I decided I would make flags for all the tribes so here are the first four. (Yes I'm aware imperius technically has a canon flag but it's boring) ​ **Imperius:** I thought I'd go for a unique shape with this, so I went with a gonfalon that hangs from the top rather than the side. The three points could represent three parts of government if you want to add extra lore to it (Senate, Electorate, Emperor maybe), or alternatively they represent winning with all three stars. The red around the white in the middle represents the conquest and expansion that is done to keep peace within their Empire. **Bardur:** Just a basic nordic cross here, the black represents the bardur people, the white represents the landscape, and the blue represents the seas used to travel between bardur outposts. **Xin-xi:** The outward pointing black spikes represent the natural defences formed by the mountains, the yellow border represents the natural resources of gold and wood, and the plus formed in the middle of the two spikes represents the health and the strength of the xin-xi people. **Oumaji:** Another interesting shape, this time a long swallowtail pennant. The green stripe represents life thriving while surrounded by the yellow of the desert, and the flower is supposed to look like a cactus flower.

So I have a fun little announcement to make! I recently redownloaded pinterest for drink recipes (I'm a junior mixologist in training, don't ya know) and I decided to make a board for Polytopia aesthetics! The Tope Hunger Games

So I've been thinking about this for a while now. I've been getting back into the Hunger Games after reading the books for myself recently (my mom read them to us when we were kids) and I'm so in love with this series. Suzanne Collins really created something truly amazing.

The great thing about Polytopia? It fits into the Hunger Games universe really well! The twelve normal tribes make up the twelve districts, and the four special tribes make up the Capitol. Every tribe specializes in one thing, which can be used as that district's purpose, like in the books. They really have mixed together so seamlessly, it's been a really fun writing experience.

This will be the masterlist for the Tope Hunger Games, as well as some general information I'm putting together in my canonverse. Likewise, if you want to read about a specific character in this setting, go to their tribe's masterlist to find their story. All of my OCs are the ones in these stories, so hopefully you're already familiar with some of the characters.

Real quick, here's a ranking of the tribes, what districts they're in, and what they specialize in.

Xin-xi: District 1, mining, Callow, poor, unskilled

Imperius: District 2, military, Career, wealthy, skilled

Bardur: District 3, hunting/livestock, Career, well-to-do, skilled

Hope this helps! I tend to use the districts instead of the tribe names, so it may get confusing. How I picture them looking, as well as what their tribe land looks like, remains canon. It's basically just Polytopia in the Hunger Games, with THG weapons and technology and stuff.

Like I said, the stories (once I get them) will be linked both here, and on each tribe's specific masterlist. This will probably take a while to update, since I want to write all of their original stories first, so you have a better understanding of their personalities. I just couldn't wait to post this.

Introducing the Oumaji

Now for some of our favorite desert dwellers! There are lots of characters here that are important, significant, or make lots of appearances, but I don't want to go over every single one, so you just get a few of them.

First up is Keha. She's the daughter of the highest ruling monarchs, up next in line for the throne alongside her twin brother. Oumaji custom has potential heirs complete their training in other cities, and Keha is sent to the home of those who believe her parents stole the throne, and she has to compete against their son, who wants to reclaim the throne his mother lost.

While Keha can be brash and hot-headed, but she's also very smart, perceptive, and clever, which can result in an infuriating smugness. She's able to separate her anger for thoughtfulness, which makes her fair and just.

I had a bit of an internal debate of who to show next, but in the end I chose Siye. Siye is the son of the leaders Keha stays with, and he's the one trying to take the throne back from her and her brother. He and Keha are pretty evenly matched, but Siye is much more reserved and secretive, and he's grown up to be more conniving than Keha.

Because of his mother's resentment towards Keha's mother, he's grown up having to be absolutely perfect. Instead of receiving praise as a child, all he ever heard was how other people will cheat him out of what he deserves, and how he can never trust anyone.

Next is Keon, Keha's twin brother. He's also in line for the throne, and while technically only one twin can rule, the odds are they'll rule together. Keon is more carefree than Keha, and ruling isn't a huge priority of his. Secretly, Keon wants to travel the Square and meet other people. He's just a curious person.

Lastly is Basi. She's Keha's personal guard while she studies abroad. At first she's just there on official business, but the two quickly become friends in a hostile environment. Basi herself is sweet and wise, and she eventually becomes Keha's personal advisor in war and political efforts.

Oumaji design

To the left is Keha, to the right is Siye. They both have brown skin with light freckles, light brown hair, bright yellow eyes, and yellow and dark brown clothes. I thought lighter brown hair would be a cool look, as well as some freckles, since neither are very common on darker skin.

Hello, and welcome to my blog, all-things-tope! I've been a fan of Polytopia for a little over a year now, but I'm not much of a strategist or a gamer, so I just focus on the fanfiction/fanart aspects. Reddit has a good base for the strategy of the game, but there's not much of anything else, anywhere else, so this is my effort to create an environment for people like me :)

This post will be a masterlist of my personal characters, stories, lore, and so on. Keep in mind that I'm a college student and the only one running this blog, as well as someone who deals with depression and executive dysfunction. While I'll try to be present on here, don't be surprised if there are lapses of activity. It doesn't mean the blog is dead or inactive, it just means I'm either sad or busy lol

The feather is supposed to be the same as the ones they have in their headdresses. **Hoodrick:** Boring symbolism here, the arrows are sort of obvious. I chose the colours based off the flag of Nottingham, where the myth of Robin Hood is set. **Luxidoor:** Purple is the colour associated with the luxidoor people, and gold represents wealth. The symbol in the middle is designed to look like a gemstone cut in the shape of the sun. **Vengir:** The three points of the tongued swallow tail represent the three points on vendor helmets, and the black and white design is shaped to look like a sword. (This is probably my second favourite of the eight I've done so far, behind the oumaji flag)
