UN RÉGIME DE PRIÈRE STRICT

Et quand il eut renvoyé les multitudes, il monta à l'écart sur une montagne pour prier; et le soir étant venu, il y était seul (Matthieu 14:23).

La prière fait partie de notre ministère sacerdotal. La Bible dit que les hommes doivent toujours prier et ne pas abandonner. Le Seigneur Jésus nous a montré, avec des exemples pratiques, l'importance et la puissance de la prière. Marc 1:35 MSG nous dit: "Alors qu'il faisait encore nuit, bien avant l'aube, il se leva et sortit dans un endroit isolé et pria." Luc 5:16 dit: "Et il se retira dans le désert et pria."

Jésus était discipliné avec sa routine de prière, et nous devons l'imiter. Vous êtes un soldat dans l'armée de Dieu, et la marque d'un soldat est la discipline. Le christianisme est un appel à une vie de discipline spirituelle. Il y a une vie de prière disciplinée que vous devez cultiver, et vous ne pouvez pas la laisser de côté ou la laisser au hasard.

Vous ne pouvez pas dire : « Je prierai chaque fois que j'en aurai envie » ; non! Dans l'armée, vous ne faites pas les choses quand ou parce que vous en avez envie ; vous faites des choses parce que vous devez les faire. Vous vous en tenez au calendrier; les excuses ne sont pas tolérées. Les heures de prière prévues doivent faire partie intégrante de votre routine quotidienne. Tout d'abord, vous devez avoir un horaire de prière personnel. Dans de tels moments, rien d'autre ne devrait être plus important. Disciplinez-vous et priez ; éviter les distractions.

Deuxièmement, prenez au sérieux vos moments de prière en entreprise, que vous participiez sur place ou en ligne. C'est l'un des nombreux avantages d'être membre d'une église locale. Les églises ont des structures et les membres du corps de Christ appartiennent généralement à une église. À travers la structure de l'église, il pourrait y avoir des temps de prière attribués à différents groupes de cellules ou même toute l'église pourrait prier ensemble à des moments précis. Assurez-vous d'en faire partie.

THEME: TRAIN YOURSELF TO PRAY

“And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God” (Luke 6:12).

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Prayer is a spiritual exercise that you must train for. If you do not train yourself to pray, you will never know how to pray effectively. If all you knew to do was mumble a few words in two minutes and you are done, it is time to get some training and discipline.

We see the example of the Master in our opening scripture. As long as your body is calling for food or itching to go do some other things while you ought to be praying, that is the more reason you must remain there and subject your body to the discipline of the Spirit.

However, the purpose of prayer is not merely to control or discipline your body, as good as that is. The main purpose of prayer is the conditioning of your spirit, and this is far more important. Prayer brings your spirit to a certain condition that makes your relationship and fellowship with God’s Spirit more real and synchronized with His will and purpose.

Then you find that His thoughts become your thoughts and His words become your words. That is when He puts a word in your mouth which you speak forth and it produces results. It reminds of induced magnetism. If you keep an object beside a magnet long enough, the magnet will induce it to become magnetic itself.

It is the same thing with the Holy Spirit and you; the more you spend time in fellowship with Him, the more His person, glory, character, wisdom and grace are revealed in your walk and in your talk! But if all you do is a few minutes of prayer occasionally, that is not sufficient time for Him to condition your spirit and have Himself expressed in and through you in a remarkable way.

You need to give the Lord time and attention in the place of prayer and become so influenced by Him that you acquire His character and mannerisms. Then you find that your way of thinking and talking (your choice of words) have become so refined by Him. Train yourself for that conditioning to take place. FOLLOW JESUS, NO MATTER WHAT! “You have had enough in the past of the evil things the godless enjoy—sex sin, lust, getting drunk, wild parties, drinking bouts, and the worship of idols, and other terrible sins. Of course, your former friends will be very surprised when you don’t eagerly join them anymore in the wicked things they do, and they will laugh at you in contempt and scorn.” 1 Peter 4:3-4 TLB Fred, formerly known as Brute Fred, was now being treated like a freak by his former gang members and the classmates he’d bullied in the past. Now every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, he’d step aside to join the PastorChrisLive prayers. At the end of such times of intercession, they’d all jeer at him. Also, as a result of his incessant preaching about Jesus Christ, they nicknamed him “Jesus Freak Fred.” However, Fred was undaunted by the taunting and scorn; he only continued praying for his friends and peers that they too would come into the light of the Gospel. Living by God’s Word comes with the price of being ridiculed at times. Many will be surprised when you don’t join them in the same wild and reckless living, and as was done to Fred, they’ll insult and vilify you. However, don’t be ashamed to stand up for the Lord, no matter the persecutions. He stood up for and saved you, so you must stand up for Him. Don’t be concerned that you may be isolated or ostracised . Jesus loves you even if all others forsake you, and He won’t abandon you. He’s in you and always with you (Matthew 28:20). Irrespective of the evil or abuses they haul at you because you ‘follow’ Jesus, never be ashamed. Your association with Christ is the greatest honour ever. Live according to God’s Word and let nothing cause you to ignore or neglect your salvation. Jesus said in Matthew 5:11-12, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. EXERCEZ-VOUS À PRIER

En ce temps-là, JÉSUS se rendit sur la montagne pour PRIER, et Il passa toute la nuit à PRIER Dieu (#Luc 6:12).

La PRIÈRE est un EXERCICE SPIRITUEL pour lequel vous devez vous ENTRAÎNER. Si vous Ne vous exercez Pas à PRIER, vous Ne saurez Jamais comment PRIER Efficacement. Si tout ce que vous savez faire est de Marmonner quelques mots et en deux minutes vous avez Fini, alors il est temps de vous EXERCER et de vous DISCIPLINER.

Nous voyons l’exemple du Maître dans notre verset d’ouverture. Tant que votre corps Réclame de la nourriture, ou s’il Continue Incessamment de vous INCITER à faire autre chose alors que vous devriez être en train de PRIER, c’est une raison de Plus pour RESTER sur place et SOUMETTRE votre corps à la Discipline de l’Esprit.

Cependant, le BUT de la PRIÈRE N’est Pas simplement de DISCIPLINER ou d’avoir la MAÎTRISE de votre corps, quand bien cela est un BON RÉSULTAT. Le BUT PRINCIPAL de la PRIÈRE est le Conditionnement de votre esprit, car ceci est Bien Plus IMPORTANT. La PRIÈRE Apporte un certain Conditionnement dans votre esprit; ce qui rend votre RELATION et votre COMMUNION avec l’Esprit de Dieu plus RÉELLES et plus SYNCHRONISÉES avec Sa VOLONTÉ et Son DESSEIN.

Vous constatez alors que Ses PENSÉES deviennent vos Pensées et Ses PAROLES Deviennent vos Paroles. C’est ainsi qu’Il met dans votre bouche une PAROLE que vous Proclamez et cela PRODUIT des RÉSULTATS. Cela nous rappelle le Phénomène d’induction électromagnétique. Si vous posez un objet à côté d’un aimant pendant longtemps, l’aimant l’induira à Devenir lui-même magnétique.

Il en est de même avec le SAINT-ESPRIT et vous; Plus vous Passez du temps en COMMUNION avec Lui, Plus Sa PERSONNE, Sa GLOIRE, Son CARACTÈRE, Sa SAGESSE et Sa GRÂCE sont RÉVÉLÉS dans votre marche et dans votre langage! Mais si vous Ne faites que quelques minutes de PRIÈRE de temps en temps, ce N’est Pas assez Suffisant pour que votre esprit soit CONDITIONNÉ et que Dieu s’Exprime en vous et à travers vous de manière REMARQUABLE.

Vous Devez Lui ACCORDER du temps et de l’attention dans le lieu de la PRIÈRE. C’est là que vous Devenez si INFLUENCÉ par Lui au point d’Acquérir Son CARACTÈRE et Ses MANIÈRES. Ensuite, vous constatez que votre façon de PENSER et de PARLER (vos choix de mots) devient RAFFINÉE par Lui. EXERCEZ-VOUS de sorte que ce Conditionnement se réalise.
