私たちは、和紙・漆・本金箔を使った平たくて短い糸を使った伝統的な織物「引箔」を創業以来大事に守り、「本金引箔」または「本金柄箔」の絹織物を製織しています。

「引箔」は今は西陣、もしくは丹後の一部だけで織られている、奥が深くて味わいのある珍しい織物です。

私たちは「箔糸」という素材・私たちの技術と伝統を守っていく為に、「引箔」という織技法を知って頂き、新たな需要を見出す事が「引箔」を次世代へ繋いでいくと信じています。

【全正絹西陣織金襴真珠粉本銀箔模様引箔　製品】

●箔糸・「楽芸工房」 @rakugei_kobo で「和紙・本銀・真珠の粉」の「箔糸」を制作。・「竹内裁断所」にてギロチンという裁断機で一本約0.3mmに裁断。

●制作指揮・紋意匠・製織　「独楽つなぎ紋様」をリデザインして紋意匠化。シャットル力織機で順番に一本一本織り込んでいく「順引き」、組織、ジャカードによる紋様。「岡本織物株式会社」 @nishijin.okamoto

●後加工　後加工「張り」を「樋口金襴整理店」にて手仕事で。

●タペストリー縫製　金襴地・正絹・麻等で袈裟を仕立てている仕立て屋にて縫製。

●クッション縫製　　大正14年創業の京都伏見の「大東寝具工業ねむりの蔵」 @daitoushingu にて縫製。

私たちは先祖から受け継がれてきた京都や西陣地域の技術や素材を大切にし、これからも西陣織金襴を守り続けていきます。

Since its establishment, the company has carefully preserved the traditional "Hiki-baku (Hiki foil)" weaving technique using flat, short threads of Japanese paper, lacquer and real gold leaf, and weaves silk fabrics with "real gold leaf" and "real gold patterned leaf".
