Occult Recipebook

Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and caldron bubble.

INTRO

Occult gameplay is up there with one of my favourite ways to play. Food is a part of our Sims lives, and should also be for occults so that they can cook up their preferred foods.

This Occult Recipebook is a collection of custom recipes (food and drink) for Occult Sims in the Sims 4.

I have started off this occult culinary journey with: ✨SPELLCASTERS✨

I have plans to later create foods for each occult life state, so I will keep adding to the recipe book.

“Spellcasters” as a life state can be played in so many different ways: they can range from gnarly evil witches who practice black magic and eat bird entrails, to happy little fairies who live in cottages surrounded by woods and flowers! I have tried to include a little bit of everything in the recipes I have created. These foods are a mix of fairy, fantasy, green garden witch, apothecary, or black-magic sorcerer etc.

They effect Spellcasters and/or human Sims in many weird and wonderful ways.

E.g. Nettle Tea which helps teenagers suffering with acne, Milk Thistle Biscuits which leave the consumer with prickly thistles in their tongue, and Eye of Newt Soup which most Sims will find disgusting but which Spellcasters will happily slurp up.

'ere we go again...

The final hurdle is here: finding a house and moving in uhhhh 11 days. After the visa, I cannot afford a housing deposit. I do not have a guarantor and have been told by multiple agencies that they don't accept guarantor services. Oh yeah and I have to cull down and slog six years of crap with me south. So...I am once again asking for your help, as horrible as I feel about it.

So!

I am now offering rune and tarot card readings to help foot the cost. £5 for a simple three rune/card draw and a more comprehensive nine draw reading for £10. I have been reading tarot since the age of 12 and runes since I was 15, and am an actively practicing Heathen (Nordic Pagan).

Occult: Alien Motive Tweaks

I made this for personal use way back when I was working on my PlantSim Motive Overhaul because I wanted to mimic the Sims 3 alien motives. I've been playing with it for a while but I forgot all about sharing it here for a while.

This is simpler than the PlantSim one (hence "Tweaks" instead of "Overhaul"). Really all it does is merge the Energy motive and the hidden Brain Power motives together. Functionally it's an energy bar, but it's called Brain Power and themed around that. Using alien powers drains this instead of the hidden motive.

This mod adds several unique social interactions for occult sims (mostly for werewolves, though), converted from The Sims 3.

There are (for now):

Show Teeth (werewolves, vampires);

Rub Belly (werewolves).

THIS MOD REQUIRES XML INJECTOR!

Interactions description

Show Teeth

Category: Friendly -> Affection

Available for:

Werewolf to Vampire;

Vampire to Werewolf;

Werewolf to Werewolf;

Vampire to Vampire;

Teen-Elder;

Any relashionship score. Can be rejected. Autonomous.

Rub Belly

Category: Friendly -> Affection

Available for:

AnySim to Werewolf in beastform (but not in rampage);

Teen-Elder.

Requires 50 points friendship score. Succesfull only. Autonomous.

Sims get buff "Fuzzy Feelings" after doing this interaction. The actor gets buff from Cats and Dogs, the target werewolf gets custom buff.

Compatibility

This mod should not conflict with other mods because it adds new interactions and does not override any game sources.

Required addons

At least one of these:

GP04 Vampires;

GP12 Werewolves.

Recommended addons

The mod uses some sources from these addons:

EP04 Cats and Dogs.

If you don't have some addons from this list, you should also take extra packages from archive MissingAddonsSources. In other way you'll miss some buffs, pictures or sound/vocal effects. You'll also see "Lama pics" instead of missing pictures.

Take packages only for addons you DON'T own. If you have all recommended addons, you don't need this archive at all.

Installation

Install XML Injector (if you don't already have it) - just download it from ScumbumboMods website and put it into your Mods folder.

Put the OccultSocials package into your Mods folder.

If you don't own some Addons from "Recommended Addons" list, you should also download "MissingAddonsSources" archive and put packages of addons you don't have to your Mods folder.

Make sure you enabled script mods in game settings.

That's all!
