early life

his father, lyall, had met hope while he was traveling around wales on a ministry trip to help with an outbreak of boggarts (saw this idea on tumblr before but idk who said it)

they fell in love blah blah blah and hope got pregnant with remus

lyall was back in london, but she knew where he was, so she sent him a letter (he didn't have a telephone), and told him he was the father

he got permission to work in wales, so they got married and bought a house near penarth

when he was almost five, remus was bitten by greyback

his parents did the best they could to take care of him, but with his condition worsening each year, lyall insisted he take him to london so he could be closer to the ministry & st. mungos

hope stayed in wales

hogwarts years

when he first started at hogwarts, his first friend was lily, until they had a falling out due to her friendship with snape

james adopted him becus he had a crush on lily, but the rest of the marauders slowly learnt he was a hidden genius

while james and sirius get up to mischief on their own, remus and peter like to play pranks on them

peter is acc really caring for remus, too

like he'll steal a bunch of food from the kitchens and sweets from honeydukes for him before n after the full moon

remus and lily made up soon enough after she apologized

right before 3rd year started, lyall got very sick and they had to move back in with hope

remus resented hope at first but grew to love her

lyall died middle of 3rd year

remus developed feelings for sirius in his 3rd year

remus was the one who confessed to sirius, but he did it after they'd been kissing pals for a rly long time

yeah and that's all i got for rn might do a pt 2 someday
