Maria goes off to complete a contract while the other two continue onto the capital unaware of spying eyes.

As always Yang enters the story and a big old thanks to @fillmargarin for the incredible art as always. Yang will be filling the role of Opera Vectra who came to the planet in search of her fiance...which is the same thing as the game character. Go figure.

NarutoXStar Ocean: The Plot Bunny that should not work

So for the sake of my own amusement (and so you guys can see how my brain came up with this mess) you guys are getting background on where and how this started. And some trivia, because apparently my muse is feeling evil.

So! I was watching the Star Log #2 on twitch, which is talking about the not yet released Star Ocean 5. This was making me really want to play the old Star Ocean games I have, and thus just making me think Star Ocean thoughts. The first Star Ocean I played was years ago on the Playstation, and it was Star Ocean: The Second Story (gonna call it Star Ocean 2 for short), which was the first officially released game in the series in the US and the second game made.

Ok now on to the bare beginnings of this.

I was thinking of Ashton Anchors from Star Ocean 2 games and for some odd reason, he reminded me of blackkat’s Twin Souls fic (not quite the same just a vague reminder). To summarize, Ashton is a traveling luckless mercenary character that fights with twin swords and a mix of Symbology(basically that worlds version of magic), and in the process of fighting a two headed dragon he gets distracted and has the neck and heads of the two headed dragon fuse onto his back. The dragons can actually possess and control Ashton if they want and while Ashton can understand them other people can’t. If you get him as a character you can’t get Opera Vectra and Ernest Raviede, who are from Tetragenesis and have three eyes, two in the normal place and one in the center. I reblogged a post with Ashton not too long ago, if you want to see.

Anyway I thought that would be the end of it right? Right!? Wrong.T_T

So @lazuliblur and I have been having some conversations on things that should not mesh (which are very interesting and fun!) and I was remembering a NarutoXMass Effect fanfiction story I read, which apparently has rewired my brain into things that should not work.

So there are two separate different parts to this.

Part 1: Because, I was thinking of the three-eyed race from Tetragenesis and well...

Kaguya popped in my head, which I was like no muse don’t do it. Don’t... nope it’s happening... sigh...

So the interesting thing about Tetragenesis is:

Tetragenesis is a planet located in the Eta Sector. Once a thriving planet, its inhabitants have since been forced to live on the four artificial satallites ever since the planet was made inhospitable by a series of solar flares.

So there is no reason that Kaguya could not have been a part of a ship that was escaping her home world, and it crashed leaving her as the only survivor with the ship being a total loss aside from the transporter that can reach the moon and no way to call for help.

So she settles in this new world but she sees all this fighting and wants it to stop. She eats the forbidden fruit, because she is from an advanced civilization and knows that superstition is silly right? The fruit changes her looks and gives her much power. For a time everything is fine and she makes peace in the land. Her eating the fruit changes the composition of the land and chakra spreads far and wide. But she was wrong about the fruit and it started to make her sanity degrade. In the end, her sons Hagoromo and Hamura had to seal her power away and used the transporter to move her body to the moon. However, all of her descendants are different from those people born purely of that world, due to their alien ancestry.

Part 2: Going back to Ashton. I am for some reason imagining Obito in his position. He was banished from his clan due to his beliefs and being unable to master the Uchiha Fire Jutsu, and he became a wondering mercenary helping others that fights with twin swords and chakra. Only he went to fight a two-headed dragon with one head green named Rin and the other silver head named Kakashi. Rin breathes healing and Kakashi breathes lightning, and they ended up fused to his back. Well Kakashi is always nitpicking at Obito and his bad luck, while Rin is always encouraging him. They end up becoming great friends after a while, though they always bicker. Kakashi makes sure to fry anything that comes too close, and Rin is there to patch him up if he gets hurt.

Okay, so I think that is it. Or I am just tired right now. If more comes up, I’ll post it. But yeah, this is the crossover that should not work... and the TangledXMonsters Inc gif I posted earlier mentioning this thing has apparently become a plot bunny to that I will have to write up later... but for now...gonna slink off... bye! XD
