It won't have antisemitism to rely on, but we should be vigilant for the anti-democracy left and right to display elevated demonisation toward Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, The Phillipines, and potentially India. This will be in the next 2-8 years.
They will do this because the CCP in China does not want those countries to have the USA, Australia, and New Zealand as allies.
This will signify a Chinese psy-op campaign to strip the east asian democracies of their most powerful allies, particularly the US. If the war in Ukraine expands, and maybe if it doesn't, we should expect the anti-democracy left and right to display elevated demonisation toward whatever nations Russia wants to attack next. Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Moldova, and Romania would be likely targets. This will be in the next 1-3 years.
They will do this because Vladimir Putin does not want those countries to have the USA, Canada, or the UK as allies. We should look out for this demonisation happening in French, German, Italian, and Swedish spaces as well.
This is because Vladimir Putin does not want the European countries on its border to have the support of the EU, in particular its most competent militaries and economies.
Either of these will signify a Russian psy-op campaign to strip the central and eastern european democracies of their most powerful allies, particularly NATO.
In all cases, China, Russia, Iran (as it is doing with Israel right now), will seek to demonise democracies world wide. They will try to tell us that they are asking us to give up some of OUR comfort (by protesting, raising awareness, "not letting /something/ slide"), which we are often willing to do; but they are not trying to deprive US of our democratic allies. They are trying to deprive our democratic allies of US.

Last year, after Disney had the temerity to issue a statement opposing one of his prized legislative initiatives, Ron DeSantis punished the company by removing its self-governing status. (DeSantis justified the maneuver as a removal of unjustified privileges, but he had not previously opposed Disney’s status and made little attempt to disguise its nakedly retaliatory nature).
On Monday, he took matters much further. DeSantis appointed a board to oversee Disney. The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is stacked with DeSantis cronies, including Bridget Ziegler, a proponent of his education policies; Ron Peri, who heads the Christian ministry the Gathering USA; and Michael Sasso, president of the Federalist Society’s Orlando chapter.
While the board handles infrastructure and maintenance, DeSantis boasted that it could use its leverage to force Disney to stop “trying to inject woke ideology” on children.
“When you lose your way, you’ve got to have people that are going to tell you the truth,” DeSantis proclaimed. “So we hope they can get back on. But I think all of these board members very much would like to see the type of entertainment that all families can appreciate.”
It is worth pausing a moment to grasp the full breadth of what is going on here. First, DeSantis established the principle that he can and will use the power of the state to punish private firms that exercise their First Amendment right to criticize his positions. Now he is promising to continue exerting state power to pressure the firm to produce content that comports with his own ideological agenda.
Whether he is successful remains to be seen. But a few things ought to be clear. First, DeSantis’s treatment of Disney is not a one-off but a centerpiece of his legacy in Florida. He has repeatedly invoked the episode in his speeches, and his allies have held it up as evidence of his strength and dominance. The Murdoch media empire, which is functionally an arm of the DeSantis campaign, highlighted the Disney conquest in a New York Post front page and a Fox & Friends segment and DeSantis touted his move in a Wall Street Journal op-ed.
Second, DeSantis’s authoritarian methods have met with vanishingly little resistance within his party. The only detectable Republican pushback has come from New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who warned, “Look, Ron’s a very good Governor. But I’m just trying to remind folks what we are at our core. And if we’re trying to beat the Democrats at being big-government authoritarians, remember what’s going to happen. Eventually, they’ll have power … and then they’ll start penalizing conservative businesses and conservative nonprofits and conservative ideas.” (Of course, this warning holds only if Republicans believe they will have to relinquish power. If DeSantis can truly follow the example of Viktor Orbán, losing power becomes only a theoretical risk.)
And third, DeSantis has been very explicit about his belief that he sees his methods in Florida as a blueprint for a national agenda. So there is every reason to believe that, if elected president, DeSantis would use government power to force both public and private institutions to toe his line. Speaking out against him, or even producing content he disapproves of, would become a financially risky proposition.
Part of what makes DeSantis so dangerous is that Donald Trump created a very defined idea of authoritarianism in the minds of his critics. His refusal to accept the 2020 presidential-election results was indeed a dangerous attack on democratic legitimacy — but this especially notorious episode has overshadowed his other efforts to abuse state power. Trump wielded federal regulations to punish the owners of the Washington Post and CNN for coverage he disapproved of and used diplomatic leverage to extort Ukraine into smearing his political rival. Republicans either supported or ignored these abuses of power.
To whatever extent they have principled objections to authoritarianism, those objections are limited almost entirely to fomenting a violent mob to overturn an election. And while inciting an insurrection is extremely dangerous, it hardly exhausts the scope of illiberal tools available to a sufficiently ruthless executive.
Damon Linker recently criticized liberals for unfairly calling DeSantis as bad as Trump. Linker’s prediction that a second Trump administration would be more dangerous than a first DeSantis administration might be correct. But it’s hard for me to understand how he can state this so confidently when he acknowledges DeSantis’s illiberal intentions and lack of democratic scruples. Comparing the relative evils of two authoritarian-minded leaders seems to be mainly an exercise in guesswork.
A year ago, I wrote a long profile of DeSantis, in which his deep-rooted distrust of liberal democracy was a major theme. Last fall, I attended the National Conservatism Conference, where the attendees laid out rather plainly their ambition to turn DeSantis into a model for a ruthless, illiberal party that would use the organs of the state to crush its enemies. Since those pieces appeared, DeSantis’s actions have made me more, not less, concerned.
Whether DeSantis would actually do more damage to American democracy in office than Trump could remains hard to say. Perhaps, perhaps not. But we should recognize that he is not putting himself forward as a critic of Trump’s authoritarianism. He is promising, on the contrary, to exceed it.

De volledige open brief van President Biden over de USA politiek tegenover Israël en Palestina
Opinion  Joe Biden: The U.S. won’t back down from the challenge of Putin and Hamashttps://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/11/18/joe-biden-gaza-hamas-putin/ De Bron is de publicatie in de Washington Post. Dit kan natuurlijk veranderen maar momenteel ziet het er niet naar uit. begin citaat " Today, the world faces an inflection point, where the choices we make — including in the crises in Europe and the Middle East — will determine the direction of our future for generations to come. What will our world look like on the other side of these conflicts? Will we deny Hamas the ability to carry out pure, unadulterated evil? Will Israelis and Palestinians one day live side by side in peace, with two states for two peoples? Will we hold Vladimir Putin accountable for his aggression, so the people of Ukraine can live free and Europe remains an anchor for global peace and security? And the overarching question: Will we relentlessly pursue our positive vision for the future, or will we allow those who do not share our values to drag the world to a more dangerous and divided place? Both Putin and Hamas are fighting to wipe a neighboring democracy off the map. And both Putin and Hamas hope to collapse broader regional stability and integration and take advantage of the ensuing disorder. America cannot, and will not, let that happen. For our own national security interests — and for the good of the entire world. The United States is the essential nation. We rally allies and partners to stand up to aggressors and make progress toward a brighter, more peaceful future. The world looks to us to solve the problems of our time. That is the duty of leadership, and America will lead. For if we walk away from the challenges of today, the risk of conflict could spread, and the costs to address them will only rise. We will not let that happen. That conviction is at the root of my approach to supporting the people of Ukraine as they continue to defend their freedom against Putin’s brutal war. We know from two world wars in the past century that when aggression in Europe goes unanswered, the crisis does not burn itself out. It draws America in directly. That’s why our commitment to Ukraine today is an investment in our own security. It prevents a broader conflict tomorrow. We are keeping American troops out of this war by supporting the brave Ukrainians defending their freedom and homeland. We are providing them with weapons and economic assistance to stop Putin’s drive for conquest, before the conflict spreads farther. The United States is not doing this alone. More than 50 nations have joined us to ensure that Ukraine has what it needs to defend itself. Our partners are shouldering much of the economic responsibility for supporting Ukraine. We have also built a stronger and more united NATO, which enhances our security through the strength of our allies, while making clear that we will defend every inch of NATO territory to deter further Russian aggression. Our allies in Asia are standing with us as well to support Ukraine and hold Putin accountable, because they understand that stability in Europe and in the Indo-Pacific are inherently connected. We stand firmly with the Israeli people as they defend themselves against the murderous nihilism of Hamas. On Oct. 7, Hamas slaughtered 1,200 people, including 35 American citizens, in the worst atrocity committed against the Jewish people in a single day since the Holocaust. Infants and toddlers, mothers and fathers, grandparents, people with disabilities, even Holocaust survivors were maimed and murdered. Entire families were massacred in their homes. Young people were gunned down at a music festival. Bodies riddled with bullets and burned beyond recognition. And for over a month, the families of more than 200 hostages taken by Hamas, including babies and Americans, have been living in hell, anxiously waiting to discover whether their loved ones are alive or dead. At the time of this writing, my team and I are working hour by hour, doing everything we can to get the hostages released. And while Israelis are still in shock and suffering the trauma of this attack, Hamas has promised that it will relentlessly try to repeat Oct. 7. It has said very clearly that it will not stop. The Palestinian people deserve a state of their own and a future free from Hamas. I, too, am heartbroken by the images out of Gaza and the deaths of many thousands of civilians, including children. Palestinian children are crying for lost parents. Parents are writing their child’s name on their hand or leg so they can be identified if the worst happens. Palestinian nurses and doctors are trying desperately to save every precious life they possibly can, with little to no resources. Every innocent Palestinian life lost is a tragedy that rips apart families and communities. Our goal should not be simply to stop the war for today — it should be to end the war forever, break the cycle of unceasing violence, and build something stronger in Gaza and across the Middle East so that history does not keep repeating itself. Just weeks before Oct. 7, I met in New York with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The main subject of that conversation was a set of substantial commitments that would help both Israel and the Palestinian territories better integrate into the broader Middle East. That is also the idea behind the innovative economic corridor that will connect India to Europe through the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel, which I announced together with partners at the Group of 20 summit in India in early September. Stronger integration between countries creates predictable markets and draws greater investment. Better regional connection — including physical and economic infrastructure — supports higher employment and more opportunities for young people. That’s what we have been working to realize in the Middle East. It is a future that has no place for Hamas’s violence and hate, and I believe that attempting to destroy the hope for that future is one reason that Hamas instigated this crisis. This much is clear: A two-state solution is the only way to ensure the long-term security of both the Israeli and Palestinian people. Though right now it may seem like that future has never been further away, this crisis has made it more imperative than ever. A two-state solution — two peoples living side by side with equal measures of freedom, opportunity and dignity — is where the road to peace must lead. Reaching it will take commitments from Israelis and Palestinians, as well as from the United States and our allies and partners. That work must start now. To that end, the United States has proposed basic principles for how to move forward from this crisis, to give the world a foundation on which to build. To start, Gaza must never again be used as a platform for terrorism. There must be no forcible displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, no reoccupation, no siege or blockade, and no reduction in territory. And after this war is over, the voices of Palestinian people and their aspirations must be at the center of post-crisis governance in Gaza. As we strive for peace, Gaza and the West Bank should be reunited under a single governance structure, ultimately under a revitalized Palestinian Authority, as we all work toward a two-state solution. I have been emphatic with Israel’s leaders that extremist violence against Palestinians in the West Bank must stop and that those committing the violence must be held accountable. The United States is prepared to take our own steps, including issuing visa bans against extremists attacking civilians in the West Bank. The international community must commit resources to support the people of Gaza in the immediate aftermath of this crisis, including interim security measures, and establish a reconstruction mechanism to sustainably meet Gaza’s long-term needs. And it is imperative that no terrorist threats ever again emanate from Gaza or the West Bank. If we can agree on these first steps, and take them together, we can begin to imagine a different future. In the months ahead, the United States will redouble our efforts to establish a more peaceful, integrated and prosperous Middle East — a region where a day like Oct. 7 is unthinkable. In the meantime, we will continue working to prevent this conflict from spreading and escalating further. I ordered two U.S. carrier groups to the region to enhance deterrence. We are going after Hamas and those who finance and facilitate its terrorism, levying multiple rounds of sanctions to degrade Hamas’s financial structure, cutting it off from outside funding and blocking access to new funding channels, including via social media. I have also been clear that the United States will do what is necessary to defend U.S. troops and personnel stationed across the Middle East — and we have responded multiple times to the strikes against us. I also immediately traveled to Israel — the first American president to do so during wartime — to show solidarity with the Israeli people and reaffirm to the world that the United States has Israel’s back. Israel must defend itself. That is its right. And while in Tel Aviv, I also counseled Israelis against letting their hurt and rage mislead them into making mistakes we ourselves have made in the past. From the very beginning, my administration has called for respecting international humanitarian law, minimizing the loss of innocent lives and prioritizing the protection of civilians. Following Hamas’s attack on Israel, aid to Gaza was cut off, and food, water and medicine reserves dwindled rapidly. As part of my travel to Israel, I worked closely with the leaders of Israel and Egypt to reach an agreement to restart the delivery of essential humanitarian assistance to Gazans. Within days, trucks with supplies again began to cross the border. Today, nearly 100 aid trucks enter Gaza from Egypt each day, and we continue working to increase the flow of assistance manyfold. I’ve also advocated for humanitarian pauses in the conflict to permit civilians to depart areas of active fighting and to help ensure that aid reaches those in need. Israel took the additional step to create two humanitarian corridors and implement daily four-hour pauses in the fighting in northern Gaza to allow Palestinian civilians to flee to safer areas in the south. This stands in stark opposition to Hamas’s terrorist strategy: hide among Palestinian civilians. Use children and innocents as human shields. Position terrorist tunnels beneath hospitals, schools, mosques and residential buildings. Maximize the death and suffering of innocent people — Israeli and Palestinian. If Hamas cared at all for Palestinian lives, it would release all the hostages, give up arms, and surrender the leaders and those responsible for Oct. 7. As long as Hamas clings to its ideology of destruction, a cease-fire is not peace. To Hamas’s members, every cease-fire is time they exploit to rebuild their stockpile of rockets, reposition fighters and restart the killing by attacking innocents again. An outcome that leaves Hamas in control of Gaza would once more perpetuate its hate and deny Palestinian civilians the chance to build something better for themselves. And here at home, in moments when fear and suspicion, anger and rage run hard, we have to work even harder to hold on to the values that make us who we are. We’re a nation of religious freedom and freedom of expression. We all have a right to debate and disagree and peacefully protest, but without fear of being targeted at schools or workplaces or elsewhere in our communities. In recent years, too much hate has been given too much oxygen, fueling racism and an alarming rise in antisemitism in America. That has intensified in the wake of the Oct. 7 attacks. Jewish families worry about being targeted in school, while wearing symbols of their faith on the street or otherwise going about their daily lives. At the same time, too many Muslim Americans, Arab Americans and Palestinian Americans, and so many other communities, are outraged and hurting, fearing the resurgence of the Islamophobia and distrust we saw after 9/11. We can’t stand by when hate rears its head. We must, without equivocation, denounce antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of hate and bias. We must renounce violence and vitriol and see each other not as enemies but as fellow Americans. In a moment of so much violence and suffering — in Ukraine, Israel, Gaza and so many other places — it can be difficult to imagine that something different is possible. But we must never forget the lesson learned time and again throughout our history: Out of great tragedy and upheaval, enormous progress can come. More hope. More freedom. Less rage. Less grievance. Less war. We must not lose our resolve to pursue those goals, because now is when clear vision, big ideas and political courage are needed most. That is the strategy that my administration will continue to lead — in the Middle East, Europe and around the globe. Every step we take toward that future is progress that makes the world safer and the United States of America more secure." Einde Citaat Read the full article

RAF fighter pilots test dogfight skills in Poland
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 10/24/2023 - 14:00 in Military
The pilots of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) Typhoons jets have been testing their air combat skills, completing air-to-air training with and against Polish F-16 and Italian F-35 fighters.
Based in Poznan, Poland, the two-week detachment codenamed Operation Carson involved joint training with the Polish, American, Spanish and Italian Air Forces, conducting several air combat exercises throughout Poland and Lithuania.
Tumblr media
Typhoon pilots of Squadron 2 (Army Cooperation), usually based on the Lossiemouth RAF, completed training series of Dissimilar Combat Air Training, informally known as 'dogfighting', and Basic Hunting Maneuvers with Polish F-16 and Italian F-35 fighters to improve skills and compare tactics with NATO allies.
The Typhoons also operated with U.S. and UK Joint Terminal Air Controllers who, from the ground, directed the combat action when the jets provided close air support to ground troops.
Tumblr media
“During Op Carson, the RAF crew was able to promote important relationships and build a greater understanding of how the other Air Forces employ their resources, while exploring the challenges and opportunities of Employment in Agile Combat. Although most fighter pilots are trained in the same way, the opportunities to learn from each other are invaluable,” said Flight Lieutenant Lyle, an RAF pilot.
Agile Combat Employment or ACE is the concept of overcoming an opponent by being flexible, in constant movement and able to maintain operations with minimal support.
Tumblr media
In addition to training in the Polish skies, the RAF Typhoons met with the Spanish Typhoons in Lithuanian airspace, operating with NATO surveillance systems, to perform close positioning maneuvers. The Spanish Air Force is currently conducting the Baltic Air Policing, a NATO operation that the United Kingdom delivered to them in August of this year.
“This partnership-building effort increases interoperability between the Polish F-16s and the British Typhoons and the training allows both sides to engage in realistic practices in the demanding air domain. The base is pleased to welcome friends from the United Kingdom to allow this highly beneficial training with us and other NATO countries. Together we are stronger," said Colonel Pi? tek, Commander of the 31ª Polish Tactical Air Base.

Let’s talk about the infamous ones ...
When the stories from Kim Zmeskal’s former Texas Dreams athletes came out one of the things they repeatedly asked was that people stop making lists of good coaches.  Texas Dreams reputation as a “good gym” had the effect of silencing them because they felt like no one would believe them.  I do think it’s worth going through why some coaches have bad reputations and exactly what is at the root of those reputations.
This list does not include the Karolyis who are out of the sport or John Geddert who committed suicide before being arrested on charges relating to his abuse of gymnasts.  It also doesn’t include the reputations of NCAA coaches many of which are just as checkered.  it is by no means complete.
Rochelle Douglas (Great Britain) - Coach of European and British Junior Champion Catherine Lyons who has come forward with stories of being beaten with a stick, starved (including being told not to eat for a week while at a training camp), and emotional abuse.  At one point when Lyons was injured just before a competition she texted Lyons a picture of herself wearing the leotard that Lyons would have competed in.  She was banned for two years by British Gymnastics.
Al Fong/GAGE (USA) - Coach of 2004 Olympic silver medalists Courtney McCool and Terin Humphry.  Fong, foremost, infamous in gymnastics circles for the untimely deaths of two gymnasts.  In 1988 Julissa Gomez was paralyzed and subsequently died after performing a vault that many believe she was not capable of doing.  The second gymnast, Christy Henrich died as a result of an eating disorder.  There is a great deal of debate over how much Fong was responsible for instigating/fostering that disorder and over the years he and his allies have attempted to put forward a narrative in which he isn’t responsible but has changed his ways.  Most recently one of his former gymnasts used her role as a clinical psychologist to write an op ed to absolve him of guilt in this case in which blame was laid on the comments of a conveniently dead former gymnastics judge.  Other things that contribute to his reputation are famously draconian rules for his athletes (no boyfriends is one), a reputation for not listening to the advise of women other than his wife, and an instragram account which has occasionally posted content that many find disquieting.  On a different track his gym also comes with a reputation for occasional baffling routine construction choices and one of his athletes famously had her score lowered at 2019 worlds when they inquired into her score and the review jury lowered even more.
Maggie Haney (USA) - Currently serving a suspension for emotional abuse of her athletes Olympic Gold Medalist Laurie Hernandez and World Champion Riley McCusker.  Both have talked about being forced to train on injuries and overtraining.  Hernandez talks about Haney yelling so loudly that the businesses that shared a parking lot with her gym would file noise complaints with the town.  Her safe sport suspension will be up in 2025 and given that there are still families sending their daughters to train with her she will almost certainly be back in the sport.
Kelli Hill (USA) - Coach of Olympic Gold Medalist Dominique Dawes, Olympic Silver medalist Courtney Kupets, and Olympic Bronze Medalist Elise Ray.  Most of the allegations around Hill stem from her time when Dominique Dawes was living with her which Dawes has recently started to detail.  Dawes describes Hill taking advantage of the stresses on her parents marriage to gain control over her, of belittling her, gaslighting her and sitting on her during stretching.  In 1992 she threatened to send Dawes to the Karolyi camp as punishment and later as the Nassar survivors started to talk about their experiences at the camp she claimed that Aly Reisman was exaggerating the conditions.  She has recently retired from coaching elites but as of 2022 is chair of the powerful International Elite Committee in USAG.
Vladimir Lashin (Canada) - At one point the head coach of the Canadian women’s team his gymnasts tell a litany of horror stories from injuries caused by or ignored by him, forcing them to stand on scales, and massive amounts of verbal abuse.
Peggy Liddick (USA/Australia) - the coach of Olympic Gold Medalist Shannon Miller and later head coach of the Australian program.  While in the US she supervised Kerri Strug being allowed to compete with an abdominal tare which caused her parents to pull Strug from the gym.  For years Liddick described that there was a mistake in Miller’s 1996 Olympic beam that only she and Shannon knew and when she finally revealed it it was that Miller had a broken wrist and so couldn’t do one of the skils “correctly”.  Liddick as given a lot of credit for the rise of the Australian gymnastics program (which was on an upward tregectory before she arrived) and recently Australian investigative bodies have published reports into her treatment of gymnasts there.  This included among other things threatening to lock gymnasts in their room and feed them peas and carrots under the door, forcing gymnasts to eat their dinner (noodle soup) in her hotel room and withholding noodles from those who she deemed to not be working hard enough.  She made a number of strategic decisions in the 2010s which were somewhat baffling including refusing to take any gymnasts to 2013 Worlds claiming they didn’t have high enough scores (even though their scores would have placed them in event finals at that worlds), and leaving the 2014 Australian AA champion home from both the World Championships and Commonwealth Games.  Many consider Liddick responsible for crashing the entire Australian program.
Valeri Liukin/WAGA (USA) - Soviet Olympic Gold Medalist, coach of 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Nastia Liukin.  A number of WOGA athletes including Vanessa Atler and Katelyn Ohashi have come forward with stories about weight shaming and eating disorders developed at WOGA while other WOGA athletes tell stories of emotional abuse including of his own daughter.  Mostly WOGA is famous for producing teenage girls with injuries you normally see in 50 year old dock workers (with WOGA back being one of the more common).  He was forced to resign as head of the US women’s national program in 2018 after statements from former athletes.  He again tried to apply for that job in 2022 before yet more of his former athletes filed safe sport complaints forcing USAG to drop him from consideration.  He was briefly the head of the Brazilian women’s program until 2019 when they failed to qualify a team for the Tokyo Olympics.  It’s said that he forced long standing athletes like Daniele Hypólito out of the program wanting to focus on younger “more promising” athletes.  Many of which ended up injured during the Tokyo qualification process.  It’s worth noting that many of the Brazilian athletes have positive things to say about him but they largely amount to “he didn’t yell like our previous coach”.  Despite being considered one of the top coaches in the US he has never coached an American elite to the Olympics besides his own daughter and there are many young women who have been either burn out or injured before what was considered their prime.  He has also given some very eyebrow raising comments in Russian language interviews presumably believing that they would not make their way back into the English language gymternet.
Steve and Beth Rybacki (USA) - Coach of Olympic bronze medalist Jamie Dantzscher.  Weight shaming, emotional abuse and baffling pacing of the elite career of Vanessa Atler.  The account of their gym in the book Start by Believing is very damning as well as Steve Rybacki’s clear anger issues that he didn’t even hide very well in front of the tv cameras.  There is at least one story about him yelling at a journalist while he was on the US National Team staff for writing that a gymnast needed to work on her turns claiming that it was some kind of betrayal of their access.
Bill and Donna Strauss (USA) - largely retired though their daughter still coaches elites from the Parkettes gym.  The Parkettes became infamous after a 2003 CNN Documentary which showed them yelling and belittling athletes.  The gym had a long standing reputation for sending athletes to NCAA with serious injury issues.  Donna Strauss told one doctor in 1985 not to put stitches in an athlete’s face after an injury because she would be seen on television.  One of their more successful athletes was 2000 Olympian Kristin Maloney who competed on an leg fracture for more than a year and ended up having to have a rod placed in her leg.
Mary Lee Tracy (USA) - Coach of 1996 Olympic Gold Medalists Amanda Borden and Jaycie Phelps.  Many many former gymnasts most prominently Morgan White and Dominique Moceanu have talked about Mary Lee Tracy has emotionally manipulative--often using her evangelical Christianity to defend herself against accusations.  Her gym as a reputation for eating disorders and having athletes throw skills that they aren’t prepared for leading to injuries.  At one point she was not charging her elite gymnasts for her coaching as she saw it as good advertising for her gym though that meant that if you were in a financially difficult situation you may not feel able to leave.  In 2018 she was named as head of the USAG development program for about 3 minutes before being asked to resign after outcry from survivors.  In 2016 she had made this comment:  “My Olympians have all worked with Larry [Nassar]. We were all defending him because he has helped so many kids in their careers. He has protected them, taken care of them, worked with me and worked with their parents. He’s been amazing."  As of 2022 she was a member of the powerful International Elite Committee within USAG.
Vincent Wevers (Netherlands) - The coach/father of Olympic Gold Medalist Sanne Wevers.  He was accused of emotional abuse and harassing gymnasts who left the dutch national training center.  He was found not guilty of abuse allegations after the Dutch gymnastics federation failed to adequately investigate the charges.  After his contract was not renewed his daughters have left the national team and apparently set up an alternate training structure which appears to be an effort to force the Dutch national team to bend to their wishes judging that they are indispensable and attempting to scapegoat one of their father’s accusers by framing their leaving the program as her making them feel unsafe when accounts suggest that they the ones harassing her and refusing to mediate with her.  Many in the the Dutch gym world are at this point wary of Wevers family drama.
Wu Jiani/Anna Li (USA) - Wu Jiani is a former Olympic Bronze medalist and her daughter Anna Li was a star at UCLA and an alternate for the London Olympics.  They have been under investigation for verbal and emotional abuse for a number of years and Anna Li who is also a gymnastics judge has made negative social media posts against athletes who bring abuse allegations against their coaches.
Kim Zmeskal (USA) - 1991 World Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist, Zmeskal’s gym Texas Dreams picked up a reputation for burn out and a high injury rate (sometimes called Texas Nightmares or Texas Injury Petitions).  Their gymnasts seemed to flame out before reaching their potential and after Regan Smith was injured just minutes before the start of the 2017 Worlds AA where she was considered a favorite Smith competed throughout the 2018 season never allowing her ankle to completely heal.  In 2020 several Texas Dreams athletes came forward with stories of Zmeskal being controlling, pitting them against their teammates, training on injuries and ignoring an injured athlete crawling around on the floor in pain.  There were also allegations that her coaching partner and husband would make racist jokes involving masters and slaves and replacing a slur with the name of one of their young black gymnast.  Kennedy Baker has said that Zmeskal came into her hotel room and cut off her hair with out her or her parents consent which also carries a racial connotation given that Zmeskal is white and Baker is black.

This post is interesting since OP claims Vietnam has took a hard stance against China because of the South China Sea issue but afaik the relationship is friendly if not positive with some caveats (Id imagine similar to the DPRKs relationship with China) and the Philippines has allied with the USA in response to Chinese aggression as opposed to it being because US imperialism has forced the Philippines to pick a side between the two (combined with having imperial bootlickers for leaders).
Obviously am not an expert on this or anything and dont have much care for barbie but this is interesting.

real meaningful problems to postop transmascs/transmascs seeking bottom surgery
bottom surgery too much money call that shit expensive
lack of education about bottom surgery to people who don't actively look for it so allies and enemies alike dont know shit about bottom surgery and people who would benefit from it dont even know what their options are
medical gatekeeping forcing people to jump through absurd hoops only to have coverage denied for anesthesia
good fucking luck finding a urologist who has any experience with post-op patients, idiot
difficult to find clinics outside of the USA and Thailand bc while they do exist most resources assume you either live in the US or have the resources to travel to Thailand
postop/seeking op people having the topic treated like its a very serious tragic discussion so we're not included in any conversations unless people are sharing articles about gender clinics being bombed or reminding trans people that bottom surgery sucks
postop people being seen as incapable of sex or having lost their transgender sex appeal so people feel pressured not to get bottom surgery lest they lose their boypussy which theyre acutely aware is seen by many people as the only reason you would fuck a transmasc person
again bottom surgery being seen as this worldending tragedy only the most selfhating transgendereds resort to is like The biggest problem for postop people and contributes to the isolation/alienation a lot of postop people feel. making jokes about bottom surgery and bringing it up in casual conversation is Good Actually and i wish more nonop people did it so i didnt feel like i only exist when its time for people to talk about how glad they are that they arent like me
transmisogyny in the transmasc community leading people to lash out at transfems for having "too much visibility" which prevents us from working together to strike back against the real enemy, healthcare providers forcing me to get updated mental health letters to prove im sound of mind for seeking phallo stage 2 as if im going to regret Just the tip
not real meaningful problems
random trans women making posts on their personal blogs about being trans women including posts about vaginoplasty
people making jokes about bottom surgery
postop people identifying with a variety of labels or having their identity change throughout the course of getting bottom surgery, yeah even people who end up not iding as trans anymore. not my business and not yours either
non-transmasc people seeking phallo/metoidio. aside from the extremely legitimate reasons intersex people who had surgeries performed on them without their consent/ppl with natal penises who have been in a Penis Accident would get it, or nonbinary people seeking it for the same reasons i am, who am i to judge if a cis woman wants to piss standing up. again why would i waste any energy on this when insurance companies exist

The Heavy Bakery - Kanami Profile
Back to MasterPost
Name: Kanami Oomori (“she who has the power to help”) Her “romanized name” while she was in USA was Kassia.
Age: Late 20’s (27)
Birthday: 25/10 (Scorpio)
Height: 1,70 (5′7′’)
Weight: 70kg (154 pounds)
Description: Buff woman, amazon-type, with nice face and hips. Straight caramel hair color. Has green eyes descripted as “like acid”, “that make holes in your soul”.
Hobbies: Practice Muay-Thai and Boxing, Running or Strolling through the park, taking some photos. At home she likes to try new recipes while listening to music and singing. Has a all-black gold-eyed cat called Medeyami (lit. “Darnkess with eyes”), Mede-chan for shorts.
Ocupation: Owner and Cook of a small but prosperous bakery, next to Yamashita Co’s Block, called OomoiBekari (”The Heavy Bakery”). Specialized in breakfast/brunch, cakes, sweets and shakes/smoothies. They thought of also selling ice cream, but gave up on that.
Trivia:
Actually Bissexual, but prefer men.
Some of the nicknames her friends give her are She-hulk (by Hiro), Gentle Giant (by Tomori, although she is not giant) and The Amazon (by Lihito and the four idiots).
Lived for 5 years in USA with her parents, and was in university at that time there.
Likes comfortable clothes, but in the feminine side. Hates high heels tho, because make her even taller and menacing that she usually is. Prefer combat-type boots.
Half Japanese Half American, and was actually her mother side who gave her the buff biotype.
Does not stand back from injustice and have opinions as strong as her fists. Has a command voice too, when needed.
Is graduated in Culinary arts, specialized in Pastries, but loves everything about cooking and preparing meals, even non-orthodox ones, like game meat and foraging-type meals.
Because of that, her favourite character in OP is Zeff Red-Leg, Sanji’s adoptive father, and a little of Sanji himself because of identification with his cooking skills.
Has a kink for Himbos. Some friends call her “dumbsexual” but not true, it’s the innocence-airhead-vibes that always get her protection instincts on fire. (I WANT TO PROTECC THIS S/O SO BADLY!)
Can’t handle alcohol so well. Gets sloppy and angry. No good.
Has a soft side and is protective with all people she likes, regardless of her own safety.
She lived in a discrict quite close of the “Inside”, and because of that, her family was constantly bothered by bandits and mafia, even having to pay “taxes” for protection. She always were frustrated, that’s why she learned to fight, because she wanted to protect everyone and to have no need to low her head for douchebags anymore.
Allies/Friends:
Hiroki Takeshi, takes care of the cash register, is Kanami’s friend since high school. He’s a charming, jokester, flamboyant guy but with a sincere personality, sometimes he can be a little nosy. Charismatic but tends to be manipulative. Gay. Calls her by Kana-chan (or Kanny). Have a evil and cunning smile that granted him the nickname “Satan’s Spawn” by Kanami. Not-so-Secretly has a green thumb and lots of plants at home.
Tomori Uta, another cook of the Bakery. Is also 27 and made Gastro as Kana, but in Japan instead of USA. She’s actually descripted as “cute and shortie” woman. Is a Hiper fan of Professional Fights as MMA, Wrestling and UFC, and “eats beefy men for breakfast”, as Hiro jokes. Acts like a Fangirl sometimes, but that runs strong in her family. Calls her by Kana-kun ou Kana-chan (Kana). As Herself having a sweet tooth, her speciality are cookies and little sweets/candies.
Jiki Paikon, the Janitor. Misterious middle-age man, always drinking and sleeping in workin’ hours, but as he is always doing his job (no one knows how), they leave him be. Calls her by Oomori-sama (Miss Oomori)
Tomoyo Haruhi, the waitress. Soft, cute and chill girl, 16 years, at high school. Works part-time and loves to stroll everywhere with her roller-skates, even inside the Bakery (which is in theme with the 50′s vibes of the bakery). Calls her by Oomori-san or Kanami-san (Miss Oomori or Miss Kanami).

Key New Evidence and Small Corrections To Seymour Hersh’s Nord Stream Sabotage Revelations + video + Op-Ed
In his latest article Hersh describes the destruction of the North Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea by U.S. government forces, based on a tipoff by an unnamed CIA whistleblower. If proven it reveals a very grave Act of War by a terrorist USA against NATO ally Germany, Russia, and the whole EU. Due also to recent US outrages, like sanctioning half the world, blocking and seizing assets, breaking…

#How to network axis and allies computer game how to#
#How to network axis and allies computer game upgrade#
#How to network axis and allies computer game full#
#How to network axis and allies computer game mods#
Improved Logistics now increases Visability and Supply Zone by 7.5.
#How to network axis and allies computer game upgrade#
Panzerfaust AT upgrade now adds 25 to attack value.Ĭoscription now decreases infantry cost by 40%. Regular AT infantry upgrade now adds 15 to attack value. Entrenchment now decreases entrenchment time by 50%. Garand Rifle further decreases reload time. *Upgrades: Schurzen now also increases health of German Tanks, adds resistence to explosives and gunfire, and defence value. SAS troops have more range and have a slightly stronger attack. Great Britain: Best anti-air units in game, with stronger, faster, and more long range attacks. Airfields have 1 extra bomber and 2 extra fighters. USA: Can build marines at all battleships. Zero moves faster (almost useless upgrade except for scouting). Japan: Sniper unit greatly improved (range and fire rate improved). *Sides: Germany: given major boost, Tiger I and II greatly improved in health, Pz 4 slightly improved in health and attack, can research many more upgrades (infact, non german players should focus on taking out a German player quickly, or the units can become frighteningly powerful). *Battleships: No longer detract from resources. *Carriers: No longer detract from resources, and carry 10 fighters and 4 bombers. Cheap and quick way to improve economy as well as strengthen supply lines. Add +10 to cash income as well as +5 oil and ammo. *Supply depots: Quick sources for cash now. *Airfields: Now give extra resources rather than drain them, in fact they give the most resources of any of the buildings to make worth their large cash cost (though you get more money from producing several Supply Depots for less cost, see below).
#How to network axis and allies computer game full#
Maskirovka and Panzer Hohle now create a full strength medium tank regiment, but the regiment cannot be resupplied. Kamikazi and Vengence now much more effective, about equal to carpet bombing, to justify their equal XP cost. *Special Ops: Atomic Bomb removed, replaced with Carpet Bombing (come on, America only had TWO of the things, why let them drop them like rain every battle? Some other special ops changed (cost, effectiveness, etc.). Axis now must capture all three enemy capitols to win. *WWII:Costs for units and upgrades reduced, sides start with more units. African Refineries provide more oil, USA Banks provide more $) *Accurate bonuses from regional buildings(ex. Now Corps HQs take up 4 slots deployed and Airfields take up 2. *Ammo and Oil Depots take up no building slots when deployed, but leaving them in a truck takes up a building slot *Artillery and AA Batteries have less upkeep *Artillery Batteries have more hp, def., and damage but less demoralization *Bunkers have more health and do much more damage, but can only target two enemies at a time. *Supply Depots cost more and provide a little less money than in Morgenblitz Now, individual regiments don’t take up a slot, Troop HQs take up 1-2 slots. exe for compatibility and stability, patch. Key Features and characteristics:ĭunkirk, Invasion of Russia, Manchuria, Sand Storm.Ī fixed.

BATTLEFIELD 2 SERVERS PATCH PATCH
If the player joins a squad while dead, the player will not be able to use the squad leader as a spawn point until they have respawned once. Fixed issue with player not properly ranking up on servers where they continuously play. Fixed the bug where helicopters abandoned in the air would continue flying. Prevented ban list from being cleared in the event of a server crash. Fixed issues with remote console and linux server Default Kit Selection: The kit that you used last is remembered at the beginning of the round and between maps. 10 is easiest, 100 is the most difficult. Team 1 is always the MEC, Chinese, or their allies, while Team 2 is always the USA, EU, and their allies.īot Difficulty: This setting determines the skill level of the bots. For example, setting this value to 25 means that 25% of the total bots will spawn in Team 1, and 75% in Team 2. Number of Bots: This setting allows you to determine the total number of bots that will spawn in game.īot Ratio: This setting allows you to determine the percentage of total bots that will spawn for each team. Several new options have been created that will allow the server creator to modify how the bots behave in game. Co-op: Co-op Mode allows you to play Single Player levels on the Internet and LAN with both AI controlled bots and human players. Air dropped vehicles: Squad members can now send a request up the chain of command for a vehicle to be dropped at their location.

DUNGEON LORDS STEAM EDITION HOTFIX DOWNLOAD MOD
No Patches for some PS3 games Thanks John! Nexus Mod Manager version 0.15.7 has just gone live on the release server and should be available when you start NMM (if you can start NMM) or from the download page for NMM. We’ve reached out to Sony for clarification on why this may have happened. You can find the full list below, compliments of DeidaraTV on PSN Profiles. This is partly why people praised the idea of putting Witcher III, and all of its DLC, on one self-contained Switch cart. Some companies were tying a lot of content solely to digital releases, and folks were asking constantly “physical edition when?” You’ve probably seen the chant before and rolled your eyes at it, but if this is the fate of the legacy PSN, it just goes to show you how important preservation really is. It all falls back to the warning signs of digital many years ago. In a few cases this process can lock folks out of DLC they’ve purchased without the new version to authenticate. There’s 35 known games in all, with a living list that grows by the day. The games range from Dante’s Inferno to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow to Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, all of which currently cannot obtain patches from the PSN.

DUNGEON LORDS STEAM EDITION HOTFIX DOWNLOAD PATCH
But on the flipside, Sony is shutting down entire marketplaces for multiple devices, and now it seems like the PSN’s backend is shoddier than we thought.Īccording to myriad users on the forum PSN Profiles, a handful of games no longer patch at all. This site contains mods, free game modifications created by the fans, and official add-ons for your favorite titles. The ripples of their efforts to actually allow people to play their old games have been felt for some time, especially when it comes to preserving games as old as the original Xbox platform. Just recently, we were talking about how great it was that Microsoft actually valued game preservation. 48 games (that we know about) are still impacted to some degree, including some bigger games or exclusives like White Knight Chronicles and LittleBigPlanet 2.] However, since our first report, a ton of games have also been added to the list and do not have patches. Alien: Isolation, Battlefield 4, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Dante’s Inferno, Dark Void, Dead Nation, Dungeon Siege III, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, Gran Turismo 5, Jet Set Radio HD, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, Just Cause 2, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, LEGO Lord of the Rings, LittleBigPlanet: GOTY, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Mortal Kombat, Need for Speed Shift/The Run, Resogun, SoulCalibur IV, Sports Champions 2, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Online Edition, Tekken Tag 2, Twisted Metal, WRC FIA World Rally Championship, and Zombie Tycoon 2 have been patched. [ Update: The PS3 community is starting to discover that some games are getting patches back, mysteriously, as of this week.
