Titled in order: "Maxwell's Entry", "Acid's Entry" & "Louis' Entry" All are dated September 28th 2015

Yet another childhood project and its the biggest one yet, it was called "A Firefly's Path" and was going to be renamed "Star Field" but ol Bethany Esda beat me to that one, AFP was basically mario galaxy & homestuck kinda just shoved in a blender with a good helping of dark souls boss design inspo. This lil series was supposed to be opening scenes of some of the characters awakening in their respective purgatory where they will imminently be reduced to chunky marinara by the denizens of the planets.

okay so i am getting more into the roux and ambrose stuff than i thought i would

roux's new backstory is that they're on a team of criminals-for-hire. need something stolen? need to transport something valuable? need someone beaten up (within reason)? roux and friends are your guys! it's tough work, but there's nothing roux would rather be doing. (i don't really have a clear picture of their childhood/what led them to this point, but i'm sure i'll figure it out.)

ambrose now has a full name: ambrose lacrosse. he's a wealthy young businessman (like, early 30s) whose parents died a few years ago and left him everything. he's lonely, but he'd never show it. he's very friendly and cheerful and secretly deranged. like a golden retriever that turned evil.

i also want to bring back luis as one of roux's teammates, but i decided that roux's name is actually a code name, so i think luis needs one, too. something that actually sounds like a code name and not just a regular name. i'm working on it.

TES Summerfest 2022: Sacrifice

Word Count: 527 Words

He held the amulet aloft, its crimson jewel reflecting the light.

"All this trouble for something so small," he muttered. Something that could easily fit in the palm of his hand had led to so much death and destruction.

"Please, Marty..."

He turned around to face the woman behind him. Her eyes were glistening with unshed tears. "Don't do this, please. There has to be another way...I can-"

He shook his head and smiled at the woman. His friend, who had literally gone through Oblivion and back several times for him. "Everything's been converging on this moment. I've seen it so often...this was unavoidable, really. From the moment Kvatch was invaded and the amulet was taken, this was where things were going."

"But-! But it's not fair!" His friend began sobbing. "You shouldn't have to do this! You're one of the best people I've ever met! It's not fair!"

He hugged his friend tightly to his chest. "Please...let me do this. And...maybe we'll meet again." He smiled. "You're a resourceful woman. You'll find a way."

The woman clutched the front of his robes, but finally her grip loosened. She wiped her face. "This...you wait for me. Up there. Or I'll kill you." She gigged.

He smiled. "No worries. It's a promise."

He took a deep breath and looked at the amulet again. You can do this. Were those his own thoughts, or was the amulet speaking to him?

It didn't matter. He knew what he had to do. Lord Akatosh, he prayed. Please, let this work. Let Dagon be defeated.

He brought the amulet above his head, then threw it down onto the tile floor. He brought his foot down.

There was a blinding light.

Then power. Then pain. The light and magic and raw energy were tearing his body apart.

It hurt it hurt it hurt.

Then a voice, deep but soft. I'm sorry, it said. Mortal bodies were never meant to handle this sort of power. Not even those with a dragon soul.

He pried his eyes open. He felt himself moving, fighting. He saw a claw (his claw?) and a wing (his wing?) hit Menhures Dagon, sending him stumbling back.

Then a blast of magic. Dagon roared. And then he was gone.

He breathed a sigh of relief, and finally let his eyes close and felt himself drift away...

Luis opened his eyes. He was standing up. And not in his bed. Judging by the size of the room, he'd walked out into the central common area.

He sighed. "Not again..." he grumbled.

"Hey Ma...buddy!"

The voice made Luis jump. He turned to see a white-haired Nord woman sitting on the magicka pool in the center of the tower. She was smirking, one leg hanging jauntily over the side of the rim.

"Skilja," sighed Luis. "Sorry, I just-"

"Sleepwalking?" Skilja stood up. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. No worries. Some of my best friends are sleepwalkers!" She took his hand. "That's what happens when you don't eat enough cheese. Or was it too much cheese, I can never remember..."

Luis shook his head, tuning out his fellow student's ramblings.

She really did look familiar...

Yan reader that absolutely adores your works, he looks forward to each new book you publish.

Yan reader who is always at your meet and greets, your signings and has seen every interview, show or movie you’ve been in/written. But what he adores most of all is the books you write.

Yan reader that believes each book you write is written for him. He knows that’s not true, yet he can’t help but hope.

Yan reader that squeals when you address him (he chooses to ignore the confused expression on your face)

Yan reader who rambles on and on when you speak to him. He fawns over you and, despite the bodyguards intervening, tries to hug you. Unfortunately he does succeed and you are then trapped in his hold. (Luckily the guards pull him off)

“Oooh~ Beloved writer, I’m your biggest fan! I’ve read every book, I’ve watched all your movies and even those boring interviews you got stuck in!” He squeezes you tightly, his arms wound around you like a python. The guards struggle when removing him, as Luis is deceptively strong. (Despite his weak appearance)

Yan reader who fights to get back in yours arms and when he eventually does get back in yours arms, it’s because he caught you at a vulnerable time and just so happened to be passing by your house (he says he accidentally ended up in your garden)

Yan reader who’s obsessed with you and shows it, he has no shame. He sends you gifts (despite you not wanting them)

Yan reader who plans your life together. (He has entire journals dedicated to you)

Yan reader who stalks you online and in real life. He takes photos of you (though they aren’t very good) and likes every post you make. He’s dedicated to you and he wants the whole world to know it.

Yan reader who so desperately wants to kidnap you and keep you to yourself, but he knows he can’t do that. He can’t bring himself to drag you from the love and adoration you deserve. So he’ll simply admire you from afar and one day, when you no longer crave the spotlight, he’ll take you home and treat you like the wonderful person you are.
