I feel like there should be a day of the year dedicated to remembering the animal buddies you’ve had and lost through the years

#first two are Aglet and Furby :( my first rabbits #they lived to double digits and died of old age #Aglet passed away hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized (her old body was just failing) #and Furby I euthanized due to advanced arthritis #then Bailey and Marmaduke my childhood cat and dog #they both lived with my parents and passed away at ripe old ages #Wheat Thick I think most of you know about! she had to be euthanized after she inhaled a piece of hay #dumbest way to die if you ask me #and then of course Anzu and Yennefer. 2/3 of my ILT chickens #they were beautiful and goofy birds and I miss them very much #I 100% do not believe in an afterlife but the though of meeting all these guys again is a nice daydream

these scenes are very conflicting to me cuz on one hand its cute that bailey has a soft spot for younger kids and genuinely cares about keeping them safe from the assholes of town (until they reach 18 at least) but on the other hand i dont understand why pc is so confused by their own memories? i wanna be like "huh maybe they did something to mess with the kids heads to keep them happy and not notice things" but also like??? we get molested every time we step outside OBVIOUSLY bailey and his goons arent going to let kids go out on their own that should be a comfort not something that gives them anxiety

But with some reinforcement, we were able to have a serious talk with the terrors and hopefully a big lesson was learned.
