If you think Tumblr is so morally reprehensible as a company that their continued existence isn't worth it and it's evil to buy anything from them, log off...

honestly I only just realized why I never ever see most of the harassment campaigns and callouts going on on this site
first I block people with shitty dirtbag left vibes because they'll betray anyone for clout
Then I block any seHighlighted terfs and fellow travelers cuz duh
Then I block people who seem to spend way too long trying to interact with those groups, or going They Have A Point. And then I block and filter video games and other media I really hate seeing people jabber about.
So that nukes out like 98 percent of perpetrators and like 97 percent of their victims. And otherwise have a far better dash to read and respond to.

i knew deep in my bones as a teenager that doing well in school wldnt actually matter in the long run n i just needed to not let it kill me but it is still very insane-making how i was Good At School up until i really wasnt and every adult in my life was SO sure i had to get Good At School again and now the skills i actually need to earn a living are just. communication, focus, lying, pattern recognition. which is pretty much what made me good at school but no one was telling me "wow you did so good on the SATs you would make an excellent shop assistant" everyone was all about going to uni and getting a degree and. idek. writing essays abt books full-time. my primary (currently hypothetical) work-related problems are when managers aren't autistic, and minimum wage isn't a living wage, and not getting sick pay. how would finishing my A levels have helped with any of those

seeing someon being like "woww we did it guys. binders at target. *sighs* i hate capitalism" is honestly frustrating considering how inaccessible safe binding is if you can't order stuff online or from explicitly trans websites. back when i was in high school, i knew multiple kids who would be THRILLED to have these compression tops! yes, they're not as sturdy as a full binder, but they're a good in-between, especially for teens who gotta stay closeted or with unsupportive families! seeing this important step in accessibility for our trans and gnc youth get treated as cringe because it's a big corporation is infuriating. THIS IS SOME TRANS PPLS ONLY HOPES FOR ACCESSING SAFE AND COMFORTABLE BINDING. Don't let your anticapitalist ideals come before that, you fucking walnuts. Getting safe binders/compression tops into large chains is part of the GOAL.
