Unbeknown to either you or Jack, you'd both retured home on the same evening with, what you both deemed as, exciting news. Jack had been touring the states for the past few months and after a lot of back and forth and meetings around the subject, he'd landed a 6 month tour of Europe starting in 1 month. His manager had rung him with the news when he was onroute home and so was bursting with excitement when he walked through the door. This was something he'd wanted for so long and he couldn't wait to tell you and to have you go on the road with him.

'Babe?!' he called through the house, hearing a faint 'up here' from your bedroom. He made the quick journey up and found you sitting on the bed with a smile on your face.

'Hi cutie' he spoke slowly, leaning down and pressing a kiss to your lips

'Got some exciting news' he bit his lip, waiting for you to give him the go ahead of telling you

'Oh that makes two of us, you go first!' you smiled, one of your hands behind your back clutching onto a small stick

'We finally got that European tour finalised, we leave next month' Jack beamed, waiting for you to jump up and congratulate him but he was left confused when your response was a sad face and slumped shoulders

'What? You not happy about this or something?' he questioned, a little annoyed that you weren't sharing the same excitement.

'No, I am it's just-' you got cut off

'Well tell your face that cause you look like I just told you we're breaking up' he huffed, watching as your face turned to disgust and you threw something at him, the object hitting his chest before falling to the floor where his eyes landed.

'My exciting news was that I'm pregnant, but turns out you won't even be here' your voice cracked on the last word, pushing past Jack and heading downstairs

'Y/N, WAIT' he called after you but was left with silence as you entered the kitchen, grabbing veggies out of the fridge for dinner.

'Baby' he circled the kitchen counter, his hands pulling you away from the chopping board and knife.

'Jack' your voice cracked as you looked at him

'I'll cancel the tour-'

'No! You don't- don't you dare! This is something you've fought for so long to get. I was just overwhelmed' you sighed

'Its a 6 month tour, starting next month, you'll be 7 months pregnant by the time it finishes'

'8, I'm a month pregnant Jack' you glanced up at him and a small smile broke out on your face as his eyes glossed over with tears.

'We're having a baby' he choked as a tear fell from his eye

'We're having a baby' you confirmed, pulling him in for a tight hug.
