According to Al-Quds News Agency, Israeli Occupation Forces took the picture of an occupation soldier with an old Palestinian man on his arm.

Occupation Forces killed the old Palestinian man soon after the photo was taken according to the man's granddaughter and Al-Quds News.

Israel Not Complying with World Court Order in Genocide Case

Written by Human Rights Watch, published 26 February 2024

The Israeli government has failed to comply with at least one measure in the legally binding order from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in South Africa’s genocide case, Human Rights Watch said today. Citing warnings about “catastrophic conditions” in Gaza, the court ordered Israel on January 26, 2024, to “take immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian aid,” and to report back on its compliance to the specific measures “within one month.”

One month later, however, Israel continues to obstruct the provision of basic services and the entry and distribution within Gaza of fuel and lifesaving aid, acts of collective punishment that amount to war crimes and include the use of starvation of civilians as a weapon of war. Fewer trucks have entered Gaza and fewer aid missions have been permitted to reach northern Gaza in the several weeks since the ruling than in the weeks preceding it, according to United Nations Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

“The Israeli government is starving Gaza’s 2.3 million Palestinians, putting them in even more peril than before the World Court’s binding order,” said Omar Shakir, Israel and Palestine director at Human Rights Watch. “The Israeli government has simply ignored the court’s ruling, and in some ways even intensified its repression, including further blocking lifesaving aid.”

Other countries should use all forms of leverage, including sanctions and embargoes, to press the Israeli government to comply with the court’s binding orders in the genocide case, Human Rights Watch said.

… The daily average number of trucks entering Gaza with food, aid, and medicine dropped by more than a third in the weeks following the ICJ ruling: 93 trucks between January 27 and February 21, 2024, compared to 147 trucks between January 1 and 26, and only 57 between February 9 and 21.

By comparison, an average of 500 trucks of food and goods entered Gaza each day before the escalation in hostilities in October, during which time 1.2 million people in Gaza were estimated to be facing acute food insecurity, and 80 percent of Gaza’s population were reliant on humanitarian aid amid Israel's more than 16-year-long unlawful closure.

“Israel’s ground forces are able to reach all parts of Gaza, so Israeli authorities clearly have the capacity to ensure that aid reaches all of Gaza,” Shakir said.

Not sure if everyone already knew this but I hadn't realised there was a wall between Palestine and Israel. Makes sense, but still.

It's actually insane, all the graffiti and the voices held here:

I was watching some videos on Palestine culture (for a book I'm writing) and these videos were made a bit ago, but the illustrations and writings are still prominent. The following videos are more recent:

Some screenshots of Immy and Tani's vlog to Palestine 9 months ago

And screenshots from Nora and Khalil's journey in Palestine a year ago. Nora leaves on a rather sad note, but I think she mentions a pretty important point in Palestine's current situation as well as all over the world, people being unable to go places because of "who they are."

My favourite graffiti in their video is the hole illusion, breaking to the other side (like when they tore down the berlin wall, and how happy and free the people on both sides were).

Anyways, I thought I'd just share some of this because its deep and meaningful. I have strong hope that Palestine will be free again.

I'd also encourage you to look up some of the graffiti --it's interesting and then the fact that other artists go over them to change meanings. Even the walls are a constant battle.

Originally, this referred to the initial ethnic cleansing operations during the establishment of the occupation state after WWII.

As of right now at least 9061 Palestinians have been killed since Israel started its attack on Gaza they have cut off Palestinians access to the internet food and water. The people in power right now have not condemned Israel's war crimes nor have they sent aid to Palestine. The people in power and the media are creating an increasingly hostiles environment for those calling for a ceasefire and trying to talk about Palestine while promoting misleading news stories about Palestine and Israel. I'm writing this post so that I can be absolutely clear: we know and we see what's happening. The people in power see what's happening. The rich and influential see what's happening. The average citizen from almost every country in the world sees what's happening. There is no excuse for us not to take action I want you to hold us to that future reader because every one of us who don't say something, donate to a charity if we have the money, go to a protest if we can make it, interact with a post online (that we have fact checked first), done something or anything to help Palestinians, have stood by and watched genocide. Future Palestinians I hope we did everything in our power to help you when you needed it.
