This cute sea otter is now in my shops!
This pattern was originally for the #earthdaysal but I have revamped it for those that missed the bundle. This sweet bebe includes SIX variations!! They're holding the earth, a book, a rainbow heart, an otter pup, a starfish, and a skull! I had to do the skull because I have no self control.
Find this sweet, floating water cat in my shops!
Tfw your brother fluffs your suit up so you don't sink but then he got distracted & ditched you so now you're just floating uselessly out to sea hoping he remembers you sometime soon :///
Do the recent frosty mornings have you bundling up or adjusting the thermostat? Consider the mighty mustelids who must survive in chilly ocean water year-round. How do they stay warm? By fluffing up their incredibly furry coats! Sea otters boast the world’s densest fur—up to a million hairs per square inch. They also power their internal metabolic furnace by eating up to 25 percent of their body weight each day. Pass the snacks!
Leisurely Otter: A unique lifeform that lives in the water. Rumor has it that this creature has a deep phylogenetic relationship with the weasels that can be seen quite commonly on land. Its temperament is meek and indolent, and the rhythm of its existence is unhurried, bearing no sense of stress within its being.
When people encounter these languid otters, they often find these creatures floating with their backs facing the water, bringing both their paws together as a gesture of greeting. However, beneath their leisurely facade, they also possess a cleverness in their living, bearing enough intellect to use reefs to open up shellfish or mollusks in hopes of extracting delicious sustenance. Sometimes, after finding themselves stuffed from a massive meal, they won't need to forage for quite some time, allowing them to condense their eating habits into something best described as "stuff yourself lots now and rest lots more later."
