It was a coincidence that we had been working with designer Olya Dyer (Artist's Page) on a t-shirt whose image seemed to lend itself perfectly to this situation... so we had a name and a logo ready to go. THE UNDERGROUND YOUTH

Manchesterbandet är framme vid sitt åttonde album What Kind Of Dystopian Hellhole Is This? – skivan presenterades genom postpunkiga och 80-talsinfluerade singeln ”Alice”. Inramningen är tidlös och vänner av School ’94 och Westkust borde lyssna extra noga. Grundaren Craig Dyer är en mix av Jason Pierce och Jim Reid. Det är dags för The Underground Youths stora genombrott.

Projektet startade som ett sovrumsprojekt 2008 och därifrån påbörjades en resa som tog Dyer över stora delar av Europa, för att signas av Fuzz Club Records och slutligen formades dagens liveband (tidigare festivalspelningar har hyllats av en enig kritikerkår). På scen utgörs The Underground Youth av Craig Dyer (sång och gitarr), Olya Dyer (trummor), Max James (bas) och Mark Vernon (gitarr).
