Me after someone lectures me about using the word 'delulu'
Clown
I'm not a clown because I misused the word "delusion"
I'm a clown because I preform stupid acts on purpose with no shame.
That's my job.
To do stupid stuff
I'm sorry my obsession with Thomas hurt your feelings 😔/j
Okay fr though. Delulu seems to be a separate word from delusion. Same idea, but different context.
Delulu seems to be more for tame subjects
Delusion is this definition
It could be possible delulu is an offensive term, but I wouldn't know that, why would anyone??
Please, if I say something that could be offensive, can you inform me nicely?? I have no social cues half the time, so I don't always get whats right or wrong. I'm also stubborn and have anger issues, so being nice honestly helps me out on the long run.
Alright, ty for coming to my ted talk
(This is SBG related, so...)

the thing i love about little shop of horrors is that audrey's story works from both a satirical context AND a context when the story is looked at from face value. like, her "i want" song is a satire on the stereotypical "i want" song, in the sense that she is longing for a perfectly normal, mundane life. but at the same time, in the context of the story, it also works. she's only ever lived a horrible life, one that threw her around like trash. the only semblance of normalcy that she's been exposed to is the ordinary suburbia displayed in magazines, so, as a victim of abuse and turmoil, suburbia would be a safe haven for her. of course it's what she's gonna long for-- it's the only positive environment she's ever been exposed to, albeit only in better homes and gardens magazines.
a lot of the lines that are played off for jokes also work in the context of audrey's story. like-- during the scene before suddenly seymore, she says something along the lines of "i'd put on cheap and tasteless outfits, not nice ones, like this one." now this line is usually played for laughs, right? because she's always pictured wearing something that WOULD be considered "cheap" in many people's eyes, usually a leopard print dress. but to audrey, it's a nice outfit, it's a wonderful outfit, because, once again, it's all she's ever been exposed to. she's so used to absolutely awful, dehumanizing clothing, that something that seems like a "cheap" outfit looks very nice to her. this also applies to a lot of the lines like "a fancy dinner at howard johnson's, etc"
tldr little shop of horrors is genius and i love audrey fulquard and she's the only character in the entire damn musical that deserved the movie ending

Honestly the craziest thing about running this blog is how many people that I've looked up to for YEARS who've interacted with or even followed me. Also the fact that people actually notice when I'm gone. Like, it is insane to think that I actually have presence in this community and I am so so grateful.
