical: he doesn’t eat much

Mental: he went through a very complicated moment, probably dealing with insomnias or depressive states but he is doing better

Yanan

Love: He recently got out of a relationship, and he is currently dealing with a broken heart since it was his partner who decided to put it to an end. No bad blood in between, he just is genuine sad that his partner has decided to leave him. Yanan also feels little support from his family

Career: I see some type of solo opportunity for him as well, or at least he was being approaches for such. Yonan is actually okay with his current state and he is also very vocal and open about it around him. Just like Hui, I see travel in June for him

Health:

Physical: okay

Mental: he has to deal with some problematic trauma and mental state that isn’t very good for him, but I cannot go too further

Yeo One

Love: I got no info about his love life

Career: a lot is going on here, like a lot. At the moment I see something huge is going to happen to him. Like very big (probably not very good). I see that Yeo hasn’t been payed correctly, he is stuck and on financial difficulties as well and that everything is unjust. His manager is the one that is holding alll the power over him and he cannot do anything. Still, I see something happening for him

Health:

Physical: okay

Mental: okay

Yuto

Love: Okay so Yuto is in a relationship and he is very very very happy. This is quite a very long relationship, to the point where his family know them and vise versa. I also see that Yuto has a big dream and need to become a father, to marry and to just live a very quiet life with this person

Career: Career is going bad, he doesn’t have much opportunities through his sponsors in Korea, and honestly I feel like he just wants to run away, to give up and leave the industry. I also see that he has a huge fight with one of the members.

Health:

Physical: okay

Mental: okay

Kino

Love: I got no info on Kino’s love life

Career: Things started to be complicated however I see a new path opening for him and all his hard work paying off as well. Opportunities coming back and him being able to manage things correctly this time. Honestly a good moment for now

Health:

Physical: I fear that he is suffering a much mor complex illness at the moment related to his heart, because I got 3 heart cards added with the illness one. So it’s something to look for

Mental: He isn’t on a good period mentally too, he tends to overthink a lot and be scared of the fure and be extremely obsessive about things. I also sense so much anger on him, like outbursts of anger

Wooseok

Love: Okay so it happens around end of march begins of April when Wooseok was friendzoned by the sperson, a close friend of his, however he didn’t accepted the rejection and he keeps trying to get her by asking them regularly or by texting them too. This is quite getting a little toxic

Career: Well first thing, he was the one who got into a fight with Yuto and apparently he is also the one who lost. Moving on from that, Wooseok is on a good period because his knows his career isn’t done yet and he still has a lot to do and knows as well he has the people behind him in case he needs.

Health:

Physical: He gets arm and shoulder pains easily and also something breathing problems

Mental: he just needs to regulate his emotions

[Idols After Dark] Lee Hoe Taek (Pentagon)

You can see this as a reversed version of usual appreciation post where fans describe all the good and positive sites of their favourite idols. However, nobody in the world is perfect, am I right? And according to famous psychologist Carl Gustav Jung we should accept, embrace and bring to light all our negative and dark sites as well because they only become dangerous for us if they stay hidden within our souls. And to honour this great man I decided to bring to the light some of the more negative aspects of Hui's personality to appreciate them in a way.

Are you excited? Are you curious? Are you outraged because Hui has no flaws at all? Let's see!

Disclaimer: I have never met Hui personally, I don't know him in any other way than what is publicly known about him and probably even less because I'm constantly busy and I didn't read everything about him. This whole post is based on my pure speculation, it was made for entertainment purposes and I have to put it clear it has nothing to do with a real Lee Hoe Taek as a person. It's all just a mere fiction, please don't take any of it seriously. The Dark Side of Hui (Pentagon)

Lee Hoe Taek is a highly respected leader of Pentagon, lyricist and producer who restlessly works on many projects at once and he might seem perfect at first sight but is that so?

Hoe Taek is a perfectionist which is a well-known fact about him, no surprise there. Such quality is surely an asset in his job but can be tricky when dealing with others, especially if people around him don't share his point of view. Hoe Taek might seem even pedantic sometimes, focused on details. When he concentrates on something there's no way you could disturb him. You could be on fire and he would be sitting there with his headphones on and composing another hit completely oblivious about his surroundings. He is willing to spend hours on one particular detail till he finds it perfect.

Hoe Taek will always look neat and will always be clean. He notices filth and bad taste very easily and as much as he's strict with himself he will spot flaws and imperfections on others, too. He is the kind of person standing in the crowd with eyes sliding from person to person and noticing every single crime against fashion, hygiene or a good taste. He spots invisible specks, he will search for needles in the carpet. You can try to hide any kind of imperfection from him but he will spot that part of the shirt you didn't iron properly, the shoe laces not tied tightly enough, the one tiny pimple you thought is hidden by your earlobe, you can't fool Hoe Taek for a second.

Hoe Taek likes to keep his home in perfect shape, neat, clean, tidy. Any kind of mess or clutter around will make him nervous and annoying. He will be the one categorically insisting on a proper duties schedule and god have mercy on your soul if you forget it was your turn to take out the garbage / wash the dishes / do the laundry. He will let you know how you disappointed him.

Hoe Taek is not the one to show much emotion, he is a practical kind of guy and prefers a sensible approach to things. He doesn't like people making theatrical scenes. However if he feels pushed into something he's not comfortable with... Better brace yourself because an Oscar winning scene will take place. He will go from calm and sensible person to award winning prima donna in a second.

Hoe Taek is not money oriented despite loving his work. The money is not the thing that makes him happy. He can be very generous with it and will be the one to always help out to anyone of his friends. However, spoiling isn't his thing. Be sure he will keep you under check and won't just give pointlessly. He is a caring person but he can't be abused or fooled in any way. He doesn't have much mercy on people who he considers to be responsible for their own misfortune. He might seem harsh or cruel in this matter sometimes.

As for Hoe Taek's relationships he seeks loyalty and devotion. He doesn't like to be played around, he admires honesty and purity. Hoe Taek is likely the one to get along with anyone but there's a lot on his mind about the people around him. He is mentally judging them on every step and he won't open up to just anybody.

All in all Lee Hoe Taek is a perfectionist with strong will and steady points of view and x-ray vision to detect flaws.

Once again, this is something I have written in 2020. I don't have new dark sides for now but because you liked the Yunho one, I thought I could share Hui as well.

a/n: honestly, some of these are probably ?? and i probably said the same things over and over lol

↳ jinho: hugs that would feel like he could protect you from anything. like, i could see him gently pulling you into a protective hug if you were feeling down and he’d whisper that everything would be fine and that he would try his best to make things better for you. you’d always look forward to his hugs and how they would positively affect your mood and help turn a bad day around.

↳ hui: the always excited to see you type of hug. like you know how golden retrievers are so excited when they see their owners, hui would be the same. he’d excitedly pull you into a hug and you’d sometimes forget what you were saying or thinking moments before because his hugs would melt away your worries. it’d be like coming home to your very excited golden retriever puppy.

↳ hongseok: warm, bear hugs that leave you slightly breathless because you wouldn’t realize how badly you’d need one of them. especially if you had a rough day and hongseok’s hugs would help some of the pressure of your day leave your body so that you could relax. even before he’d pull you into one of his hugs, you wouldn’t be able to help the wide smile that pulls at your lips.

↳ shinwon: random hugs every chance he’d get. shinwon’s hugs would be light and playful that would never fail to put a smile on your face. his hugs would always manage to brighten your day. his hugs would perfectly balance out serious moments. like, if you were feeling under the weather, his hugs would be that something that was missing and would make you feel better.

↳ changgu: changgu would also give the best hugs where he’d rest his head on your shoulder. i think his hugs would feel a lot like entering your home or any place after being out in the cold and it’s be perfectly warm. his hugs would be perfectly lighthearted and would serve as something that you’d look forward to every day and he’d be more than happy to cuddle you.

↳ yanan: idk how to explain it but his hugs would basically show how much he loves you and that would be deeply. yanan’s hugs would be comforting and gentle. i think at times he would be a little shy to hug you around others but there would be those moments where you’d be in your own little bubble and he would not care who’d be around. if he wanted to hug you, he would.

↳ yuto: shy hugs. even if you’d be together for years, yuto would always be somewhat shy to hug you, especially in front of others. as much as his hugs would be comforting for you, they would also be comforting for him. you would look forward to yuto’s hugs after a long day and he would be more than happy to provide you with warmth and a moment of calm through hugs.

↳ kino: he’s such a touchy person that there would not be a moment that passes where he wouldn’t be hugging you. it would not matter where you are, he’d pull you into hugs just because he can and there would be no complaints from you. hyunggu’s hugs would be very difficult to explain because they’d be that amazing and would probably always leave you a little speechless.

↳ wooseok: the kind of hugs where he thinks that he’s not as tall as he actually is (sort of like giant dogs thinking they’re super tiny) and he’d wrap his arms tightly around you but not too tight where it’s be uncomfortable. his hugs would be just right for you. i could see him awkwardly rubbing your back to soothe you but you’d appreciate it all the same and he’d be proud of himself.

Kino’s been locked in the studio since the early hours of dawn, and as much as you knew it was part of his work, you couldn’t help but cave into the urge to visit him at work, just to ensure that he’s looking after himself whilst he’s busy. Though, you knew him too well. He wouldn’t have eaten since leaving early this morning, the ideas of work controlling his ability to even think of anything else other than getting that one song done to complete the album that he’s been working on for days.

On your way to the building, you notice a new bakery that was due to close fairly soon, interested in seeing if they by any chance had anything that you could pick up to surprise your boyfriend. With luck on your side, they had a few options, but all that you picked out had to be complimented with his favourite coffee, couldn’t go into a cafe without picking one up.

“I really hope he likes these treats,” you mumble to yourself, clutching the goods close to your chest as you head towards the door of the CUBE building.

It must’ve seemed like you were full of luck today, considering that a few of his members were in the lobby, quick to notice you approaching the door with full hands, Hui rushing towards the door, propping it open for you.

With a soft smile, he nods at you, knowing exactly what you were about to ask, “He’s in studio 12, hasn’t come out of that room at all yet today,” he scoffs, amused by your eye roll.

“Of course,” you huff in reply, “I could’ve never guessed, thank you Hui, see you in a bit!”.

Cutting the chit-chat short, you rush to the studio, using your elbow to open the door. Considering of how much noise you were making with slight cusses and sounds of trying to open the door, Kino was oblivious to it all, headphones blocking out any external sounds from behind him. Noticing a space on the table beside him, you carefully put down his food and coffee, wasting no time in throwing your arms around him, making him jump slightly.

“Ya! What-” he bites bitterly, calming down instantly when he realises who’s around him, “Sorry baby girl... What are you doing here?” a look of confusion is received as you let loose of your grip around him, smiling sweetly, rushing to grab the treats and coffee off the table.

“I bought you these!!” you excited squeal, “I know you haven’t eaten since you left this morning, so you’re going to eat now, whilst im here,” you tell him, a hint of bossiness coming through and Kino raises an eyebrow.
