Depending on what time you get to his party, Allan has made a gift for you or a snack for him.

I love simple gifts.
Homemade jam, used books with notes and creased pages, hand crocheted hats even just a basket of extras from your garden.

When I say my products are 100% handmade, that's only the surface. They're also 100% showcased, 100% processed/organized, and 100% packaged/shipped by myself as well. I find that some people don't realize that a small handmade business is more than just making the product. It is also promoting it on your socials, organizing ways and processes to manage your orders, financial accounting (very important), packaging, and customer service.
I think this level of work and detail shows in my reviews as customers see more than just the product, they recognize the raw passion that goes into every order that goes out. :) ETSY | WEBSITE

This holiday season, if you're feeling frustrated that people don't want to wear the hand knit things you've given them, consider the risks of the alternative-
Two years ago I made my dad a fair isle hat for Christmas and he wears it all the time. Which is awesome! Except for the fact that I was a newbie knitter when I made it, and it's about 2 inches too tall, so he wears it with the brim folded up, showing off the exact spot where I wove in the contrasting color yarn tail to the entire world. All winter I have to stare at that goddamn yarn tail and have to keep my mouth shut because loves the hat. I have no idea how he gets it front and center every time but he does and I hate it 😂

Bound: Mijan's Academy Series
All done!
I spent a long time on this project, including typesetting an entirely different extremely long fic before changing my mind completely. It's a Christmas gift for my husband, who is a huge Star Trek fan. He loves to read, but fanfic? I don't know!
So with the help from those more knowledgeable than me, I chose this series of fics. It would have been 1000 pages in one volume, so I decided to split it into three to make it easier to read.
Except for the failure of the execution of the spine design (it looks a bit more abstract than I'd envisioned), I'm very happy with how these came out.
Body font: Corundum Text
Chapters, titles, drop caps: Orbitron
Section dividers: Trekbats
Graphics came from thenounproject.com: 1 2
End papers: Craft Consortium Patina

Reminder for the holidays this year. Homemade, thrifted, and homegrown gifts are amazing.
A house plant or herbs from your window box. Eggs from your hens if you got them. Home baked goods and thrifted clothes/decor are all great gifts. A thrifted basket full of homemade candy and treats with a nice throw from the goodwill is a 10/10 gift that doesn't break the bank.
